Their house sauce mixes Cajun, lemon pepper, and garlic butter for a "whole shabang" very similar to their major competitor. Shrimp were nicely cooked, I'd highlight suggest the deveined. My brother got sausages and potatoes with his bag. Along with the fries, these were nothing to write home about, but the side of ranch was notably delicious. Parking lot offers a lot of space, nice storefront, no frills experience. Abundant alcohol options, and a unique claw machine component to the experience. First and foremost, I am not an individual who usually leaves reviews but this had to be said! We came in to celebrate a special occasion with my family -- something we wanted to mark with a nice dinner. We chose this place to avoid long waiting period at Boiling Crab. Instead, we got over an hour of waiting despite being ahead of other parties on the list when our original wait time was 25 minutes. We watched multiple groups who checked in well after us get seated first. When I asked the host to explain, she just told us that they messed up and we needed to wait another 30-45 minutes on top of what we'd already endured. No attempt to make it right, nothing. This isn't a matter of being short-staffed on a busy night, it's a basic failure of order and fairness. If you can't run a waitlist correctly, you shouldn't have one. The staff clearly need better training, and management needs to hold them accountable for how guests are treated. We ended up leaving and celebrating at Boiling Crab and sat within 15 minutes of arrival. Keep in mind, it was very busy and still had a better experience. Won't be back, and I can't recommend this place to anyone who values their time. read more

I've been to Boiling Crab and other restaurants with similar concepts so it's not my first rodeo. Wait time for a Friday night dinner at 6:30 pm was about 30 minutes. Not terrible considering Boiling Crab and Kickin' Crab always has a 2+ hour wait. We ordered the two mild combos for 4 since we had a relatively large party and it was enough to feed 10 people. I don't like the flavors compared to other franchises. It felt like they didn't let it sit in the marinade long enough so it was bland and just slid off the shrimp. The potatoes and sausage weren't bad. It just wasn't anything stellar. The sweet potato fries were the saving grace and pork rinds were just ok. The staff was also very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Very good seafood boil with tons of flavor! Don't be afraid of the spice levels either, it isn't actually that spicy. I would recommend getting a side of rice because of how flavorful the sauce is. Also they do not do half pound increments with any of their food. Very comparable to Boiling Crab and I would even say it might be better, with less of a wait at the right time. 05/18/2026 1 star for customer service because I had clearly told the server we wanted to claim the free appetizer by posting to our Instagram story and she failed to tell us until we asked for our check that the offer was only valid from 2:30-5:30pm. The manager refused to take an appetizer off the check. I don't see why we would be given the menu for the weekday specials if it was no longer eligible. If we had known, we wouldn't have ordered an appetizer on top of the 4 we already had. It also took us nearly 40 minutes to get the check and a togo bag for our leftovers. AND we didn't notice until after leaving that we were charged 18% gratuity even though we were only a party of 5 when the menu says for parties of 6 or more. It was our first time here and we were beyond happy with our experience. Amazing food and great service! We were a big group of 11 on a busy Sunday but only waited about 25 mins to be seated. This was a pleasant surprise! It's so spacious inside and they have more tables in the back for large parties. We celebrated our dad's birthday here and had the best time. Our server was Feng and although he was busy, he was extremely attentive and so helpful!! He made a great dinner even better with his great service. Thanks Feng! We got lots of different food/combos including their shrimp, whole crab, crab legs (snow and king), and lots of appetizers. Out of the appetizers my favorite was the fried oysters. Sooo good! Coming inside seems pretty chill moderate noise where you can hear everything around but still can be able to converse with the people sitting at the table with you. We got the appetizer which were chicharrón , gumbo and chicken tenders as well 6pc raw oysters. The chicharrón came out first which to me 7/10 had a lot of Chili seasoning bit sour but crunchy Second that came was the gumbo 9/10 flavorful as well was good with the chicharrón Then came the seafood boil that came in the bags but what was forgotten was the boiled eggs we got them after a couple bites into the seafood. 9.5/10 definitely flavorful and the medium spice is not to spicy to have ur nose runny and unbearable to eat Then came the raw oysters wish they did it steam tho would have made it great honestly. But it was still decently good. The drinks I got an Arnold Palmer but that had to be the most awfullest drink I've ever had. Idk if it's the machine or what it is but it was just disgusting The orange Fanta my gf had taste carbonated. Overall it was a good experience beside the drinks, but they also provide you these tokens to play at the claw machine and if u win a stuff you have it added to ur plate which was what I was told by my gf. Grab a Crab had added more sides since my last visit. It's nice to see restaurants expanding their menu options and exploring more choices. They've also added more themed decorations around the restaurant, cute! We've added the fried corn and chicharron to our order. The corn was well-seasoned and is definitely my new personal favorite. I like this place, genuinely. The food are great and the prices are cheap. I used to go there all the time. (My lobster, Potato, Sausage plushies are proof of how many times I went considering how hard it is to win their claw machine. ) However, some of the time, the service is have been off. Sometimes there's only one server who's doing their best. Sometimes the server is not nice to you. Sometimes they would forget what you ask for and never brought it (which had happened to me at least 3 times.) One of the instances being last year, I brought my friends there for lunch and the server was genuinely passive aggressive for nothing, saying jokes like we are not gonna tip. When I was trying to pay with card, the server was like, wait, and she tapped the No Tip button THEMSELF and gave me the iPad back. I still left the server $20 cash. Now, I don't want to play the victim and be "omg they're being mean to me" but it happened the same the last time I brought my family for my birthday dinner. The server would just constantly ignore us while they serve other tables. Second instance would be when I brought my friends who only eats halal, I specifically told them my friend cannot have sausage in her bag, but they can pack them on the side (because I would eat it), they ended up bringing the sausage in the bag, which my friend couldn't eat. And they never gave us the 2 rices we ordered. I don't see those servers around anymore so I guess that is a good thing at least. However, this place could really improve by hiring better staff and sensitivity trainings. read more

Every bite was delicious. The garlic noodles really yummy too, garlic not overbearing . The crispiness and flavor of the calamari & chicken tenders were just right. The chowder is excellent! It was actually pretty good. We were a group of 4 but got the meal for 2 deal and it was such a great deal! We ordered an extra appetizer and it filled us all up. It's decently priced if you get the meal deal but if you order separately, it could get pricy. I think it compares to boiling crab and other seafood boil places. Service was okay. Upon being seated, you will be give free tokens to play their claw machine! If you're able to win a plushie you are able to keep that plushie for free or get that item for free! (i.e if you win a corn, you get a free corn or just keep the corn plushie). Super unique and I absolutely loved the idea! Although I love the concept, I felt that their seafood boil was subpar. We ordered the combo for 4 which include 4 picks of seafood, 2 sides, and 2 appetizers. The spiciest level was not spicy at all very comparable to the Nashville hot seasoning at typical chicken sandwich shops.
