Horrible! Hot tubs are not kept up - consistently grey and dirty!! They allow for kids in diapers to swim in the hot tubs. Now, they are attempting to fix the roofing because they are in need of it ; however, they are burning plastics that are unfortunatley contaminating our environmental space - so unfortunate - used to be a decent place - not any more! read more

Maribel the manager refuses to acknowledge any complaints about the dogs , parking, and the safety of the tenants. When you go to corporate they just pass the buck. The inspector for termite damage has never been addressed correctly to satisfied the inspector. Has come out multiple times. And the management just puts it off. The dog park is not accessible to a person with a walker or wheelchair. The pathway and side walks get palm tree debris when a storm hits and for 5 days before it got cleaned up. Vehicle with jack stands under the vehicle as it is a hazardous and safety violation of Mariner's Cove policy . I have photos that can't be uploaded I tried multiple times my name Bill I see at first hand of the issue that go on hear. So you don't fix the issue you pass and make excuses to those that live here everyday. There are more complaints about this place than I have ever seen my whole life it amazes me that you continue to allow a management to run this place to the ground. You rehired the person so you you guys the headquarters can pass off. The buck to her is a big ass joke. What you see in this complex you guys should be ashamed of yourself allowing every management to allow and continue to breach each contract in this facility. Down safety conditions on this place is horrible. As a standard person that visits this facility, I can't understand why it's still able to run the way it is. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Im moving out a month early because I can't wait to get out of here. I signed a 2 year lease and discovered early on that my neighbors smoke outside of their door, which is RIGHT OUTSIDE my window. I have not been able to keep my window open the entire 2 year lease because this man and his mother chain smoke simultaneously, so it was either let my room fill with smoke or be uncomfortable and stuffy. This man also has a bad smoker's cough and smokes late at night or very early in the morning aside from regular daytime hours, so he is coughing up a lung very loudly 24/7. This complex is advertised as smoke free and I received the opposite. I complained to the office and they supposedly told the neighbors to stop and got legal involved but that's bullshit because this was an ongoing issue. I also have previous health issues that I mentioned to the office and they did not give a shit and were not accommodating at all. The day we moved in, it smelled like chemicals, we figured it was the paint, but the stench lingered for 2 years, and the worst part about that was I couldn't open my window for fresh air because of my chain smoking neighbors. We had a moth infestation, gnat infestation, roach infestation and we had mice. They only came out for the nice once and left a mouse trap, which we could have just done ourselves. We ended up discarding the trapped mouse ourselves. The office doesn't care about your complaints so don't even bother. I will just give a shout out to maintenance, they were on top of their work orders. Other than that, this was the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in and I've moved around a lot. I do not recommend, the location is great, but not worth all of the issues. read more

I've left a positive review here while I still lived there, but I figured I let some time pass so I can really give an objective review. It's been a little over a year since I've moved out and these are my pros and cons. Pros: - location (at the time we moved in it was the most affordable in the area) close to OB, PL, mission bay etc. - gated community (gates aren't always closed and ocassional dumpster divers and randos at night) it was enclosed for the most part which gave me a piece of mind when it came to our dogs. - greenery, i really missed the east coast greenery and i felt like this community was really nice to walk my pups around in, and it was big! I'm a paranoid girly, but I always felt safe doing my daily walks no matter how early or late. - We lived in building 4350 and I never saw a rodent or roach. Some silverfish and termites forsure. Cons: - mold covering our items in the closet and black mold growing in the bathrooms - when reported, they sent out a company that said I just need to do a better job of cleaning it with bleach.... - car break ins at night (got almost $2000 worth of things stolen granted we shouldnt have left things in there) - crime: i've seen units get swatted by the police almost a handful of times in my area of the complex alone lol you will always hear a helicopter nearby looking for someone on the run. Also, we had a squatter incident in a unit nearby that resulted in that place being and smelling filthy, filled with junk all around it. sincerely feel bad for whoever lived next to/near that unit. - communication: it is dang near impossible to get in contact with someone from the leasing office. Even showing up in person it will often be closed during normal operating hours - lack of transparency: as our move out date was approaching I asked for what type of wear and tear and damages would put us at risk for losing our deposits and they verbatim said "if you take the microwave with you or have huge holes in the walls. It's usually big things - I wouldn't worry about it" and then proceed to charge us to the point where we lost our entire deposit MIND YOU the most damage we had was a chipped corner on our baseboard. The whole unit was practically made of cardboard and painted over. That chipped corner was from when I merely stubbed my toe Also; my dog has an ESA certification that I had obtained through a psychiatrist and they rejected it because they felt like it wasn't a genuine one, despite the signature and organization being listed. So my girl still had to pull her part and pay her $70 rent/month. Maintenance: they responded to all of my maintenance requests in a reasonable amount of time, but were really sloppy with their jobs to the point of leaving big equipment in our unit and forgetting about it. They have left so much behind, and when repairing things in the walls often times they wouldn't even paint over it. So id be left with big patches in my walls of unfinished work, theyd leave behind fans, tools, material. I wouldn't be surprised if they factored this into the damages at the end thinking WE left it like that. But I digress. Parking: a pain to find, but I heard now they charge for both street and private parking. Womp womp. I never had any issues with any of my neighbors, except this one stuck up chick who owns a husky and walks around like she owns the complex. Respectfully, f you if you're still there. As I write this, I realize there was a lot more cons than pros. Hope it helps! read more

