I have had the same vet tech multiple times, and I appreciate the consistency. The online pharmacy they use tends to be cheaper than other options. Everyone at Marion Veterinary Hospital was so concerned about my Pooch!!! He was so ill and when I made my appointment on the website(fantastic feature) the night before;I received a call early the next AM because they were so concerned and wanted to see him earlier. I am new to the area and it was so comforting to have that support when your Pooch is hurting. He is my child and I didn't want to see him in pain. He was treated royally and it was amazing by nightfall he had made a 360 degree turnaround!!! We brought our Husky here for treatment, after failed visits with a different Vet Office, not affliliated with this office. On the first visit we met Dr. Bailey, and Callie the Office Manager. The were both extremely professional and kind. Dr. Bailey examined our boy, whose name is Dakota. He gave us his honest opinion and what he thought needed to be done. Dakota was diagnosed with a tumor inside his nose. We don't know if time lost by the first Vet Office would have given Dakota any more time. Unfortunately, even after multiple treatments, our precious Dakota passed. We cannot thank everyone at Marion Vet Hospital enough!!! Your treatment and kindness you showed to Dakota is surpassed beyond measure!! Also, your kindness shown to my husband on the day Dakota passed is very appreciated. This review is for Dr. Mercedes Sanchez, never in my life have I had such a horrible visit from someone like you, who is calling them self a " Professional ". I hope you remember remember Savannah, from June 28, 2023 when you were working part time at Marion Veterinary Hospital, for euthanasia, we were there at 10:15am for our appointment and finally left at 12:40pm..... The amount of time you took to put her down and all the time you took to put the needles in which didn't work and had to try again in another leg which you used two front and finally her right rear leg twice. You made her walk from the back room to the room we were waiting in and the needle fell out of her leg then you still tried to push the medication in and it all came out, in which Savannah barked and whined in pain.... As far as I'm concerned you should be ashamed of yourself for putting Savannah and us through the pain and suffering and heartache you caused us, then after she was gone you cleaned up all the extra needles and bloody bandages then left and didn't return, I had to peek in the room where you were to say we were leaving, and not even a word from you.... You are not a professional, you are more like an amateur, and I would caution other people who are having too go through this to go elsewhere... I love this office. Everyone is very nice. Unlike some other practices in the area, they are able to either get you in that day or actually refer you into someone who can see you that day, which is critical when an emergency crops up. They usually have appointments within the next week or so for routine visits, too. Sometimes you do have to wait a bit, but I haven't found an office where that isn't the case (especially when things like cultures and tests have, you know, have a set timeframe for the results to appear which are bound by the laws of physics and chemistry). read more

Poor customer service. Trying to tell me that 2 visits are required for a dental appointment. OH COME ON! That's ridiculous. The exam should not take more than 15mins. Walk in, doctor listens to pet (no murmurs heard), bloodwork is run, and dental done. All in the SAME day. You lost business today because of this. That's what $1000-$1200 in revenue losses. The worst place ever!!! Went here to take my 2 poodles. I waited about one hour for Vet overall was there for 3hrs. The Vet David Kollins is so cracky. He gave my Minature poodle her vaccines but not the rabies because they are not due until May. It would have been so simple to come back in May get all the shots but no I have to pay again to see a Vet for the shots. Be careful of what they want to sell you always check Amazon first. I bought a small bottle for my doggy paws it cost $27.50 found it on Amazon for $7.50. They are out just to get your money!!! When I asked for a refund they couldn't do it had to get a credit. I found it very odd that this place is so empty. Apparently there was a very good Vet Dr Jonathan H. but he is not there anymore.
