We had some business to attend to in this area (we don't normally head this way) but I'm glad we did and found this place in passing. It's located in the corner of an intersection and the drive through directions (like where to enter and order) was kind of confusing so we went inside to place our order. I would definitely describe this place as a hole in the wall kind of place- there's a few chairs and they have a grill on the patio where the tv was playing a soccer game. Not all their staff speak full English but they were all super nice and friendly. The food is what gives this place 5 stars. We got the super mulitas with lengua and al pastor- it was soooo good, probably the best I've ever had (Sorry tacos el Gordo). It was about an inch thick and packed with so much meat that I could only eat 1/3 of the mulita before I got full. I will travel back to this area to visit again. read more

I decided to try DoorDash for pickup here because they were running a BOGO deal, so I got two Mar y Tierra Burritos (Surf & Turf) for the price of one. Sounds great, right? Well, turns out each burrito was like half the size of a normal burrito. So, technically, I just paid for two halves of a burrito, for the price of one. Not exactly the "deal" I was hoping for. LOL. Carne asada burrito- huge meat portion, didn't take in as much al carbon flavor that I was expecting & needed a bit more seasoning. Salt shakers on the tables & ask for salsa at the counter for your meal. 2- Tripas taco- u can request how well you want them cooked. I got them crispy & it was the best! 3- Adobada- Trompo isn't just for show, sliced freshly broiled off the trompo 4- Red and green salsas r pretty basic with grilled onions and jalapeño at the taco station. This place is terrible for california burritos , I ordered a cali and most of the "meat" was fat.. Every bite i took was chewy and rubbery i had to keep taking it out my mouth and throwing it , it was mostly fat not meat, the burrito was flavorless fries where mushy the only thing that was really good was the red salsa other then that my burrito was disgusting definitely not a place to get a cali..I would give zero stars it i was able to i will definitely never get a cali from here again. read more

My husband and his crew eat here when they are working and since he was working FathersDay he stopped in to grab this to take back so we could all have lunch together. It's hard giving this place a two but definitely deserves it. Salsa 2/5 - it's very watered down and they only have green salsa. Service 2/5 - they were average and took our order but they didn't give me the side of sour cream that I ordered and payed for. Also, they almost forgot my horchata, was about to drive away but remembered I ordered a horchata and had to remind them. So with that alone, wouldt come back. Theyre horrible at answering their phones to take "phone orders" you literally have to go there in person. They dont have a set schedule for their tent set up and cant even call to get it verified before driving down if its set up or not. The taco shop itself taste horrible but that little taco tent is what keeps the place running. Wish the workers were more attentive as well and nicer when taking orders. This looks like a typical little orange-and-yellow taco shop like you see everywhere in the city. With one exception: they have a grill out front and they make true, authentic street tacos Al Pastor (after 5pm). Yes, Carne Adobada on the spit, shawarma style. It's the real deal. Of course they have all the usual items on the menu too, but I still haven't gotten past the $2 street tacos. The Pastor tacos are some of the best in the city. Carne Asada is great too, and the suadeño tacos are tender and tasty as well. Beyond those, you're on your own cuz that's all I've tried so far. Ayberto's will never need to advertise. The smoke and the aroma coming off the grill are all they need. Do yourself a favor and check this little place out. You'll be happy you did. read more

I am not complaining abou the food. But every weekend outside where they eat they put music on and sing so loud that I have to close all the windows and doors so that I can hear my tv. I live across the street. They set up outside around 3:00 pm and their boisterous music starts later and ends around 12-12:30 AM. Now supposedly they close at 11:00pm. Not a happy camper! read more