The one unit I saw was unbelievably small - I don't remove stars for that, because nothing can be done about the original build long ago. Location is truly great: cozied in between Barnes Tennis and the slough, in a walkable location. A quick hop to I-8 and I-5, so that going anywhere is easy. My experience at the leasing center was perfect - very knowledgeable agent. Landscaping is beautifully cared for. Gated entry. I even met a couple of residents who were friendly and kind. read more

Be cautious with this place. The grounds are great and kept up well. The maintenance team is responsive to issues in the apartments. But the buildings don't seem to be kept up that well and some units are falling apart. The rent looks competitive but nothing is included with it so you have to add $250 to the rent per month for stuff that is usually free at other apartments. The gym is falling apart and most of the machines don't work. The pools are nice but the jets in the hot tub have been broken since I moved in. With all this space the amenities are very limited. No firepits or grills which is surprising. The parking situation is terrible so if you are planning on friends coming over they are going to have to try and find street parking on a street that it can be difficult to find parking on. Also, despite rent going down in San Diego this complex will still try and raise it on you every year. The lease renew I received was almost $300 more month then they are advertising for the same unit on their website. I offered to renew at the price they were listing on their site and they refused. I found an apartment across the street, that is basically the same size, where I will be saving $700 a month. read more

Parked in spot that is allowable for visitors while visiting. Not even parked for a whole day. The complex TOWED the vehicle without a warning, yet did not tow another car. Instead, they put a nice note on the other vehicle. I never got a warning. I will not recommend this complex to anyone. Front desk staff, Achilles, was not helpful. You should move into Mariners Cove only if every other apartment complex in San Diego suddenly disappeared into thin air. And even then, I would rather be homeless. I am disabled and use a wheelchair and I have been back and forth with them since 2014. I am just seeking reasonable accommodations and this place does not help anyone! Please look elsewhere!!! I've been on the wait list for 6 years now and I was one day late with my update which hadn't changed and she took me off the waitlist!! And this wasn't the first time! There are plenty of complexes that go above and beyond for the fellow man. Don't get sucked in because they had a dirt filled dog park and tennis courts! I have Lived in mariners cove for 4 years.I've had some issues with them. I've had flooding of my apartment and they did not reimburse me for anything that was damaged.And recently in the last month of March of 2024 I have been infested with mice.I have caught over 30 of them in my apartment. Mariners cove has yet to come and close the whole where they are getting in at behind the dishwasher. Marbell the manger has been no help. There has been no accommodations while they were getting rid of them. I asked for me to stay in a different location until the mice problem has resolved. I am a young single woman that was attacked in broad daylight on this property by a man who easily got supplies from a WIDE OPEN maintenance shed (per faculty they have gotten in trouble for keeping that shed open and look what it caused, but since my attack STILL nothing has changed). I have a police report from this incident and still fear for my safety since my attacker got chased out into the highway by maintenance workers (he is still on the run). Ive gone to the office in tears multiple times pleading to get out of my lease because of the trauma and emotional distress this situation has caused me and have sent countless emails but they are trying to charge me a termination fee and rent! To add to it I have