It turns out that I did not have a simple bunion, but something much more complex. When the new doctor went in my foot to revise Dr. Drucker's surgery and remove the screw he had put in my foot, it turned out that Dr. Drucker had stripped the screw head when he put it in my bone and it was impossible to take the screw out. Plus, because I wasted so much time with the first surgery and recovery the joint on my toe is completely worn down and will never recover.

My right foot started hurting like hell and my walking gait had become a little wonky. l thought it was residual effect of having a screw removed years ago after a 5th metatarsal break had healed - wrong! Dr Wagstaff showed me my right foot was out of alignment, causing the wonky gait and pushing the side of my foot down into the side of the shoe, making it hurt! Dr Wagstaff showed me a simple stretch to release tension in my Achilles and a temporary set of orthotic insoles. The stretch brought the foot back into alignment, the temporary orthotic insoles kept it there. Dr Wagstaff did a mold of my feet while in his office, picked the orthotics up today. The results are wonderful! I walked out of Dr Wagstaff's office feeling like I was walking on a cloud; no pain and walking straight as a newly released arrow in flight - I call it miraculous! I can certainly recommend the services of Dr Wagstaff - pay attention to what he tells you.

I don't need his visa receipt, visa will provide that, but he needs to indicate what he's billing for. No other store, dr., service etc bills without indicating what it's for. No more replies here. He's not worth my time. He will undoubtedly reply because he always does. Can't help himself. He deserves all the bad reviews he's received.

I had repeatedly used topical remedies but issues persisted. Finally I decided to seek out a private Podiatrist and wound up in the office of Dr. Ortman. Thoughtful, kind and gentle he confirmed the fugal infection and proceeded to take the first of two last steps in eradicating it. Perhaps Kaiser Podiatrists neither use nor believe in laser treatments. I don't know because I. Never got in to see one.

His examination was just as careful. I liked how he described anatomic and functional nuances about my feet that I was completely unaware of, and how they contributed to my complaint. He examined my shoes and demonstrated why they weren't the best for my feet and provided a list of specific brands and models that would be better. Fortunately, my foot problem will not require any major therapeutic interventions aside from some special exercises, so it seems unlikely I will have to see Dr. Robison on a regular basis. However, my one visit gave me everything I would ever want from a doctor visit. Highly recommended.

( I suggest this is for financial reasons, of course) I always left with lots of questions. I was misdiagnosed by the practice. (Told I wasn't healing when I was) Dr Robinson (though probably qualified) spends a good part of the visit talking to his recorder (so it's hard to talk to him) I was charged for work that wasn't done, which I had to remind 2 of them to get a refund. I was told on one visit I didn't bring in the right shoes for him to see me walk in. So the next visit I brought in 2 pairs for him to see me walk in (plantar fasciitis) recovery, hopefully He adjusted 1 pair of orthotics, then when I said I had pain in the other foot too, the assistant told me he was with another patient I said I could wait. (she came back with an adjustment to other orthotic) Huh. Robinson was too busy to see me. Dr Robison's adjustments have been changed by another podiatrist, with good results. Avoid this practice! He also doesn't seem very empathic, though if he were excellent at his craft, I wouldn't mind.

I didn't know where to go for help so I contacted a podiatrist's office and while waiting Dr. Robison walked over to me looked at my big toe and it WAS INFLAMED AND TENDER AND SCREAMING and he pulled out his tweezers bent down and cut a small triangular piece of my toe nail off. It immediately relieved the pressure of the ingrown toe nail. He TOOK AWAY MY PAIN. That is what Dr's are supposed to do. No paperwork, no waiting three months for an appointment. He saw the need and he took away my pain with one cut of my toenail. The moment he cut that ingrown nail the pressure was gone.
