The customer service has always been good - I recently went in to exchange a candle (within the 14 days) with a half printed receipt (the machine had run out of paper) and I didn't bring my wallet. The girl who helped me with my exchange was really nice and while it took a bit to locate my purchase from that day due to the situation she was super helpful and I was able to finish my exchange without having to come back. I no longer live in the area so I was really grateful to save an extra trip. I'm happy to see the store's phone number is on yelp. It wasn't originally when I was calling to ask about my exchange. I highly recommend this store for fun home things and cards!!! And for what it's worth - I love the kids shop next door. Everything I have purchased for friends with new babies or kid's birthdays has been a hit! It really is the cutest store full of things you won't find anywhere else.

We went recently and we were able to go in with others and there was no sign or table blocking the door. No lot parking; it's on sawtelle so it's just metered street parking. This interesting shop specializes in a variety of kitchen items including aprons, teapots/kettles, and coffeepots used for brewing it in the Turkish or West Asian style. Persian style rice cookers are a specialty here and a good variety in both size and cost is available. Non-kitchen items, pretty much all of which are suitable as gifts, pertain mainly to the "next room" as you would use them in serving tea and coffee, or snacks to your guests. There are also Judaic gifts, mainly kiddush cups. None of the staff volunteered to help me, but when I approached them they were very courteous and helpful. I actually prefer shops like this, because I enjoy the opportunity to look around on my own before initiating the transaction. The man I spoke to was very helpful in explaining how the rice cookers work. They don't offer ordinary rice steamers, but assured me that Persian rice cookers can be used for that purpose as well. read more

I love visiting boutiques. They usually have a more selective variety of unique items for your home, that the big department store do not carry. Since I like my housewares items and gifts with character, I visited this store recently. Small and quaint, yet full of exciting colors and contemporary items, I found a few serving platters and a great gift for an upcoming birthday and wedding I'm going to. Prices are comparable to Crate and Barrel (maybe a bit cheaper). I really liked their white serveware. They carry not only unique items but also popular brands. I really liked the staff (family run business). They were really helpful, and suggested some great items after I described what I was looking for. Thank you. We that live on U.S. territories rely heavily on the US Post Office (USPS) for shipping (mailable items, that is,) and unfortunately most online U.S. mainland companies would not go the extra mile to accommodate our orders/purchases by shipping via USPS. But those that do, truly know what Business Acumen is all about and Marigold Housewares exemplifies that trait. And then, one top of that, I received an updated invoice informing me of a quite lower shipping rate than earlier quoted. Even though it took two of us to find it,,it was well worth the search,A friend was gifted an apron that I just loved, and this was the place to go. But they had alot more than aprons. It seemed small from the outside, but wasn't the case once inside.