a video (caught on my pet cam) of a maintenance man snooping around my apartment and leaning to open my bedroom door WHILE IM NOT HOME until he sees the camera and books it to the door and didn't return. All of my evidence has been sent to the office and they STILL they won't allow me to leave without paying all the penalties.. i'm disgusted and disturbed & may seek legal action. Day 1: Found an abundance of animal droppings under our sink. Hours later, see two mice run through our kitchen. After going to the leasing office we learn that pest control won't be able to help us for 7 days. 2 hours later, I see a pest control truck drive by the apartment but nobody came to help us. I called the leasing office 3 times and left a callback number and was ignored. We were also told that this was not common and we were the only people experiencing this but later find out that all of our neighbors are having the same problem. Day 2: we got in touch with maintenance and they give us 2 traps under the sink (the maintenance guys are great people). However, still no pest control (which we pay for in our rent). We captured 3 more mice on our own. Still no word from our lovely leasing staff. Do not move here unless you enjoy spending your weekends capturing mice with your bare hands. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have lived here since September and as soon as I moved in I wanted to leave. Right after signing my lease I was told I wouldn't be guaranteed a spot and no carport spots were available. They do not have enough parking spots for people living there. It also costs money to even be able to park in the complex even though you aren't guaranteed a spot. I have come home after 7pm a lot and there be literally not one spot available. They do a terrible job of monitoring "guest" parking and people parking here without permits. You are never guaranteed a spot near your apartment even if you request a carport spot. Someone also went around keying people's cars so I got a bunch of keyed markings all over my audi. The paint on the walls, cabinets and doors are so incredibly thick you can tell you do not take the time to sand down previous paint and redo it properly. My cabinets are all withered and warped at the bottom. There are giant cracks around the drain of my bathroom sink. The bathtub creeks every time I step in it and I am not a heavy person. I have to body slam my door every time I go into my apartment because the paint is STILL sticking to the wall and I've lived here for 10 months. The toilet is beyond "low flush" and just to flush toilet paper down the toilet takes two flushes. Trying to get any remourse or help form the property management is a joke. They do not care about your needs or your problems. I was told to "just pay with a credit card" when I was having financial difficulty during the COVID-19 breakout when it first started and I was unemployed. My dog was attacked by two cats with the owners present costing me over $2,000 in vet bills and the property management has done nothing to help me and nothing has happened to the tenants. They do not do a good job of enforcing the "no smoking complex" policy and people are constantly smoking weed and cigarettes by my apartment. They treat the back of the complex way worse than they do the front of the complex. There is a running joke that the back of the complex is "section 8 housing" because of how shitty it is. The grass almost never mowed and is like a foot tall most of the time. There are raccoons all that raid the trash cans at night because they do not close the dumpster lids. the dumpsters are always overflowing and people leave mattresses at the end of my street on a regular basis that just sit there for weeks. The gate is also a joke. It's broken most of the time and open so anyone can come in. They never change the gate code. Homeless people are constantly in the complex either trying to use the laundry rooms or syphening through the dumpsters for bottles and cans. Run far from this place. read more

