Really impressed with this place. It's tiny with not a lot of seating, but we had the place to ourselves. We got a pumpkin and cheese ravioli and it was so good we went back to the counter and ordered bread just to dip into the sauce and eat it with. This place is nothing fancy, just delicious. We also got an appetizer made from chickpea flour, goat cheese, and prosciutto. The chickpea part reminded me of an omelette, but it came with a large quantity of prosciutto that I enjoyed eating. I wouldn't get this again, but there were many other things I wanted to try on the menu. read more

One of the few places you can get food to go in Italy, which was necessary when my travel partner got sick and I was on my own for dinner. Had the spinach and ricotta ravioli, which were tasty. A pretty generous serving size for 8.50 euro. The ravioli were well cooked, saucy, cheesy. Would recommend if you want some tasty ravioli. read more

Which was the only one of its kind I noticed in Rome. 10 minute walk from train station - so if you prefer to grab a bottle and bring food back to the hotel this would be ideal. The owner (I think) greeted us when we arrived and explained that this is a "laboratory kitchen" so they let you know that they don't really provide you table service, so you order at the front (if you dine in you pay at the front when you are leaving). They give you place mats, utensils, and glasses for your wine. Food took about 10-15 mins to come out with a sort of open concept kitchen (the cook was very nice). The ravioli was delicious - especially the pork ravioli. The meat and sauce were rich and good! The lamb ravioli was good as well, made with an olive oil sauce. This restaurant is located in a side street about a 10 minute walk from Cavour metro station. This area of Monti is vibrant with lots of places to eat and drink. I really enjoyed this restaurant because it is unique and different from a lot of the overcrowded tourists spots around town. It's definitely more hipster and I can see locals enjoying this spot. This places makes fresh take out dishes made from local ingredients. Their raviolis are homemade with a twist, they have interesting combinations of ingredients for different flavour profiles. You order at the front and pick up your food from the counter, you have a choice of sitting or taking your food to go. There is even a self serve espresso machine! This is a great place if you are tired of the typical Italian fare in the neighborhood. I highly recommend it! read more

My friend and I had just dropped our bags off at our apartment and the owners suggested a couple of names for options of lunch spots around the corner. We walked down the street they said, but figured we would just pick at random and see what was open on a Sunday for lunch. Luckily for us, this spot was open and we decided to just dive in and give it a go. It's a tiny little place, down a few steps from the street level. A friendly man greeted us from behind the counter and showed us the seating that was available. He asked if we'd been in before and then gave us a run down of how things work. Order at the front, give him your name, when he calls it out, you come up and grab your food. I found these instructions funny, as an American, because we're quite used to places like this. But then I realized, I may have just found the spot for "Italian fast food"- which isn't a piadina or a slice of pizza. Yes! We squeezed passed a couple of the other tables that were taken and took a high table in the back. Seating is not the best at this restaurant, but I was there just to eat and go, so we didn't really mind. And the food distracted us enough, not to care! Though, I think a place like this, may want to some day expand and get more seating, I seriously think this would be such a hit in the city! My friend ordered the mushroom ravioli of sorts and I had the meatballs. I'm officially on a meatball craving and need to make some soon to stop thinking about the ones I had here. Great sauce (and plenty of it!), super good meatballs, they gave us a bag of bread and we had bottled orange sodas. The price was right. I think I paid 8 euros for three good sized meatballs and the bread. It was seriously, the perfect lunch and the perfect size. This was one of our favorite meals after a couple of days of no such luck in other places. While we were finishing up, the restaurant was filled with the smell of delicious brownies. The couple next to us at another table, had just ordered two different desserts, so it looks like they know how to make a good plate of food and a fabulous dessert. I would have come back again if I had more time in the city. I will be sure to tell my friends about this, and anyone that I hear is headed to Rome. So charming! Love this place! My new wife and I stopped in here after another yelp favorite we tried was full. We found the right spot. Their ravioli are all fantastic. We had two different dishes, both creative and tasty. Their wine and food is all at a great price! Especially for Rome. It is carry-out, but they have tables for you if you want to eat in. Which is what we did. They had great old-school American music on the juke and even the owner and her co-worker danced and sang along to Elvis! My wife and I stopped in here for dinner while we were in Italy for our honeymoon. You order your meal and then pick it up from the counter when it's ready. The atmosphere was casual, modern, and relaxed which was a welcome change that we were desperately seeking after about a week of more formal dinners. We ordered wine, soup, ravioli, meatballs, and fishballs. All were fantastic (especially the ravioli and fishballs). The prices were more than fair as well. We had just come from the train station and dropped off our bags at our rental. It was after 14:00 so we decided to find someplace close by before lunch ended. We were so happy to come across this place. The man behind the counter spoke great english and explained that they were not a typical restaurant. You order at the counter and they call your name when the food is ready. Although this is common counter service in the US, it is unusual in Italy. The food was amazing. We had a guinea fowl starter followed by ravioli and meatballs. We also finished a bag of bread soaking up the sauces from our dishes. I suspect we will be stopping in for another meal before we leave Rome later this week. read more

Ate here on a whim and it we had a great meal. The ravioli were great. The cold cut platter was great. They don't have table service, but that wasn't an issue. You walk up and place your order then they make the ravioli to order. This isn't a fast food though since everything is prepared to order. Just had a great meal here this afternoon and would highly recommend it! The place is very small and you order from the window near the entryway, then they call you when your meal is ready. My wife had cheese and spinach ravioli and I had the meatballs with a bottle of nice Cabernet franc and everything was delicious. The bread was also worth getting, crispy and satisfying. It's a tight little spot but perfect for a romantic meal. I only wish I could go back! read more
