Bit of a niche review this I admit. But they offer groupon deals and its no more than a ten minute walk from the hover ferry port so if your an avid deal seeker (or part of the 3 hour queue for an isle of white festival). The Marina Bar may well end up on your radar.
Being what you'd call an "out of the way" joint the Marina bar's prices are set low, and for the cost you get a whole lot of food especially. Reasonably prices for drinks also make it a fairly popular attraction with the locals in the know.
With obvious links to the Marina (its in it), you've fine views for the boat enthusiasts amongst us as well.
Its usually quiet and so the services is quick and they've often time for a chat between orders. There's a pool table tucked round the corner and despite being right on the coast its a cosy enough spot.
Though i have not been (and so can't review in its own right), there is an India restaurant right next door as well. Perhaps not the kind of place you'd drive out deliberately to eat at but if your in the area i'd say its certainly worth the detour.