BEWARE! Rats, cockroaches, mold, crazy people, awful management. I lived here for over 5+ years & COULD NOT wait to move out. The only issue was obviously finding somewhere cheaper than this place, but there was a reason it was cheaper than anywhere else locally to that location, PL/OB. Let's start with the issues with any neighbors. If you ever have issues with neighbors, Maribel does not care. I had a downstairs neighbor that would blast his bass all day/night long, hot box his apartment to the point it would fill my upstairs place (not in a good way), he would beat his gf, scream & yell. I had to call the cops multiple times, I couldn't hear someone getting beat and just stand by. Come to find out, the neighbor was mentally ill and getting his rent paid by the city/state because he was in a program for mentally ill people. Maribel didn't care about the safety of the tenants but was focused on receiving the rent money because God forbid she has to do her job & find quality people to rent to. Maribel and the leasing office let this crazy lady move in, obviously without doing much background research, because she kept blaming neighbors for causing a "high pitched sound" in her apartment, which she stated to them as well as to us that she had heard in her last apartment (not at Mariners Cove)...Yes, you read that correctly, the lady was crazy, heard things and caused issues with neighbors, including myself when she would yell random stuff up to my apartment when she would roll by. She eventually moved out after months of all of us dealing with her non-sense. ..With every complaint I or any other neighbor would make to Maribel in the front office, she did nothing. I lived there with 2 ESA dogs who were constantly getting sick & throwing up as well as not eating their food. Since I have moved out on July 1st of this year, my dogs have not been sick or thrown up and they have been devouring their food...PLEASE BEWARE IF YOU HAVE A DOG THERE...The front gate was always broken or always open, so for the "gated community" part of their marketing and what attracted me to there in the beginning was untrue. The exit side was always closed which made no sense. The entry gate was open all day everyday except for sometimes Mondays, because the office was closed. With the gate being open constantly, there were a lot of issues with homeless people coming in, drug addicts nodding off in the far back of the complex, theft & trash all over this place, that they would only clean up in the front because that is what you would see but would neglect the back part of the complex. Within the last year, they neglected to notify the community about a fire that started in an apartment that killed a tenants dog, which was not the tenants fault but was the lack of correct maintenance to the apartment, which if you still live there, prompted the new renters insurance changes...I asked multiple times for mold to be checked in my apartment because I had a moisture detector that would say the inside of my apartment had bad levels of moisture which in turn causes mold along with myself and my dogs getting sick constantly, which I previously mentioned about the dogs, so they would have their private mold company come out and "check." When I say the guy would come out to check saying he stuck things in the wall to check for mold, that was not what happened. Just because the one spot he checked didn't show moisture, does NOT mean there is not mold growing. There could have been previous water damage that had dried but mold will still grow. Not to mention that the new downstairs neighbor had found mold in the wall behind when he was getting work done (which the work should have been handled BEFORE he and his family moved in). If you still live there, hire your own mold specialist to come check, don't trust theirs. The stairs and railing up to mine and my neighbors apartment were decaying and maintenance & Maribel didn't take it seriously until part of the upstairs railing fell off almost hitting the new downstairs neighbors head. Mind you, the downstairs neighbor has kids and the kids could have been hit. My private balcony was falling apart & felt very unstable to go out on, which the last few months I lived there, they were going around fixing everyone's balconies and when the wood was taken off, you could clearly see the decay & MOLD. Good thing they started to fix them because that's a lawsuit waiting to happen. The whole parking situation is another monster. This last year they made every single spot inside the front "gate" numbered & if you wanted to park inside you would have to pay $60-65. They didn't think ahead to put any loading/unloading or 15 minute parking spots next to any laundry facility so we would literally have to park in the middle of the street with our flashers on to do laundry. The laundry facilities are DISGUSTING!! Each washer smelled like mildew and most of the washers and the dryers were broken. DONT MOVE IN HERE! read more

I do not recommend leasing here. Over the past few months I've had issues and unfortunately, when I contacted the leasing office I was met with animosity and I chose not to continue the conversation. I knew my concerns would not be addressed so I've been trying to contact the corporate office for over a week with no success. Among various other things, I've listed issues below: -My toilet runs intermittently since I moved in. It's been "fixed" twice, but it still runs -Mold growing in the bathroom and moisture damage to my shoes, which are kept in the bedroom (see pictures) -Patio falling apart and impossible to keep clean -Random towing and a threat to tow my car even with the fee I pay each month -Lack of communication. Many policies were not communicated on move-in, including the parking policy -2 packages stolen since I moved in 6 months ago - I can hear my neighbors stomping and slamming doors frequently - The shower changes temperatures randomly and will literally burn your skin Again I've tried to speak to someone. Think of it as a 12-month long vacation. I lived here for 2 years, it was not great, but it was okay. I treat an apartment as a place to sleep and keep my stuff, nothing more, because I do not own the apartment. Are your neighbors loud or leaving trash around the court yard? Well, San Diego is a party town after all, and a lot of people just pass through without settling down, so that just comes with the territory. - As a place to live, it was passable, The pool was always clean, no one ever broke into my apartment and it is a decent location (close to the beach, Barnes Tennis center,and the weather is comfortable). The counter tops and appliances felt a bit dated, but then again, I am renting for a place to crash, not a place to fix up, so I okay with a somewhat dated interior and appliances. My advice is, do not stress too much about the condition of the apartment, instead think of it as a spring board to something bigger and better. I plan on moving out of California, jobs out here do not pay enough to cover the ever increasing cost of living. If you were on a once in a lifetime type of vacation and wanted it to be memorable in a positive way, you would splurge for the 5 star hotel (and never stay there again). If you were to stay in a "5 star apartment" it would get very expensive, and no closer to buying property. Do not rent an apartment, as if you are on a perfect vacation, rent like you are a college student, live within your means and accept a less than ideal situation. Mariners Cove might be less than ideal, but it beats moving back in with your parents. read more

