Totally a blast was had by all that took part in the tour. The Marietta Square has a lot to offer and more food options than I have ever had the opportunity to try before. Our guides, such a cute couple, were very knowledgeable and informative. The tour was filled with bites from 7 restaurants within walking distance of the center. I will be back to visit a lot of the restaurants. Make sure you come hungry b/c you will certain leave full. I have gotta sign up for the dinner tour.

Absolutely perfect food tour on the Marietta Square! Everything was spot on and Brian and Cecilie, husband and wife power duo, have all the passion and knowledge needed for this tour! We took the whole family on a particularly frigid day, but that didn't stop the tasty fun! Starting at the Australian Bakery, moving on to talk about filming and the history of the Square and then to the Strand to escape the cold for a few minutes, we were on our way for a great tour! Don't want to give too much away and I'm sure the tour can change from time to time, but all the spots were fantastic!! The bonus of getting coupons to return to all of the places was just icing on the cake of a fabulous day!

Our minds, stomachs and hearts are full. We just finished the Marietta Food Tour, where locals Cecilie & Brian hosted us on a 2-hour adventure through the downtown Marietta square. The tour included seven "tastings," ranging from unique Columbian fare to coffee roasted right in front of our eyes. Along the way, we learned about the history of Marietta, including how it earned its name and how some of the local businesses on the square got their start (guess how much a Brumby Rocking Chair cost when this business first opened?). At nearly every restaurant or food establishment we stopped at, we met the owner, and Cecilie & Brian were also extremely well-versed on their backgrounds. They told us the stories of how these business owners got their start, how they operate their businesses today, and even what some of their own favorites are. I mentioned that our hearts were full - it's very interesting to hear how some of these business owners migrated to America, how they used every last dollar in their bank account to open up shop, and how they literally invest their lives in the success of these restaurants. The tastings were portioned just for us (not too big or too small), and a few samples were "off the menu" items that only a seasoned Marietta foodie would know about. At the Marietta Wine Market, the owner taught us how to make a party dip using some gourmet food items she sells in the store. At Cool Beans Coffee, the resident "roaster" showed us how he turns fresh green coffee beans into the roasted beans we all know and love. This wasn't just a "sit and eat" tour. It defied our expectations with the experiences we enjoyed, in addition to the great food. Our favorite thing about the tour was that it featured many businesses that are "off the beaten path" - places we've walked by and driven by a thousand times, but never took the time to stop and try. That's why I highly recommend this for locals, because I think you'll learn about restaurants you've never tried or special dishes at restaurants you've been to before that you weren't aware of. On top of the great time we had, the food guide we received has at least $25 worth of coupons attached that never expire. The coupons, on top of the food and drink served, is well worth the price of a ticket. It was a phenomenal value. Put the Marietta Food Tour on your calendar one Saturday, bring some friends, and prepare to be fed and informed!

    Celebrating my friend's 40th birthday!

This tour takes you to a lot of places in Midtown that I would've never seen before but now I want to experience these places as well. I've never been to Piedmont Park and I will be going back to visit. But the tour guy was amazing. He knew a lot on the tour and I will say he knew all of our names. It's hard to learn one person's name, but having to learn that seven people that were on the tour and being correct every time it was impressive. They give you a helmet and teach you from the beginning how to ride, slow down, come to fast stop so you are comfortable before you even start the tour. I absolutely enjoyed every moment of it. I highly recommend you take this tour if you're ever in Atlanta.

This is my first and only negative review. It takes a lot for me to do this. We had a very…read moredisappointing experience with this company. Our group of four booked a Segway tour weeks in advance and arrived as scheduled, only to be told upon arrival that the tour could not proceed because their tour guide was unavailable that day. We were informed that they had attempted to notify us the day prior, while we were in transit, but no meaningful effort was made to ensure we actually received that message. A voicemail was left while in transit that only gave the name of the person to call back. We did respond message the company back but no message of details was sent to us. There was no information given us that the tour had been cancelled and there was no effort by the company to call us back this morning to indicate the tour was canceled. Instead this company allowed us to show up. When we showed up this morning, the office was dead quiet. The one staff easily could've contacted us before we arrived, to have allowed us to make alternate plans. As a result, we showed up expecting a confirmed booking. While an apology and refund were offered, that is the minimum one would expect in this situation. There was no attempt to find a replacement guide or propose an alternative solution, despite the significant inconvenience caused. What was most concerning, however, was how the situation was handled. As we calmly discussed next steps among ourselves, we were unexpectedly told that we were making the staff member, Sammi, "uncomfortable". Despite the fact that even though we were highly disappointed we remained polite and measured. We were then asked to leave, and the door was locked behind us, which felt offensive as well as entirely unwarranted given our demeanor. She should've called us that morning and if anything that would possibly be why she was uncomfortable because of her own mistake. Our disappointment was warranted and we were not in any way aggressive, moreover never have any of us been called that. It's preposterous that her mistake, resulting in our disappointment and regrouping could be attributed with making her uncomfortable. She could have a higher tolerance for customers and customer service vs blaming validly disappointed customers for frustration which she caused. We are reasonable, respectful customers and simply expected clear communication and a basic level of customer service. Unfortunately, neither was demonstrated here. I would not recommend relying on this business if your plans depend on them.

Everything about this tour was amazing. But the shining star... our tour guide Jerome! He was an absolutely perfect guide and great guy! (We were very sad to say bye to him at the end of the day!) He was SUPER knowledgeable about wine and was able to explain things in a way that was easy to understand, and we learned so much from him! He took us to three great wineries, we got to spend about 2 hours at each I think is what it came out too. All the wines we had were fantastic and with his help, we were able to get so much out of the tasting experience. Since we were staying in Blue Ridge, we had the option to drive to one of the wineries to meet Jerome, and then he drove us to the wineries from there. He was a great & safe driver, the van was comfortable and he even had water and snacks for us! Also, they provided lunch for us at the first winery! They had a great choice of options (including vegetarian) and it was delicious!! (I personally got the brisket tacos and it was so good!) We would HIGHLY recommend contacting Pop The Cork if you're in town - and if you can, request Jerome - you will absolutely not regret it and will love him!
