    Seafood taco (shrimp, scallop, octopus)

This place is a hidden gem. Go here definitely and order their aguachiles. Tostada Agua Chile Negro: 5/5 This tastes so lovely. Wow. I love how it is so nicely refreshing. The cucumber works beautifully with the acidity. It is done so well. Seafood taco: 5/5 make sure to add sauce that is by the sodas. It is delicious. Service is super friendly too!

Nunca me avia pasado esto fui hoy 03/11/2026 ordene 4 tacos de pezcado con todo para llevar y solo me dieron la pura tortilla con el pezcado. La falta de respeto para el consumidor Que esta pagando casi 16 dollares.

My husband ordered the aguachiles since he originally wanted a campechana, but they didn't have the ingredients for it. The aguachiles were ok, the shrimp were a bit too chewy and the flavor was lacking. I ordered a shrimp taco and a fish taco, which were good. The woman taking our order wasn't very friendly and left us waiting even though there was no one ahead of us. We almost walked away. Price-wise, it was on the higher end. With just my tacos, his aguachiles, and a sangria, the total came out to almost $42. The food itself wasn't bad, but overall I'd give it 3 stars the aguachiles could've had more flavor and the service left a lot to be desired.

First time trying this location and it's on par with the truck in Chula Vista. The shrimp taco a la diabla came with an extra tortilla and was enough to make two hefty tacos. I love the combo of melty cheese, onions and spicy sauce. The fish taco was airy and crisp. Carne asada was so so but they're a seafood truck so I expected that. There are limes, onions, radishes, crema and what looked to be a chipotle sauce available for self-service, as well as hot sauces of varying heat levels on the tables. It was sad their large menu banner was vandalized with graffiti, but at least there is a shaded area to sit and enjoy your food while it's hot.

Service was friendly and very fast. They also give u a small taste of their seafood broth which is very tasty. We had the fish tacos and they were delicious. I tried a shrimp taco also that was pretty good. The cucumber chia water drink was tasty and refreshing. We ate outside by the food truck. First time here and coming back to try something different. We paid 22.00 for the food and drink so not bad considering it was cheaper than a typical fast food restaurant!

Their service were friendly and quick. They have a very large menu but they might not have everything and the lady will tell you what they have in stock. I originally ordered birria fries but they said they ran out of fries so I ordered two fish tacos and a spicy fish burrito. I think their fish tacos were pretty average. They weren't bad but they didn't really stand out to me. Their burrito was a bit better. My sister ordered a birria taco and I did not like their birria and I'm kinda glad I didn't get the birria fries. Their menu was not too pricey. Fish Tacos 3/5 Spicy Fish Burrito 4/5

I've been coming to this food truck for years and they've always had the best fish tacos for the price in the area in my opinion. Sometimes while we wait we'd be given complimentary consumé. Today I decided to switch and try their carne asada tacos and wow! Tacos were very large and had fresh avocados, might be my go to carne asada and fish tacos spot now. Will be trying the rest of the menus in the future for sure.

I always love to come here after my morning classes because it's close to San Diego State. I would recommend trying their fish tacos and birria queso tacos. The seasoning on both tacos are great. You can't go wrong with both tacos. The portion sizes of the tacos are big and delicious. The shrimp tacos are also worth trying. This food trunk also has several salsas to try and add on, very generous of them. Food service was also fast! All this food for less than $12, not bad!

Saw this place via sponsored Instagram post... with a coupon (that wasn't valid when we got there :/ ), didn't know what to think... but I looked on Yelp, and my fellow Yelpers, you did not lie. I always say that restaurants that aren't fancy always have the best food... and this is part of that rule! Just a little hot when you're eating outside right now! I had the aguachile verde, and it was pretty perfect. I usually have it other places and it comes out a little to spicy with not enough lime juice... but this place got it exactly right! And I do love like so I appreciate that they gave extra lime, but it was actually unnecessary. Partner got fish taco and taco plate... all amazing. The meat was cooked very well with complementary flavors/salsas! I'll definitely be coming back to try other dishes!

This food truck has the BEST fish tacos ever!!! It has set the bar for me because now whenever I have other fish tacos, I get disappointed because its not as good as El Valedor's. Definitely order the fish tacos! They are crispy fried fresh and are super hot when you get them. The sauces are a perfect creamy compliment, and they improve with lime and creamy chipotle sauce or any other hot sauce they have on the side. I always get full off of 3 tacos. I also love the seafood consume they give you for free (beware its SUPER hot when they give it to you, but its a perfect starter and I love that they give it to you for free!!!) I have also tried their shrimp, scallop, and octopus (special) ceviche: it is tart and sweet, and the seafood is fresh. I also get their agua frescas whenever they have it because its so yummy and sweet! This taco truck is in a small plaza on University Avenue. Has a few tables for seating, they always have customers come but I've never had a problem getting a seat. Definitely check out this hidden gem!

I wanted to find a sit down spot that could deliver that same citrusy, flavor packed experience and this place was everything. We came in pretty close to closing without realizing, and I hate doing that because I know how it feels working in food service, but the staff still maintained such a great attitude. We were told to seat ourselves and while the inside was way too hot to sit comfortably, the outdoor patio was perfect. Our server brought out water and menus almost immediately and even after realizing they closed at 8pm, we never felt rushed at all. The menu is full of mariscos classics like ceviches, aguachiles, tostadas, and larger plates. Prices range from affordable to a little higher, but the portions definitely reflect that. My husband and I both got tostadas to start. I got the La Special and he got the aguachile tostada, and thinking the portions would be small, we also ordered carne asada fries and a California burrito... which we definitely didn't need... BUTT I am glad we got them because YUM! The tostadas were a 100/10. The portions alone felt more than an appetizer/snack. The La Special was loaded with raw shrimp, cooked shrimp, and octopus, all super fresh with great texture. I just wish there was a little more avocado. The aguachile had that perfect citrusy, spicy kick that makes it addicting. Incredible, and I mean it. Our server also brought out a variety of sauces like chipotle crema, green salsa, red salsa, and sour cream. I added some chipotle sauce to the carne asada fries, which already came with guac and sour cream, and it took it to another level. The portion was huge, especially compared to places charging $20+ for fries. These were around $15 and came with crispy fries, flavorful meat, and a good amount of cheese. The California burrito was $12.99 and really filling with carne asada, fries, and cheese. The tortilla was soft but held everything together well and it hit exactly how a California burrito should. I seriously left with no complaints. The service was amazing, the food exceeded expectations, and this is definitely going into our regular rotation.

We got: -Garlic butter chicken wings ($11.75)- I prefer garlic butter over fish sauce so these were tasty. Crispy and garlicky. The 7 wings were big and the price was unbeatable. -Shaken beef steak ($16.50) - this came with regular rice, I would prefer fried rice or broken rice. The seasoning for the beef was not notable. It was decent but tasted more soy sauce flavor than any other spices. -Pho Real Super Bowl ($25.50) - this came with all the bells and whistles. Included ox tail, beef, tripe, flank, tendon, beef balls, brisket. Got this with thin noodles. -Pho filet mignon ($16.50) - the filet was thin, ordered this with thick noodles. The dishes were all decent. The broth was a bit salty for me. Either salt or msg that triggered my reaction later when I get dry mouth and dying of thirst. I wouldn't get the pho again due to my sensitivity but the wings were my favorite and the rice dish is like a home cooked meal. I was vibing to the music and had to ask where they were streaming it from. Parking had no issues in this plaza.