We tried to get out of our apartment because we believe it's an unsafe living environment and for that to happen, they're forcing us to pay $8,000 (4 months rent). I'm actually very disappointed because it's not like you're dealing with someone breaking an average lease... you're dealing with someone's mental state. Several issues with how quick the office is at responding. They now have each spot assigned, like every spot is paid for and bought from panic from this new parking system they started. I've talked to several people and they all hate it! The company that owns these apartments are just sucking up every dollar possible. I finally left this place! Maintenance scheduled me for a pre-move out inspection 3 times. I was stood up all three times. Not a call, note or smoke signal to let me know they couldn't make it. Truly unprofessional. When my move out date finally came, nobody showed up to do the final inspection. Shocker... I truly wish there was 0 stars!!!! The pictures I attached were the ones of the apartment I was told I was getting. I was so horrified when I saw my apartment I ran out and wish i had taken pics to show you the comparison!! Do not move there at any price! This place is horrible and will show you an apartment that looks like a model apartment tell you at the apartment you're getting minus a few things such as a different color cabinet and no built in microwave. Thank God I came by 24 hours before I was supposed to move in to take measurements. When I walked into my actual apartment I was shocked and horrified. First of all supposed to pick up my keys Saturday morning at 10 am went to take measurements on Thursday night at 5. There was another person that took me by the palace he was not the same one that rented it to me originally. When we got up to the apartment on Thursday evening even the guy said are you sure that this is the right apartment? We made sure it was the same apartment walked in and to my dismay there was still the last tenant stuff in the apartment outside the apartment the floors were thrashed the cabinetry was 25 years old the hardwood floors look like it has not been replaced in 20 years and all old appliances. When you are charging someone $1800 a month and telling them that their apartment is going to look like those attached and you walk into this you can imagine my horror. I ran so far away from that place and I recommend you do the same the place is a dump and they just think it is okay to do this to people and they will just take it. I had to pay to move twice once into a storage because I had already booked movers and gave my notice and another to move into my awesome new place that from the get go showed me my apartment in which I am paying less and it is about 20,000 times better than Mariners sweat box. Less than 600 sq feet and no air I really feel as though it worked out for the better and I am grateful I stood up for myself. But I have no paid 2x the amount for moving because of their lies. TRUST THE REVIEWS! And do not trust the website pictures this place is a SHITHOLE and they will do nothing to make it better. They will continue to charge RIDICULOUSLY HIGH RENT and ignore the concerns of their tenants. Buckle up bc this will be a LONG list of cons. CONS: Let's start with the reasons I moved in: Dog Park: My dog is my baby so I was SO EXCITED to hear they had a dog park she could go play in off leash and make new doggy friends. Well, by "dog park" what they actually mean is a sand pit full of fleas and feral cat feces. No grass.. just dirt.. sand.. that's it.. and a bunch of clumps of unknown animal fur matted all in the middle. GROSS.. I would NEVER bring my dog in there. If you're going to claim being animal friendly.. then BE FRIENDLY TO THE ANIMALS and maintain the park! (See pictures) Security Gate: being a single female moving into a place by myself, security was a huge deal for me so the fact they had security gates was a HUGE plus. Well, those security gates do a GREAT job (sarcastic tone) of keeping people out when they never change the code and everyone and their 5th cousins in San Diego know the gate code. I specifically asked how often the codes were changed and I was told every few months. What a lie. I have been here for three years and the code is still the same. They are also often broken or just left open 24 hours a day (as i write this review the gates have been left open for about 5 days) WELCOME EVERYONE!! so that the lovely homeless population of San Diego can come in and rummage through the dumpsters at all hours. Super great when my carport is right next to a dumpster and I come out in the morning to toothless hooligans literally swimming through the dumpster and pulling out trash. Disgusting and uncomfortable and so unsafe. Gym: now at first glance the gym looks to be absolutely top notch as far as apartment complex gyms go. However none of the cardio equipment works and the office will just tell you that a work order has been put in but they are not sure when they will be fixed. Well I was told this two years ago and guess what? They are still not fixed. One out of four treadmills Work (so good luck with that) and 1 out of 4 elliptical machines work. Not to mention all of the residents who use it do not wipe down machines after they have flung sweat everywhere. EEWWWW so because their gym does not work I have to go pay an extra $40 a month to drive to use another gym. Pools and spas: there are two pools and two jacuzzis. Pools are fine, no real complaints there but the hot tubs are another story. The jacuzzi at the main pool works, but MAYBE fits two full size adults. And the huge jacuzzi at the smaller pool is so disgusting. Not to mention that the jets don't work and haven't for about a year and a half. and the whole thing needs to be resurfaced (so don't wear anything but old crappy swimwear in there) And you're lucky if it's hotter than bath water. This place looks nice on the surface, but that is because that is the only thing they care for. I have had four neighbors since I've lived here and every time someone moves out all they do is repaint the front balcony. LOL look at the picture below to see what I'm talking about. There are probably 1000 coats of paint all over all of the buildings here instead of repairing what needs to be repaired. This place is full of cockroaches termites rotting wood and just seems super unsafe. The apartment next to me and the one below that caught on fire about eight months ago. They just now have started working on it. And to add to that note I happened to be out of town at the time of the fire and no one from the leasing office contacted me to let me know that my apartment could possibly burn down. Thankfully one of my neighbors informed me and kept me up-to-date on the damage. I have requested several times that my balcony be redone because it is completely rotted and things are falling apart. They have refused me. This place likes to spend the absolute least amount of money while pulling the absolute most amount of money out of our wallets to rent an apartment. I still have a month and a half left in my lease and I cannot wait to get the hell out of here. there are a few maintenance guys who are very friendly and helpful and for the most part maintenance is incredibly prompt when you put a service call in. But everyone else on the staff has a sourpuss and mean look on their face at all times. No one seems friendly. If you have made it this far I congratulate you. I urge you to look at other places before calling Mariners Cove your home. It may look nice on the surface but as you begin to peel back the thousand layers of paint you will see what crappy place this actually is. Trust the reviews. read more

