    I'm a ticket queen!

This place is ADDICTING!! I would bring like $200-300 just to play games here! THE PLACE IS HUGE!! The games are so much fun it will make you feel like a little kid. From skee-ball to the circus game or wizard of oz game everything is a blast. You can accumulate your points if you visit yearly and save them for the year to come. The prizes they have are SUPER COOL. That includes everything from sports memorabilia to jewelry and kids toys... hands down best prizes on the boardwalk!! The only place I do prefer to play the "crane games" is Ed's arcade. Other than that I love mariners! They also have great poker machines which are so much fun and addicting so beware!! I love how some of the machines give you actual tickets and it's not just added to your card, brings you back to the 90s!

My favorite arcade on the boardwalk for the last 15 years. It has a great selection of ticket and coin-reward games including skeeball, video poker, claw machines, scoopers, video games, Deal-or-No-Deal, and more. However, unlike other arcades on the boardwalk, they invest in bringing in repeat customers with frequent buyer cards to store your points (and give you bonuses), extra points for changing quarters there, and special bonus-point games every hour on the hour for either skeeball or video poker. The prizes offered are also better than your average boardwalk swag, so you can actually get more than a mustache comb and a wax mustache to bring home for souvenirs. Mariner's is centrally-located on the boardwalk as well, and air-conditioned, serving as a ready-made spot to stop when you need to sit down and cool off from the summer heat. You can't find a better spot on the boardwalk to rack up points, and get your prizes to show off later.

For those with small kids not able to ride all the bigger amusement park rides, this arcade is where to go. They kids can find plenty to do and see in here, and there are plenty of games for the adults to get into as well. Between the lights, large arcade video games, spinning wheels, quarter dozers, video poker, and plenty more, there is something for everyone. As with any arcade that dishes out tickets to later exchange for cheap prizes, it can get frustrating winning enough tickets for anything worth while, but thats all part of the fun. Lines at the ticket/prize counter were very short, even for a Saturday summer night, as there were plenty of employees ready to help. Had an issue with one of the machines taking quarters and not working, but it was promptly fixed. Huge crowds of people moving in and out of the arcade, but traffic seemed to flow well and it wasnt too difficult to gain access to the games. Inside was clean.

My kids were…read moreinterested in those silly call games but once we made it past the front door, here at this place with something special, as if I had stepped into a tunnel back in time. This retro arcade was full of antique coin operated arcade games and other novelties even older. We enjoyed Gallagher and astroid, Miss Packman and a few others. It is amazing to me that these upright arcade machines were still working after all these years. To be fair, some thing this old can't be in perfect shape and your expectations should be sad accordingly there are some other types of games in the back but overall it was pretty fun.

I agree with the person who says it is dirty and smells very bad of mildew. And I don't get the no pictures rule. The reason I don't understand is I had known Randy for years and, and we were in there and he thought I was taking a picture when I was texting my pet sitter. He came up to me telling me to stop and he acted like he didn't believe me. Anyway, later I saw a Facebook post someone put on there about taking pictures. I added to that asked him why he didn't allow it because people adding photos of the old machines to their reviews could get him more business, and next thing you know I was blocked. You don't need to go somewhere for fun and be followed around by spies and getting an asthma attack from the mold. Save your money.

We did find the selection in a smaller atmosphere better than other places on the boardwalk that were more overwhelming. Ed's has a good selection of prizes to work towards, and definitely a good selection of games, and challenging machines. However, the second time my daughter was very upset about not winning a Bulbasaur stuffed toy, and I kind of figured maybe it was just because she was late, and tired. However, Ed has his personal phone number on display with a sign saying if you ever need ANYTHING, text him! So I did. I told him how much we dropped in the machines, and how upset my daughter was. I didn't expect to hear from him or anything. Boy was I wrong. That man went out of his way to make my daughter happy. I can't wait to tell her tomorrow what Ed did when she wakes up! My point is that most managers tell you "we are following policy", or "sorry there isn't anything I can do for you". But not this guy. He personally made sure his clients were happy, and shook my hand 3 times before concluding business. I will frequent Ed's arcades whenever I am back in Wildwood, and the people who run businesses back in my hometown of Saratoga Springs in NY could take a lesson from him! Thank you Ed for a wonderful time, and your wonderful arcade!
