Jack was our DJ and he was incredible. Leading up to the wedding he was so chill, answered all of our questions, was so patient, worked with the venue to figure out the set up in advance, collaborated so well with our sax player, and during our actual wedding he made pivots whenever we asked him to. Even late night after our photographer left he captured some INCREDIBLE candid photos without us even knowing because he knew that there wouldn't be professional ones taken!! He went above and beyond. We actually found out about Apogee because we went to a family friend's wedding and they were the DJs which is how we found out about them. They're so kind, so responsive, offered so much guidance, etc. The DJ set up at the actual venue was understated and classy, Jack MC'd the event perfectly, we had a Photo Booth which was awesome.....they literally went above and beyond in every way. Their online planning tool is simply AMAZING and I could tell this wasn't their first rodeo. Allen provided some of the best customer service I have ever received in answering some questions and providing support regarding a unique situation with our wedding, and I knew it go off without a hitch. I had the pleasure of speaking with our DJ, Greyson, the day before our wedding and I could already tell that he was an awesome fit for our group. Greyson kept us on schedule, worked fabulously with our guests, took care of some last minute changes AND taught us a few moves on the dance floor. The best part? He didn't lose any steam when 2/3 of our guests left well before the end of the reception. He kept the party going up until the minute we closed things down. May I suggest that you use them when entering dog adoption kennels. The kennels can get very noisy. 2) Meet and greet areas are available for you to get up close and personal with the dogs. 3) One of the keys to a successful dog adoption is finding one whose energy level matches your own. A high energy dog and medium to low energy owner is not a good match. 4) Basic obedience training is a very, very good thing. Believe me, you don't want to be the one chasing your happy-go-lucky dog down a busy street after it got loose! The recall command (come) can literally save your dog's life.

Unfortunately out of my home she is so other dog aggressive she can't really go anywhere. She even jumped out of the window of my moving truck to attack a dog walking down the street. I called there behavior pet line twice asking for help with her behavior. They return the call, act like they care and say the will get back to me. Then they never follow up. About the age, the vet said she is more like 2. I cannot recommend this shelter.

Sure, there were some difficult years, the pay sucks, administration can come down hard at times; keep in mind that MWVCAA is a non-profit agency funded and controlled by the higher bodies of the government for operating funds. That said, during my time with agency, it went through 2 MAJOR operating structures - we lost a lot of employees, administration changes, etc. These changes were not based on employee satisfaction, but for the families in which the Agency serves. Administration ALWAYS had empathy as well as transparency to those who chose to keep an open mind for forward thinking within the agency. At the time that I left, everything was coming together after restructuring, expanding, administration changes. If you are only interested in your bank account, non-profits are not for you. If you have a genuine passion to serve families who can benefit through support and guidance toward a more independent and productive life, MWVCAA is a wonderful employer that offers a vast catalogue of benefits designed for the wellness of its employees. Why did I leave after 11 yrs? Personal reasons not connected with my employment.