I came from Las Vegas to visit my son and woke up the next morning to see that my car had been towed. No warning sticker. My car had only been parked for a few hours when it was towed. Not sure who called but whoever it was sucks as a human being. This bullshit cost me over $300. Received a reply from George saying that parking is reserved for tenants and their guests. My son is a tenant and I was his guest. Maybe a warning sticker for a car that's repeatedly parking there but my car was there a total of 6 hrs before the towing company that you let cruise your property towed it at 2am in the morning. Pretty shitty business practice. Wonder what the kick back is. read more

My roommate and I lived here for over three years and at first it was good but then the management company changed and it went downhill. I would give zero stars if I could! The gate almost never worked, the laundry rooms always had multiple machines that were broken, the plumbing was a nightmare, I never lived somewhere that lost power as frequently as we did here, the water temperature was either too cool or scalding hot (even if you didn't touch the faucet) and trying to get a response from the new management team was impossible. We've been moved out for almost a month now and still have yet to receive our deposit back... it was sent to the address we just moved out from, that makes zero sense and seems to coincidental to me. What would they do if tenants were no longer amicable after they move out? Sending one refund check is a terrible idea. We only stayed for three years because of the pandemic, because there weren't many other reasons to stay. Heed the warnings from all of the reviews, there's a reason there's so much turnover in this community! read more

On Thursday afternoon there was another attempted break-in in the apartment across the walkway from our complex. Management has not said anything regarding the arrest. Aimco doesn't care. When you talk to upper management all you get is corporate babble. In five years that we have been here this place has slowly gone down hill. The rotation of managers (5) in five years tells me that there is something wrong with the company. We are moving in five days. I pity those that have to stay. The resident are devastated... Instead of maintaining the beautiful trees, that give us shade. they decided to chop them down. The trees at one time ,were maintained every year. haven't been maintained for years... Rather just chop them down... My patio is so hot now, I can't sit out here during the afternoon. I did not want to rate them a 1. If I could it would be a -10. One of the WORST Managerment I've ever come across. This property manager should not even be allowed to be in her position. There are rules in the lease about things on your patio, dogs on leash, picking up waste from your dogs, etc. nothing is enforced and residence do whatever they feel like doing and don't get reprimanded or change is not implemented. The buildings are so old they are falling apart rotted wood hangs from carports and balconies are propped up by Support's because they're falling apart. there's dog feces everywhere trash all over cigarette butts and bottles of urine lined the Fenceline. Finally when it was time to move out, they would not even call back property managers that were asking for references. They would also not respond to any emails or phone calls, but I'm sure is out of spite. This management company is crooked and deceitful. Beware!!! Do not even think about this property. read more