Amazing, amazing, amazing street tacos. Sorry, I can't speak to the other food since we just ordered 10 $1 pastor tacos. I typically drive past Ayberto's on my way to my sister's house and the incredible smelling smoke cloud beckons each time. Recently, I believe they have changed ownership (or, at least, names) and cleaned up the location, adding a fresh coat of paint and moving some of the sketchy lawless characters elsewhere. Anytime the spit is turning, it seems this place is packed to the gills with a line around the corner. Parking is scarce in the lot, but there is also street parking in the area. You order indoors at the counter and are provided with a ticket to take to the cooks outside. They shave the pork and compose your taco with cilantro, onions and salsa para aqui o para llevar. We opted para llavar and they wrapped 3 groups of tacos in tin foil and placed them in a white paper bag. They also offer limes to add, if you desire. Although there were about 20 people in line, it moves quickly. They seem to have it down pat, and typically have the longest line after the church next door lets out their parishioners. It's honestly a cheap fix and typically not too bad in terms of waiting but the staff is HORRIBLE. Like today the girl who took my order and went ahead and IGNORED my instructions. I am ALLERGIC to avocado, as in my throat closes up and my mouth goes numb if I have avocado. I asked for NO GUACAMOLE. Again, it's not because I don't like it but I am allergic and I told her as much, she just repeated it back to me but as soon as I get home I find guacamole all over my food. I'm not being picky, I'm just trying to keep myself out of the ER and they just can't seem to grasp what a food allergy is. Not only did I explain to her but my order was pretty big and when I asked for extra salsa she said there's some in the bag, turned her back to me and ignored me. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Can they just get someone that actually likes working with people and who listens to the customer instead of gossiping with the staff and being rude to the customers on the drive through. I can't eat eggs, so I ended up giving the burrito to my father. Then I called the number on the receipt & the guy answered "hello", he didn't speak English & didn't give the phone to anyone who did. I have no problem with Mexican people working there but as a business at least have someone who can speak English answering the phone. So now my money is gone & im still hungry. Don't bother going out of your way for this spot. The adobada and carnitas are the best tacos they have on the menu. Carne asada is full of cartilage or veins. Their tortillas are okay and their in-house red and green sauces are lacking in the flavor department. I was also, surprisingly, disappointed in their limes which were completely dry and devoid of juice to squeeze on the tacos. Service was so-so and the seating is garbage. Location is okay but nothing to write home about. They accept cash or card here & have a drive through of necessary. Anybody writing about great food here is misleading you as it's mediocre at best. It gets 2/5 based on cleanliness of location, almost decent tacos and weak sauces. Feel free to drive elsewhere to get your fix in town, nothing is overwhelmingly great about eating here unless you don't have time to go elsewhere. read more

Some occasionally come up me as I'm exiting my car in the parking lot to ask for money. Been a regular customer here for a few months after my sister recommend this location for good, authentic tacos. I came mainly because I was looking for authentic, Mexican tacos. Their tacos are very good, affordable and large in size-- a very generous in size, rather. Rolled tacos are also very good and they serve them with lots of guacamole and their carne asada fries are amazing. The star rating is mostly based on costumer service and the fact that if you go through the drive thru, you could end up sitting there for 30 minutes waiting for your food. Once you pull up to the window after waiting so long you encounter rude girls. You cannot even ask them for extra salsa without getting a reaction out of them. Luckily, it's only the service that sucks here and not the food. I may not be satisfied with service but I've returned for their food. I'd recommend coming around 1-4pm during the week if you want to get in and out in a timely manner. As far as the interior of the place, it is very small and the floor is slippery. I do not recommend eating inside this location. You're better off ordering to go. read more

So I went to order food and it took about 30min to receive the food through the drive thru (They did not have a lot of clients at the time I went) I had ordered roll tacos, beef quesadilla and fish tacos with no mayo. When I received the food the tortilla on the fish tacos where cold, they put mayo when I had asked not to. They put so much that I couldn't even taste the fish and they didn't add the chipotle sauce it's like the cook didn't care for the customer. When paying they did not give me my roll tacos and asked if they wanted to make it for me after 30 min waiting. I refused because they had already had me waiting long enough and I wanted to get out of their already. I'm not giving it a 1 star because some of other food they have is good but I wish the owner did something about his cooks who don't care for the customers food. read more

Their Cabeza and Lengua tacos are fire. This is the closest I've ever come to Mexican Street Tacos. And, on Tuesdays they only cost $1 each.
