My son loves the interior with the walkways visible from the ground level - one could say he was impressed with his first view. The staff at the front desk is always so friendly and welcoming. They are why I've chosen to start again and again, even when it leaves us farther from our final destination. Every check-in, every entry truly leaves one feeling welcome. The gals I've had the pleasure of talking with remember us from day to day, it really does make for a wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, always clean and stocked. Daily cleaning is a treat with many hotels skipping days now. The restaurant is convenient for dinner and offers a very nice breakfast included with your stays. The bar and ample seating around it great to unwind in if you'd prefer not to stay in your room. This is our hotel of choice when visiting the area.

They kindly answered my questions and gave me tips about the hotel's amenities. The service during happy hour and breakfast were great. My room was clean, modern, and very spacious. There was a living room/office area in the front, and a bedroom in the back, separated by a bathroom. The furniture was spotless, comfortable, and in good condition. The bed was very comfortable, had plenty of pillows, and nice clean sheets. There was also a refrigerator, and two TVs! I stopped by for the free happy hour and they had drinks, chips, salsa, pretzels, peanut butter, veggies, and dip. It was a nice way to unwind after a long day. The breakfast was also free, and included things like oatmeal, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, fruit, yogurt, and toast. Juice, coffee, and tea too! It was a really great stay, and I hope to be back.

We've looked at dozens of venues and finally came across Acqua which met all of our criteria with modernness of the hotel, able to accommodate our party size, cost and being water front. However, we never would have expected how amazing the staff would be to make our day special. This hotel might be small but it has everything you'd want in a hotel including amazing amenities such was wine hour, freshly baked cookies, bike rentals, amazing location close to the GG bridge and Sausalito. All of the rooms also have amazing views of the water. The is also an amazing morning breakfast, not like a normal chain Marriot breakfast but much higher quality with vegan options as well. Overall, I am so thankful that we had our wedding at this hotel. Kirstin and her staff went above and beyond to make our day special. A part of me want to gatekeep this location for a wedding since it's honestly perfect but I'd love other couples to enjoy and have the same amazing experience that my wife and I had.

The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always smiling. They also offered complimentary unlimited water, coffee, and tea, which was a nice touch. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we were lucky to have a beautiful view of Mount Tam, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast was okay, but I wish there had been more variety and additional options to choose from. It was a nice perk, but expanding the selection would make it even better. The only downside is that the hotel itself feels a bit outdated. I think it has so much potential if the property were renovated, including the hallways, bathrooms, and guest rooms. With some updates, it could easily become an outstanding hotel. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. While I don't think the property itself is quite at a 4- or 5-star level yet, the exceptional customer service certainly deserves 5 stars. The staff truly made the experience memorable. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. The location and outstanding staff make it worth coming back. That said, I would love to see the hotel add a small lobby gift shop with snacks, drinks, and travel essentials to make the experience even more convenient for guests. The property has so much potential to truly stand out with some thoughtful updates and renovations. I would honestly love to renovate the entire place because I can see how beautiful it could become. The complimentary cheese and wine hour was a wonderful touch and something I really enjoyed and others as well. As for the cookies, they were good but cheap, but I think it would be even more memorable if the hotel partnered with a local Marin County bakery to offer fresh, locally made cookies or pastries. Supporting a local business would give guests a true taste of the area while creating a unique experience they'll remember. Those little details are what make a hotel stand out, and guests are more likely to remember both the delicious treats and the hotel that introduced them to them.

I am glad we chose the Best Western Hotel because of the following: 1. Location and closeness to the freeway in an off ramps. 2. Free parking. 3. Free breakfast and drinks. 4. Excellent staff at the check-in counter. I had some questions and they were gladly answered by them. 5. The cleaning crew was very helpful to me when I needed extra things for my room. 6. The room was very clean and orderly . 7. As an architect, the building exterior and interior design and use of materials were well-thought out and clean! 8. The price for our stay was very reasonable and fair to us seniors. In my future travels, I am looking forward to use the other Best Western hotels in the USA!

The space was clean and comfortable, and the room large and spacious. I had a king room which came equipped with the bed, a couch, desk, mini fridge, and microwave. The parking lot was nice and large, and finding a spot close to the main entrance was easy, though there is a slight hill to get up to the front. A continental breakfast buffet was included, and it was surprisingly good for a free hotel breakfast. It included pancakes, breakfast sausage, eggs, breads and pastries, cereal, fruit, and a few other items. When I checked in I was assigned a room that unfortunately smelled like cigarette, I immediately went down to the desk and they were able to switch me into another room that didn't. The hallways were a little loud and I could hear everytime a door opened and closed, luckily it wasn't too busy of a night, but I did still notice it.

I was surprised by how high the price was for an ordinary room with 2 doubles (with tax and fees, $329!), and we were put off by an additional fee of $15 per day in an unsecured parking lot! Here's what we liked about it: Beds were comfortable Small patio with chairs Pretty quiet from about 8pm to 6am Nice well tended courtyard Conveniently located Clean Here's what made it worth less than half what we paid: Absolutely no information in the room about anything at the hotel except the escape route from our room. Nothing about food, TV service, location of ice makers, etc. Incidentally with three floors they only had ice makers on the first floor The one lounge chair was wedged in between the bed and the patio door, but if you wanted to have your coffee there in the morning, no where to put down your cup. The in room coffee maker had enough to cartridges to make 3 cups of coffee in a room that has capacity for 4 people Only paper cups for the coffee Limited channels available, and if you wanted to access Prime or Netflix, you had to sign into your own account or pay a fee Only enough towels for 3 people Terrible lighting throughout, with the least strong lighting specially reserved for over the one sink in the anteroom to the bathroom, the only place available to do your makeup. Only grab and go food with long common tables if you wanted to eat in the lobby area. I paid over $20 for one medium sized coffee, a small blueberry scone and a one serving size of yogurt. Considering the price benefit, We will definitely not stay again.

Apathetic staff with no security of any kind. Read that; none and hold that thought or you'll wish you did. Room robbery common as are car smash and grab break-ins. The area and parking lots are notorious for smash n grabs and car trunks jimmied open. Good chance you're next. One room robbery occurred on our stay and tragic for the couple that lost their valuables. Locals say hotel staff is in on the crimes. Not prosecuted in California and Marriott will deny and distance themselves for any liability or any compensation in any situation. They are rehearsed with canned reactions if any. Close to food options and things to do. Not pet friendly. Lots and lots of strict rules. No futons no roll-aways no nothing. Breakfast not as good as Hamptons. Easy walking distance from Ionna and the horrible ChargePoint EV charging.