I like the location, but the inside is ok. My sister stayed here for a 1 year so I was over a lot, the inside is standard for what she was paid monthly, but it did not come with ac. It had heat witch is nice but a/c is my hand down on the place, I will say it has all new appliances, that was a plus and the rooms right big enough and the bathrooms are good. It has a new paint job to it as well. I do recommend this place but a/c in all place would be better in my opinion. read more

I love the location and the structure is excellent, but it leaves a lot to be desired, security is very bad, everyone can enter and leave without any control, the cleaning is not the best and the office manager, Paige, very thick! They've stolen 4 bikes with a padlock and my neighbor's motorcycle. But the worst part and parking spaces have no control, we suffer a lot from it but for them it doesn't matter! read more

This place sucks. The management is so unorganized and very messy. They are doing a lot of construction right now to try and clean up the place because of all the complaining (which it's looking worse). We have to now move our car really far out of the way for a week. On Friday they didn't tell us to move the cars and so they worked on the roads. I came outside to get in my car to leave for work and my car that I just got washed had sooo much dust on it I couldn't even see on the windows. I went to the office on my way out and asked what chemicals were on my car, will it remove the paint or? And they said it was just sand, they were sandblasting the ground, my car should be ok. So then I had to get it washed again with my own money and the little sand particulars SCRATCHED my car! read more

I love where I live ! The staff & tenants are all friendly. Many of us have pets some have children. The office pool is heated all year. My neighbors are courteous also . I have met great people & so has my dog . The staff that has helped me are Maribel,the in office . Also Steve the electrician, James helped with plumbing a really nice young man helped put in my metal screen door . There are varied renters with different incomes , different races, nationalities ,sexual preferences & the landscape on the famosa slough is like living on a park land . Such a bummer that I have to write a poor review for this community because I had high hopes when I moved in. If you want to live somewhere that cares about the livelihood of your family and will do at least the bare minimum to care for you as a tenant- then this is NOT a good community for you. They won't even do the bare minimum. Their leasing office was a mess when I moved in (2 years ago), was a mess when they changed managers (she was super disrespectful) and now the old manager is back and still not doing a very good job of even responding to tenant concerns at the very least. I have had a very SERIOUS situation with our neighbors, to the point that I have had to contact the leasing office more than 5 times and cops multiple times. They have some sort of drug, partying, violence and abuse issue going on. It took me about 5 emails to the managers, walking in to the leasing office 3 times and emails to the AIMCO regional office for them to even address the issue and all I got was lies and false information about "inspections". My toddler is drastically affected in his every day by this and they can care less about helping us resolve the situation. I have even gone in there begging they help us. We've asked that they waive our lease break fee so we can get ourselves out of this situation and they aren't willing to help with that either. I do NOT recommend giving this terrible community your hard earned money. To top it off, in the past few months we've also had the same issues the girl below mentioned: -Mold all over my shoes and clothes and they said they can't identify there is an issue. -My friend's car got towed when the NEW parking policies were never announced to us. $600 dollars later since it was on a weeknight! read more

The windows and walls are so thin you can hear the plumbing and the gardeners EVERY SINGLE DAY. Staff and management are snakes and will charge you extra rent if they have your card on auto pay. Have had health issues over the past month to then find we had mold in our closet due to a leak in our closet. After notifying them, we then came home to our belongings tossed in our bedroom without any consent. They then told us they would put all our belongings back and they never answered my calls or emails. After sleeping in the living room for two nights, we finally decided to do everything ourselves. The mold, spiders, LITTLE TO NO communication with this complex is horrible. Do not live here. read more

Do not rent from this complex. Rooms and property are fine. They have a private tow company come and tow residents and residents guests on a nightly basis. They even have a flat rate for residents. They tow you from areas that are marked as public parking. If you are okay adding $200 every night to your rent for tows, then go ahead and rent. Otherwise, stay away. This place should be zero stars. It is a scam and awful maintenance and management. RUN read more
