I've been to universal studios plenty of times but always missed going to this place. It is a wonderful place to frequent if you have the time and have a season pass like I did. The food ordered were the 1-up green mushroom hot pocket vegetarian. It actually tastes like this hot pocket microwaveable pizzas you would otherwise get at the grocery store. But, the design, look and uniqueness of the food was delicious looking. I also ordered a pretzel with three sauces. This item was their best deal for a snack as it was about $10 and with the discounted season pass about $8 or so. It was cheaper than the mushrooms and drinks here. Also less fattening and less unnatural ingredients. I thought service was average and to be fair, isn't a pleasant job. The ambiance is cute and nice to look at. Great interior and exterior design throughout. The overall appeal and decoration were spectacular more or less. Good meal to have to keep you from getting lightheaded in this heat. For some reason, always crowded with tourists and locals. The lines even on a Friday morning were ridiculous. However, the lines even for this place was sort of okay. I rate the following below: 1-up mushroom 3/5, it was a unique looking hot pocket more or less Pretzel with dipping sauce 4/5, better value better taste simple and came with three decent sauces to overcome this bland taste by itself of a pretzel. There wasn't even salt on the pretzel. It was bready, but the sauces were great. Good comeback to bland. I would come back just to get the pretzel for its value and the three sauces that make up for the blandness the pretzel had anyway. It tasted fine texture wise, not too hard and not too soft.

The pretzel was really good and came with 3 dips, mustard, nacho and a white cheese dip. I was so hungry and forgot to take a photo but it was well worth it. The white cheese dip was my fav. The pretzel was in a cool fire flower shape and easy to pull apart for dipping. The drink was like a cherry 7up with boba. Refreshing and sweet.

I love popcorn in all flavors and was excited to get some for me and for my neice/nephews. It's a small store front in Azusa. But it looks like they stay busy- two people came in after me. The owner was in preparing a pre-order of 175 x-small bags of kettle lorn. Both the owner and the guy behind the counter were helpful, informative and willing to let me sample whatever flavors I wanted. So many to choose from. I ended up getting 5 bags (Windy City mix, vanilla cupcake, blue raspberry, buttery caramel, turtle mix) and started eating them in the car to my sisters. I love that all the bags are resealable except the x-small. The bags are made of a thick plastic and the reseals easily! The Windy City mix is the caramel with cheese. Keith said he's going to be making his Chicago style which has the buttery caramel and cheese but hasn't had time. That should be amazing. He has traditional caramel and the buttery caramel which takes longer to make. The vanilla cupcake is sweet-but I love sweet. Like a vanilla kettle corn with white chocolate drizzle! The blue raspberry wasn't too sweet and not my fav but I thought my 5 year old nephew would love it. The turtle seems to be like a light caramel corn with chocolate caramel drizzle. I'll definitely come by again and try more flavors! Maybe more savory ones next time.

I also requested strawberries, but they weren't included. I've attached a photo in my review comparing what was advertised to what I received, and the difference is huge. Also, keep in mind that the crepe pictured is after I asked the staff to add more toppings (pistachios). Before I requested that, it had nothing on top. Even after the extra toppings were added, it still looked nothing like what was advertised. Bon Bon (Dulce de Leche): 5/10 These were $3 each and had a cute design on the outside. I tried the dulce de leche flavor. It was very small, and while the taste was okay, it had a somewhat artificial flavor. Overall, it wasn't worth the price. Caramel Turtle: 7/10 A decent dessert with caramel, pecans, and chocolate. Nothing particularly memorable, but it tasted good. Amaranth Milk Chocolate: 3/10 The teddy bear design was adorable, but the flavor was very strange. The texture reminded me of Styrofoam, and it had an odd plastic-like aftertaste. I also felt like the employees were rushing us to leave the store, which made the experience less enjoyable. The interior was cute and well-decorated, but unfortunately the food and service didn't live up to the presentation. I wouldn't come back. Total (w/o tip): $31.25

This Super Mario-themed store is usually known for Toys, Kids' Clothing, Popcorn, Snacks, Drinks, and Fruity Cream Soda. I went to this store to try their viral Mario's Strawberry Soda, but my first two attempts to get this drink were not successful since they ran out of syrup due to high demand. And finally in the evening, I was able to get the viral Mario's Strawberry Soda. After my first sip, two words came out of my mouth right away - Overpriced and Overhyped! This was literally the worst drink I've ever tried in my life! The drink had a weird combination of Strawberry Syrup, Vanilla Ice Cream, and Popping Pearls. It was too sweet to drink, didn't go with my taste buds, and I couldn't finish it. The price was also too high, considering the quality of the drink, and not worth it.

They also sell the cutest headbands here! I didn't see headbands anywhere else in the park. Oh well, maybe one other place I did. The Character Store had a bigger selection of headbands though. I really wanted to grab the Boo ghost headbands. They were kind of pricy though. I passed on them. But I definitely grabbed a plushie! Drop by this store! It's worth a peek.
