Great food and wonderful decor for FIFA watching. Very nice server. Food came out fast. Had a lot of flavor.

Wow this place was amazing! As soon as we walked in, it smells and looks clean which is always appreciated! Portions are shareable and prices are super fair. We got the mar y Tierra and rate it a 8/10. The tacos dorados de Camaron were a 10/10! The ceviche was also a 10/10! Service was also amazing our waitress was nice and attentive. When we are back in town we will definitely return!

Was in the mood for some seafood and saw this place took over the old mariscos place and I'm glad they did! Plenty of parking and ample seating! Ordered the Navolato When we picked up the food we were not expecting the amount of food! Plenty to share. They give you a whole bag of tostadas, forks and tapatio packets. The seafood was phenomenal, love the taste and how refreshing the meal was. Will come back for the ceviche! Or to order the same thing again, it had a bit of everything!

Mariscos El Moreno is a great spot for seafood lovers in La Puente. The food is delicious--this time we tried the tacos dorados de camarón, the sushi, and the botana de ceviche with shrimp, octopus, tuna, and salmon in salsa morena. Every plate was flavorful, fresh, and honestly everything on the menu tastes good. Another big plus is that the plates can easily be shared, since the portions are generous. It's a good place to come with family or friends so everyone can try a little bit of everything. The service is excellent. The waiters are friendly, helpful, and always attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-oriented, making it a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy a meal. They have tv's in case you want to catch a game and have some good mariscos and a bomb Michelada. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get, and the drinks are great, I personally like their maracuyá drink, which is delicious and refreshing and the Micheladas. Overall, it's a solid spot for quality mariscos, great service, and plenty of food to share. Recommend everyone to try this new spot of Mariscos in La Puente.

Mariscos El Moreno ceviche and sushi rolls!!!!

Mariscos El Moreno is easily the best seafood I've had, no question. Everything tasted super fresh and full of flavor. The ceviche and aguachiles were --perfect balance of spice and lime, not watered down like other spots. Portions are solid too, you definitely get your money's worth. The vibe is chill, nothing fancy, just good food done right. You can tell they know what they're doing. I've tried a lot of seafood spots and this one is on another level. Definitely coming back.

Aaaamazing Sinaloa style Mariscos!!! Place is always clean and service is always great. Their Negra sauce is (chefs kiss) I usually add to ceviche or the jaiva! The consistency of the jaiva is like a spaghetti which is so nice and adds great consistency to the flavors. Their seafood is always fresh and large. One of my favorite places to eat!

Saw that this place just opened and wanted to give it a shot. We ordered the Navolatos for takeout and I am thankful that was the only thing that we ordered because it was a tray of ceviche, raw shrimp, octopus and raw scallops and it comes with a bag of tostadas. Everything was really good and the ceviche was one of the best that I have had.

First time eating here. The food was DELICIOUS, we ordered, Camarones Costa Azul, Mar y Tierra molcajete, camarones y pulpo a la diabla y camarones culichi! The flavor was perfection. Price was good for the amount of food you get. Highly recommended.

    The best octopus plate ever!

If you're craving seafood that slaps harder than your tía when you talk back, Mariscos El Moreno is the place. I came for tacos, and I left spiritually fulfilled -- and possibly slightly over-salted (in the best way). Let's start with the Octopus: it's so spicy it made me question every life decision that led me to this point. Tears? Yes. Regret? Absolutely not. The asada guacamole was next-level -- Whoever is back there cooking deserves a raise, a hug, and a trophy shaped like a lime wedge. Only downside? You might have to unbutton your jeans halfway through your meal. But hey, that's the price of greatness

What a unique experience!…read more Grilling, bbq-ing, etc is a norm but steaming your food on the table? Now that's something else! I really enjoyed the dinner I had, they offer lots of options, from freshly made buns, dumplings to fresh seafood. The menu is pretty extensive and they also offer cooked dishes from the kitchen. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They made sure we get the best experience as it was our first time dining at this place. We had the big eye fish as they called it and they steamed it at the other empty table because our buns and dumplings were steaming at the same time to save time. They finish the fish at the kitchen with the hot oil and sauce. We also had the pork and shrimp buns, and beef dumplings. They were delicious! You can make your sauce at the station too and they provide good options. We also got the baby oysters appetizer that was soaking in some sort of light soy sauce marinade. Also got the soft shell crab and you get 3 whole crabs for $10! It was so worth it! The whole restaurant looked clean and inviting. The booths were spacious. I would definitely come back here and try other dishes!

