I love Mariners Church! We started attended during Covid times when in our immediate area of South OC didn't feel comfortable with attending church in person. I really appreciate the diversity at Mariners, the large campus with different areas you can choose to worship indoors or outdoors. I love that during each holiday they have different photo ops areas and events to enjoy after Saturday night service. They have Saturday 4pm, 5:30pm service and Sundays 8:30am, 10am, 11:30am. My 11 yo just got baptized at Mariners through his own wishes this past summer! My 16 yo has been attending here with his friends over the past years and has volunteered in the kids ministry this past year. I love that both my boys are growing with different leaders they are exposed to. What I love most is personally is the amazing worship sessions inside the chapel as the acoustics are incredible. I love the worship nights they host and how they have different ministry's for everyone. Lastly, I like that I don't feel obligated to connect with people. People are definitely friendship and welcoming but not pushy. I love pastor Eric's messages, they are personable and relatable to me. This is the most beautiful church I have ever been to.

Pleasantly surprised by this megachurch. They're very organized and well resourced but also stick to teaching the Bible. Would go again!

Amazing church and campus. This church can seat a lot of people comfortably. They have cushioned stadium seats and a great sound system. The atmosphere here is electric. Lots of young people in the church so it's growing. I really enjoy my time every time I come here. Happy Yelping!

Unwelcome to be here despite a nice campus. Poor set of procedures set by staff & ushers. Too much hypocritical actions such as discrimination based on how I dress up nor look. In addition of insult, preaching was too hype along with rest of service. Worship blasting loud with many lights displayed yo distract. Pastoral team don't care to reach out helping if in need. Rather, all be money over people. So many problems to list out. The top plus rest of them working needs to take responsibility and repent. More surely an actual show and business than a real church alone.

Mariners is a beautiful church, especially during Christmas. When we came here last week, everything was being set up for their holiday program. Volunteers were setting up for their midweek youth and adult services. The far parking lot had two screens for the kids and their families to watch movies (like a drive-in theater). The outdoor auditorium had the church band set up, and they were playing Christmas music. The lights were wonderful. I've been to the church several times, and the services were good. This church location has a lovely campus. Although people weren't especially friendly, I've heard they have a lot of small groups to get involved in here. Mariners really goes all out for Christmas. This is definitely a church I'd check out if I lived in the area!

    Saturday's 4:00 pm service ... my favorite!

I was an employee of Mariners Church for several years, and there was much about it to love. However, I got a call from my boss one day asking if I was sleeping with the woman I had been dating exclusively for 5 years. I gave him an honest answer,…

Everything felt well organized and planned. The people taking me in took a minute to ask my name and connect. In the teen area check-in wasn't so organized- but there was a new system. The 3 "greeters" (all teens) were neither warm nor welcoming, but I was told everyone inside was quite welcoming. The teen message was reported back as one of the best ever before heard. I found the crowd to look pretty mixed and people looked like the average OC people that I encounter just about everywhere else around. The message was incredible and the guests message was equally inspirational. The thing that stood out to me was the message imprinted on me in a way that I don't feel happens other places. I didn't take notes, and yet I found myself able to recall the message well and access it through the week. While I'd heard the name Greg Laurie before, I didn't know much beyond that. I left hungry to know more about pastor Greg and his ministry, and constantly seeking out more of his messages. Parking wasn't the most fun I've ever had though. Save extra time to park.

Everyone is so kind and welcoming. With a great diversity of people from all types of backgrounds. We all accept each other even if we are different. The worship is incredible and the service times make it easy for most people. I have been to so many churches in OC but none stress discipleship like Harvest. For those who get involved, you will be looked after, cared for, challenged to grow in your faith. The focus is prayer and discipleship. Spiritual growth comes from having close relationships with others like you who want to grow. Each person helps each other through love and fellowship. One of the other great elements of Harvest is our senior pastor Greg Laurie. Every week, we get the best messages. It is a blessing to be a part of this church.

We've been here three times since last year, and I can't believe I never checked in before this. Our first visit was during the 2017 NAMM show. We were fortunate to actually attend NAMM and found that an artist that we'd recently discovered (Antoine Dufour) was playing a set during the convention. We bought our tickets and drove from Anaheim to Irvine, to this little church in a strip mall. The space is welcoming and open, which you'd probably expect from a space that's normally a church. The thing that I loved about being here is that the pastor opened up the sets by explaining why they decided to do this: they have a passion for the arts and want to contribute to artists' successes as much as possible. I can get behind that! They have a good sound system, and no matter the setup (we've been to shows that have just rows of chairs lined up, and to a show where they had small couches mixed in with the chairs), you'll experience decent audio quality. I signed up for the upcoming shows mailing list, and it's interesting to see the acts they have coming through. Like I said, we've been three times, and I keep an eye on their calendar just to make sure we're not missing anybody. Definitely a great venue, and one we're always happy to visit.
