Had a hiccup & needed to have our home move in ready prior to move out. Called Mario mid-week and within a couple days he was already at our home to inspect and provide a quote for us. He came very next Monday to begin cleaning. He provided window cleaning, carpet cleaning & move in ready cleaning for the entire home. We had our house inspection & the property company said their business got everything that other cleaning companies usually miss for move in ready cleaning! So I will start by saying that I am leaving this review because of an interaction my partner and I had with someone driving the company truck for this business. I have not used this service, however, the worker driving the truck made a lude remark to us. My partner gave a friendly honk to ask the driver to move more to the right so we could turn left and go around him. He got angry thinking we were angry. When we finally squeezed to the left ofhim he was angry and made a rude remark. My partner said "I just needed you to move over so I could get by" to that he responded "F*@k you b@$ch" and drove off. I saw some of the reviews that Mario was a no-call/no-show, and I thought maybe he had improved his business. I regret to say that he did the same to me. I needed house and carpet cleaning by Sunday, and I called Mario on Tuesday. He scheduled me for Saturday morning. I was nervous that he scheduled me at the last minute, but I went with it. I knew he was flaky, because of the reviews on this site, and so I texted him during the week to confirm that we were on for Saturday, and he confirmed. The morning of Saturday, I texted him an hour before the appointment letting him know to call me if he has any trouble finding the home. Our appointment came and went with no word from Mario. I called repeatedly and it went straight to voicemail. He stopped replying to my text messages. He simply did not call, and did not show up for our scheduled appointment. If you need your home cleaned by a deadline, I strongly advise you not to use Mario's House Cleaning. You might get lucky, but chances are, it will happen to you too. I DO NOT recommend here! I hired Mario for house cleaning on Sunday morning at 8:30am. Nobody showed up until 8:45am so I called. He said nobody can't come because they are all sick. Okay, I understand. That could happen. He said he can come next morning at 9am for window cleaning then will come back at 1pm for house cleaning and carpet shampoo. So we set up the schedule again. Next morning, he didn't show up again until 9:30am with any calls. I texted him and asked why he's not showing up and he replied, "it's raining." Then he texted, "I'll be there in 20 minutes" without any apologies or excuses. I canceled the service. I don't know if they are good at cleaning, but he's very unprofessional in his business. I called to schedule an initial cleaning and repeat service for my two bedroom two bath condo and the gentleman that I was talking with said I asked too many questions. Apparently requesting their insurance and license information before giving the keys to my house was too many questions. I also requested an idea of the price and he was unwilling to give me any type of range in price. Either he does not have a license or any insurance or he's afraid his prices will scare me away. I would not recommend them! Terrible customer service and unreliable. Completely screwed me over. I would give a no star if I could. Called and left messages with no call backs. Call 1 last time and they said they could do a deep clean for my small studio at the end of month before I move out. Tried calling back to schedule the date with no answer. They finally txted me back.. They couldn't do a walk thru for a quote Thursday or Friday after I get off cause it was too late. They told me to send them pictures and they would give me a quote and they would be there to clean Saturday around 1 or 2. Sent them the picture. No answer, no quote, nothing. I txt them again Friday asking for the quote, no answer. I txt them again Saturday morning, telling them I would see them around 1 or 2. Still no response.. I txt them again asking for the exact time so I'm there. No response once again. I call them at 12:30 trying to find out the time, no answer again. Then someone calls me back and they "can't" find my house, so I give them directions. I find out they were coming to give me a quote not to clean. After all that. Something about a misunderstanding and that there is only 1 cleaning lady and that she probably wouldn't get to it today and they are off Sundays. He says he is going to contact her and see of she can do it after her job and that he would get back to me but I might want to find another cleaning service just in case. I never heard from them again. I needed my place cleaned before Monday for my walk thru. How am I going to find a cleaning service on Saturday afternoon before my walk thru? I'm not. Mario and his crew came last weekend and did a deep clean in our big home. We moved in to the house about 1.5 years ago and had never had it deep cleaned. He had 5 workers at our house for 5 hours. When they were finished, our house was sparkling clean with a fresh clean scent! (No bleach or funky chemical smells at all!) I had called around the area and they offered the best quote. It ended up being a little more than we expected, but it was so worth it because of the amazing job they did. We hired Mario and his crew to clean our apartment after we moved out. Overall he did a great job cleaning, but the communication was a bit rough. We thought he was going to show up in the morning, but instead he showed up in the