The meat was sweet and tender, and the sauce had a nice balance of savory flavor without overpowering the natural seafood taste. You can tell the quality of the seafood is solid. The sea urchin egg custard was super smooth and silky. The uni added a rich, slightly briny depth that paired really well with the delicate steamed egg. Definitely a standout if you like uni. Each dishes had its own highlight. Ambiance is modern and clean, giving a slightly upscale seafood house vibe. Service was decent and the food came out nicely presented. Prices are on the higher side, but for fresh seafood and quality ingredients, it feels reasonable for a special meal. Would come back again to try more of their live seafood options.

My family said to arrive at 10 AM because it gets really crowded and of course around 10:30 AM it was definitely crowded. The wait time range from 30 minutes to an hour depending on your party size. This place still has carts where the staff would push carts around and serve the dim sum dishes around the entire restaurant and you get the pick and choose, and whichever you choose, they will stamp on your paper form and it'll be added up within the end for your total. We ordered a ton of different dishes. My favorite were the shui mai, it was actually everyone's favorite. I also enjoyed the pork spareribs, chicken feet and sesame ball. Unfortunately, the inside of the restaurant did have an unusual smell. I laughed when my son said it smelled real bad inside and had to remind him to be respectful as we are not too sure why it smells like mildew or off water. It was also so loud and a bit chaotic that I felt super rushed eating for some reason I think the combination of everyone moving around talking loud and the off smell wasn't a good experience for me. Overall, it was a bit expensive. My family did pay a pretty big price, but we had a party of 10. The restaurant also had plenty of live fish and other crustaceans for seafood dishes and they are displayed near the entrance. I am not sure if I would come back on my own just because of how chaotic it was, but my family does enjoy coming here for nostalgia reasons and I do enjoy being around them here. In the morning, this plaza has plenty of parking near the end, but it can get really crowded once it gets towards lunchtime around 11 or 12Pm. If you do come, the elevator is always being used so try to use the stairs if you do not want to wait long the plaza is full of various stores and there's more parking underground, but luckily it was so early that we were able to find a parking space nearby.

Hi Today July 3rd…read more2026 Friday, we experienced the most ridiculous customer service at your location City of Industry. My husband & I always go to this location, we are not a first timer but we always go there alot. You don't have cups for the water, the manager Lylet Granados offered us a small soup bowl. It is definitely insulting, we are not there to ask for free water, we ordered food, we would like to dine in and enjoy our Friday but you not having cups for the water is not the customer's fault. As a restaurant it is your job to make sure cups are available for customers. It would not be fair to buy a cup for the soda when we don't drink soda and we only drink water. Escalating the issue with the manager didn't help, she didn't offer anything to resolve but she keeps in insisting to offer the small soup bowl. I even asked if she can give us one cup, we just need a drinking cup not a soup bowl. But there's soda cups available. She didn't offer bottle water for purchase and we are willing to pay extra for water bottle. This is very degrading!!! Now, my question to the corporate office .. Is this how you treat your customer? To drink water from a small soup bowl like a dog when there's soda cups available?!!! Small soup bowl is different from drinking cups. You probably one of our favorite place to eat but customer service counts alot. What is the point of having a manager when she can't think out the box? She can't decide to do the right thing for the customer, no critical thinking in situations like this. She told us across the board all location you don't have cups for the water which is a lie because we called Brea location and they have cups for the water. Manager is Lylet Granados should be re trained or needs corrective action for insulting customer. Not sure why would she think it's OK to drink in a small soup bowl. She needs to know difference between bowl and cups. We are expecting a refund on this and we hope you refund us right away!!! We will never ever come back, definitely we will reach out to the Corporate Office!!
