My truck engine was in need of a major repair and my thoughts were that Mountain Power, being diesel focused experts was the best place to go. The repair cost me over $5k. It wasn't long after the initial fix that I began having new problems, which cost more money to get fixed as their basic response is 'not our fault, we didn't touch that part...'. After another $2k paid I still have one big issue. My truck has an intermittent no start problem. It just won't start period. I've had it back a couple of times, one where it was misdiagnosed and one where the problem can't be found. The last time it happened I called and left a message to see how they wanted to proceed. They never returned my call. This is not the way to run a business. I'm now out over $7k and stuck with a vehicle that I can't trust will start. If this is what you expect from an auto repair shop, by all means take your business to Mountain Power Performance. But... I certainly won't do business with them in the future and would strongly encourage others to take their business elsewhere as well.
