They provide a frozen ice pack to take your goodie home with you (the other place had nothing). We camped out a lot a picnic table enjoying the scenery and animals. It was a $20 corkage fee for the table, which was waived when purchasing a $24 set of insulated tumblers, so it was easy to enjoy the prosecco and red wine we brought from home with our cheese boards & bring some souvenirs home. We also ordered mac and cheese, salad, and soup. One of the staff Sarah shared the history of the family owned Farmstead, as well as their current farming practices. We found it most interesting that they use Agricultural Methane energy, in which manure is pumped into tanks, bacteria breaks down the waste, and the captured methane is piped to a generator to produce the farm's electricity. They are also using solar power, so a very eco-friendly place! All the cheese & food was delicious and our friendly server (Sarah's daughter who was a delight) provided complimentary soft serve to end a perfect afternoon. We even had leftovers to take home! It was at their warehouse on Payran Street in Petaluma from 12:30pm to 6:00pm on 03/14/2025. I got there about 5:40pm and was surprised at the prices. I mean Toma that normally is $22/lb was $6/lb for precut wedges, and packages of Soppressata Salami for $3 instead of $8! You can't beat that with a stick!! Their cheese selection was large and very reasonably priced! The salami, well you could buy it by the package or the case with an additional 10% discount off the case. And the nice thing was they took credit & debit cards. Usually Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Co., is found in specialty places as well as the farmers market and this was their first warehouse sale event. The people working it told me with it being a cold, gloomy day that had a little drizzle, they didn't expect many people but apparently they had lines of people all day long! Hopefully, they will continue to do their warehouse sales as the prices are phenomenal, their cheese are excellent and it's always nice to buy and support local businesses!! My fingers are crossed that they'll announce some more warehouse sales!

I'm just a passer-by though, and when I did recently I noticed a Taco Tuesday special ($12 for 3 street tacos) that got me inside. There, between two of us, we sampled all 3 versions (beef, pork, and chicken) and between us we couldn't agree on which was best. What we did agree on? All were fine but none were so good that we'd be planning a return visit. What might get me back is knowing that they serve Straus soft serve (in which I indulged). On this visit they had only vanilla. An asset to the community, no doubt, but - taco curiosity satisfied - any future visits for this non-local will likely be fully focused on the soft-serve.

Yes, I know this little…read morejingle is about beans (see previous review) but Andante cheese just makes me SO HAPPY and I always hum this jingle when I am happy. (Which is pretty often and annoying to friends and family.) Anyway, my favorites from Andante include Rondo (I think it is so cute I had to take a picture) and Minuet. Rondo is a mix of cow's and goat's milk and according to the website, has "the fine texture and brightness of a goat's milk cheese and the mouth feel of a cow's milk cheese." Basically just means it is damn good cheese. The Minuet is a goat's milk triple-creme and is super, super smooth and is designed for champagne tasting. However, I am a heathen and prefer just to have it plain. Andante has a little stand at the Ferry farmer's market and is located at the far backside of the building next to Della Fattoria. A must visit!

Great choice! The Falafel Pita was full of so many goodies- it was actually kind of hard to hold it and eat it without it falling apart. We found a nice shady spot on the lawn to enjoy your food. I also bought the pistachio baklava, which I haven't tried yet as I was so full from the pita. We admired all the organic foods there- I bought some mushrooms, flowers, broccoli, and then had an iced coffee, which was a perfect ending to our afternoon at the Market.

Full Belly Farm is one of my go to's for fresh produce, almond butter, and fresh watermelon juice during the summer. Della Fattoria is another great bakery. I love checking out the new vendors and supporting local businesses whenever possible. There is plenty of parking across the street and right next to the market. It is open all year round every Thursday from 8am-1pm.
