I went and looked at the beer options and was really impressed to find some beer that I wouldn't find in a grocery store or at Beer on the Wall in Park Ridge-good beer goes fast down there, but this place has so many great options, not just beer. Sure, things are not all chilled to take and drink right away, but a large selection of beer and wine are available cold. Nice they're ok with dogs, as my mom was happy her dog Apricot welcome while she shopped. The wonderful masked woman at the even found a plastic cup to give our pooch a drink. We will be back to support this much needed small business in Edison Park.

So he had me reprocess the order ($249 with tax) and assured me that he had it in stock and that if I provide my address, he will have it delivered to me. Told him that I will pick it up myself instead. 8:25 PM: Received an email saying my order (which was confirmed by Nick & was even ready to deliver the bottle to me) got declined....due to "insufficient stock on hand" 8:26 PM: Called the store back; this time I got connected to the GM. He first said that they do not have any in stock. Then when I pushed back with what the other manager (Nick) had told me, he put me on hold only to came back with a slightly different way to tell me that they do not have it in stock. As far as I am concerned, this looks, sounds, smells like GMs holding inventory for their friends/families which is completely bogus. If you have zero intentions of selling items to your customers, then do not put them on your website for purchase. I have been a loyal customer of Garfield's for over a decade and unlike couple of their other locations, this one in Norridge seems to employ shady managers who blatantly lie to their paying customers. Delivery to our venue had no issues and they also pick up all the leftovers at the end of the night. To speak on their efficiency, the very following Monday after our wedding, that emailed us about our refund and what leftovers we had. Any items that were not opened was refunded back to us and any items that were open/chilled/damage, they set aside in the back of their store so we could pick it up from them after the wedding which was great! High recommend using their services!

Their retail store has a huge selection of spirits and wines. Prices are slightly higher than some "Box" stores but if you sign up to be a CAP member,prices are reduced on some items. Their Warehouse Wine sale was super crowded in a separate warehouse with thousands of cases of wines at reduced prices. They did offer free tastings of many of the wines on sale . If you love wine Schaefers in definitely the place to go when in the Skokie area.

I haven't ever had something like it and now I'm going to have to find a recipe in case I have some reason to bring something a little atypical to a party. My friend mentioned that they had some sort of dip contest a while back, and after checking out their instagram it looks like this may have been one of the winners. Well deserved! Unless I missed something, parking is mostly on the street. There's a small parking lot that's shared with the car wash. Luckily, this is Norwood Park, and the street parking isn't too difficult.
