I think this place needs more staff and some upgrades. IT COULD BE A REALLY GREAT THEATRE. Which was initially an inconvenience for me (I typically go to the theatre 2-4 times monthly), as seating become less in each room. So for popular movies, I would often end up seated directly in front of the screen. On my last visit, tickets were being purchased at the concession stand because there was no staff at the box office. There's a potential security risk with no one checking bags at the entrance. Staff was limited at the concession center and staff overwhelmed with the dual task of ticket purchases, concession orders (which has expanded to the sell of blankets, plushies, and tumblers), and fulfilling/making food and drinks; they also now how personal pizzas and cheese sticks from Pizza Hut. I stood in the "concession" ticket line for almost 30 minutes and then moved across to the actual concession line where I stood for 20 minutes. Needless to say the movie had began by the time I made it inside. My son and I ended up doubling up in his recliner as mine was broken, leaning to one side, and only reclining about a fourth of the way. (This is the 3rd time in the past couple months I've seen a broken recliner but my first time actually unknowingly selecting that seat.) The theaters have also been less than clean. There are over 20 screen rooms in this location and they also have other mini concession areas on either theatre side, yet these have not been in use for more than 15 years. This location also only offers XD and should have some of the newer options like 4DX, RPX, IMAX, etc as they have the space for it. The arcade room is also pretty poor. I would be happy to see them expand this, along with a table seating (pub styled) area where you can come in and enjoy food while waiting for your movie to begin.

It's a nice place to go and watch a movie‼ The people are…read morenice & helpful. The seats are "AWESOME

For years, the public was amused with silent movies with live music on the Mighty Robert Morton Theatre organ, as well as subsequent movies with sound. The Temple still possesses 16/35/70 mm projection capabilities, and Manager/Projectionist Roger Smith is eager to resurrect the film era. The inside of our lovely auditorium is shown below. The Temple Theatre is a time capsule that everyone should see. We won't reveal too much, but everything here, from the catacombs to the dressing rooms, is authentic (except for the carpeting, main floor seats and some of the parquet flooring). There are tunnels and catacombs leading to an original Cold War fall-out bunker. When there isn't a live stage play, we normally show recent movies on our massive 40-foot screen. Local artists such as Meridian Community College Student Films and other local artists are encouraged to showcase their skills here. Call us or drop in for a tour. You will not be disappointed.