afternoon. We thought for a while that he bailed on us because we had a heck of a time getting a hold of him on his phone. Getting him the payment was tricky too because his timing was off from ours. The gentleman who arrived finished my carpet in about 45 minutes and advised me that he would leave me a fan and come back to assemble the desk-- he did not do either. This is my first "bad" review. I found Mario on Yelp. I even read the reviews saying he doesn't show up. I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. Called him and he answered. Told him I needed a move out clean this week. He told me he could do it. He wanted to see the place first. I made an appointment and left work early. I even texted him an hour before to confirm. No response. Went to the house. No Mario. Called twice. Second time he answered and gave some excuse about being far away and then said he had a flat tire. Hard to believe since the first time he answered I could hear him laughing and talking. I understand that things happen. I would give a zero if I could. We had them clean hour house, windows, carpets, and do some outside work. They are way over priced, missed several windows, didn't clean the over cleaner out of the oven so it started smoking when I turned it on. The cleaning was adequate but the thing that disturbed me most was the way that he and his wife talked to their help, a very young girl that did not speak english. The wife came into the house, never introduced herself , very rude and entitled. She then left and waited in the car with 2 teenagers. This was after the initial cleaning and I needed to call Mario back because a few obvious things still needed to be addressed. Was completely turned off by his attitude and behavior. Mario said he will be there at 8:30 and showed up at 9:00, they are the worst and cleaning was sub-par and doesn't do what he says or promises. Charged $180.00 more then he said and he had to use cold water to clean the carpets, because they were soaking wet for 2 days. I would avoid him at all cost or if your unhappy with the job don't pay him, that what I should have done until I was happy. They say they will back but never show back and says he will be there at a certain time and no show. read more

I hired Mario about a year and a half ago to do a "deep clean" to my house before I moved in. He had a lot of good reviews at that time and was available on short notice. I didn't write a review at the time because I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. However, her I am, with the results and experience still gnawing at me all this time later. I decided I should just tell it like it is at this point. Generally, the job was just not that good. Part way through the job he said it would cost an extra $130 to do the kitchen floors properly because he needed a different machine. We agreed, but the end result was still not a good one. There was smoke on the bricks above the fireplace and when I noticed they were not cleaning that I was told they didn't include that and that it could not be cleaned, I would have to paint it. While they were still there, I got out the scrubbing bubbles and cleaned it myself. It was a perfectly acceptable job, but they said it could not be done and refused to do it. The third big thing was our hardwood floors. This is an older house and the floors are not perfect, we did not expect perfection. We asked what he would do with the floors before he even began and he said they were included in the price he quoted. Again, part way through the job he started asking how we wanted him to treat the floors, he offered options and proceeded to, right in the middle of the room and without asking, to use a rag to show us samples of some treatments he could use. Then he went on to tell us none of these options would look good and that we should talk to his friend who "does floors". Within an hour "his friend" was at the house, saying they could not be refinished and that she wanted to replace the floors at incredible expense. At this point we put the brakes on and said no new floors, no refinished floors. When Mario returned to pick up his cleaners we told him we just wanted one of the options he had sampled on the floor earlier. He then said he would not do any of those procedures because it would not be a good result. So he left, without treating the floors, and we were left with a big oily looking spot in the middle of the floor. Every time I walk down the hall I see the spot and think of how terrible that cleaning job was and how much I feel like a sucker for paying him to ruin our floors. There were other things that were inadequate as well, really too many details to enumerate. Over all, it was a horrid experience. I wish I had never paid him to to anything here. The cleaning was just a regular house cleaning, nothing "deep" about it, except for the deep oil spot left in the middle of the hallway. read more

Mario and his staff are super efficient and left my house looking spotless! I have had them out several times now, once for a deep thorough cleaning . I would highly recommend them to anyone that values time and a clean house. I use to clean houses in high school with my family and we were super neat freaks at our job and I know how to value a cleaner's time. Mario's crew is the same with great attention to detail, they immediately get to work and are moving fast the entire time without any negative impact on the cleaning. I agree that Mario can be a bit hard to get a hold of. But I would rather be persistent and pin down a good crew that I can trust in my house. He is worth the extra couple phone calls.
