I am so thankful for Dr.Pauk! He explained everything well and made me feel at ease. He even offered me heavy duty headphones when I mentioned that I'm sensitive to the drill noise, which I really appreciated. I could tell he genuinely cared about doing the best possible job on my teeth. He is a really great doctor and you can tell he takes pride in doing a great job, which gave me a sense of comfort as a patient. I felt good after both appointments, just some very slight discomfort similar to after having a cavity filled. I'm so thankful for my experience here. They said that my son needed a root canal and since they didn't take our insurance we were quoted an out-of-pocket price of $1299 which was paid in full on the spot via credit card. The procedure took longer than expected because Dr. Horsley didn't have the longer rods in stock, then sent my son away for an hour because she wanted to make a phone call and subsequently charged us for two visits. Two weeks later we received a bill for an additional $396 so I called the office to discuss and they refused to honor the original agreed-upon price even though Dr. Horsley acknowledged the verbal agreement made by her staff and subsequently took collections action against us for $503 (unscrupulously inflated from the additional $396 they demanded because $500 is the minimum amount that can be legally reported to collections). We have filed a complaint with the New Hampshire Office of Professional Licensure and Certification as well as the NH Dental Society. Please reply hear if you have experienced similar issues with Dr. Horsley as I wish we had been warned of this dishonest practice beforehand.

About 6 years after suffering a stroke that left me with very limited, if any, use of my left side, I was/am a current patient at Plaistow Oral Surgery to have a tooth extracted. I was not able , at the time to have a tooth replaced. I returned to have a consultation about putting in bone replacement and a three teeth back in three seperate areas in my mouth. I found Dr. Stiefle to be a very knowledgeable and professional Oral Surgeon. He went , out-of-his-way to explain every single step of the procedure to me & my husband to make sure I understood that my previous extractions healed very well allowing him to be able to perform the bone replacement in the 2 spaces , along with the replacement tooth and that the third space that has already had bone replacement will be able to place another tooth as well. I wasn't sure that I'd be a bike to afford it with all the pending/ overdue Stroke medical expenses, along with my recent diagnosis of Breast Cancer, while still not healed from my stroke, and underwent a full Double Mastectomy. Dr Stiefle and his energetic staff were able to put together a cost projection using my Dental Insurance and out-of-pocket $ that will work for me. They were able to make some adjustments on their end to save me some money and make this affordable- do-able for me based on my circumstances. Ultimately, I whole-heartedly rate Dr Stiefle and Plaistow Oral Surgery true 5- STARS! For once, in my life, I can honestly say that my Dr Stifle and Plaistow Oral Surgery consultation and treatment have been a true pleasure and I am very grateful for them and their integrity and professionalism. His philosophy, which is to provide complete dental care and not just deal with problems as they arise, is only part of the story. Despite this, I had liked the Dr. and decided to use him. Then, a few days prior to my appointment, I contacted the office to determine how much discomfort I would be in. Having never had major dental work, I also asked why it would take a month between my prep and actual crowns. I jokingly asked if the crowns were coming from China. The morning of my appointment, upon arrival, I was asked if I was vaccinated, because they have different protocols for vaccinated v. unvaccinated. I told her I preferred to not answer that question, that it was private medical information. Apparently this and the China comment (mostly this) offended the receptionist so much that they then claimed I had "attitude" and refused to treat me. Find a dentist that uses the same protocols for all patients and has more modern tech.
