Patriotic! Happy 250th birthday, America! Supporting local

Arturo's good food from his truck are fresh and flavorful with friendly service! If you want to support a mom and pop type mexican food shop this is it. Complete with glass bottles of coca cola. The fried fish tacos were tender with a really succulent flake. Good deal for $3 each. The Mar y Tierra or shrimp and beef taco at $7 per taco were filling and the bite with tasty juices flowing was satisfying. Each came with is own half a lime. A perfect restful lunch under a beautiful sd sky! Tons of parking!!!

Canned sodas are $4 each - We got 5 fish tacos & Birria Quesadillas, total was $46.

I tried Mariscos Mi Gusto Es and overall it was just okay. The food wasn't bad, but it didn't really stand out either--pretty average flavors and nothing I'd go out of my way to come back for. Service was decent.

This place is to die for. We ordered the shrimp tacos. Some of the best shrimp tacos I've had. We are not from the area so we got super stumbling into this spot.

One would think 2026 would be the year of cultural appreciation but I was quite disappointed in the racial discrepancies from this food truck. Being quite apparently Asian, my group received our order last despite being first in line. The owner stopped us and purposely went to other groups despite them saying that we were there first. We were told to pay $20 for our tostada despite the menu stating $18. I will never return given the blatant disrespect.

Fish tacos on point! 3.50 each as of 10/22/2025.

Still make above average fish tacos that are holding steady at 3.50. I usually get a couple of these along with a shrimp ceviche tostada, which hits the spot. It's still a good value with good service, however I have noticed that the inside of the fish in the fish tacos seems to be soggier than preferred. Also, they have taken the containers and bags away for the hot sauce and hand them out sparingly, which is never a good thing to me. I asked for pickled onions, and the lady told me" they come on the taco". ummm ok, but you and other mariscos trucks usually have them out seperately? WIll continue going here for the value and convenience as it is close by and its not too busy, but I'm not really feeling the changes as of late.

Fish tacos, but the photo doesn't even do them justice.

I'm obsessed with this place. Over the last month I have been there six times, twice this week! Hands down, the best fish tacos I've ever had. Perfectly battered and fried fish- crispy, and not at all greasy, fresh, crunchy cabbage, just the right amount of crema and pickled onions on top. Add a squeeze of lime and a dash of hot sauce and that's all you need. I've only had the fish tacos, but next time I'm going to venture out and try their shrimp tacos, which are supposed to be excellent as well. Bravo Chef José and your team!

The food is amazing ! The portions are generous too! Ceviche tostada is just the perfect amount of spice and lime level, is just right! Delicious! I ordered 3 kinds, governator and Mar el there tacos and tostado! All are great! There are enough parking and some benches to sit at! The owners are very kind and sweet ! Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious, nice helpful workers, ans outdoor seating in shade or sun. They have soda available in bottle. For sure coming back for more

Los mejores mariscos, en San Diego, me encantó el taco empanizado con el salsa de chile chipotle, me cayó muy bien los trabajadores me trataron muy bien!

    The agua chile was great.
    Elliot S.

The agua chile was great. Great flavor. Didn't need any salt or additional sauce to make it taste good. The tacos were a hit. The marlin, the fried shrimp and the gobernador all were with the money. Arturo was friendly and helpful.

Shrimp tostada cruda...perhaps my favorite food ever.

This place just keeps getting better every time I visit. The mariscos are incredibly fresh and authentic, with flavors that truly remind me of the amazing seafood you find throughout Baja. Everything tastes high quality and carefully prepared. The service is also outstanding -- everyone is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you receive. Definitely a spot worth coming back to again and again.

Do they have mango habanero aguachile?

What time do you close? On yelp it says you close at 9, but on google it says you close at 6pm.

Parking? Covered seating? Still at noted location today? Editing bc now I know: plenty of parking, no covered that I saw, but it could be pouring the rain and I'd brave it for one shrimp taco at this place, oh and it's still at location noted.

Plenty of parking because the food truck is situated in a large, mostly empty parking lot. There are also 5 picnic tables, 3 that are covered. Also a hand washing station available.

They seemed to have a ton of options for my family who didn't specifically get seafood boils so we went ahead for Mothers Day. When we got there the service was okay, our waitress didn't really check on us much at all besides putting a bunch of lemon slices on our table but no major complaints. We did start off with drinks and some of us got the wrong ones but no biggie because it's busier on a holiday. What I had a problem with was the food itself. I asked for the combo #2 because I thought it was 1lb of snow crab leg like I get every single time, I got it "pub style" which is supposed to be all seasonings like garlic butter Cajun lemon pepper in one. They asked me if I wanted shrimp, sausage or craw fish as my second and I told her I didn't want any of that and just wanted ALL crab legs. I don't know if she fully understood because when I got my boil I could tell it was noticibly smaller. There wasn't 1lb by any means, and looking back I wish I could've said something. I think they just took the amount of crab they got me and cut it in half instead of substituting and adding more. I wouldn't mind if it's extra money, I just want the crab so oh well. The sauce was the second worst thing ever. It did not taste anything like other places, but way worse. All I could taste was a watery spicy Cajun, and even on mild how I got it it was pretty spicy. It lacked any real flavor so on that alone I'd never go back. I usually always get a Cajun garlic butter and it's seasoned to the Gods but still light and potent. This was just not good, and didn't even feel buttery but more a watery oil. We did also get the garlic noodles and they were good. I make garlic noodles at home AMAZING though, so these were average and nothing to write home about since other places can still do them just as good, if not better. A place in SD that had ones even better was called Crab City and their boil tasted great. I would recommend that place instead of this. The reviews and menu pictures had me with much higher expectations and I was super let down. Forgot to mention, my husbands shrimp po boy, he said the shrimp tasted off and fishy like not fresh which made him only eat half and never go back for the leftovers. There was a super sweet sauce on it as well that tasted random to me when I took a bite so I would stay away from that as well. I also had to pay extra for my potato's that normally come with your boil at every other place. They usually come with potatoes and corn but this place came with nothing and you even needed to pay extra for potatoes but they were bigger and different then usual with no salt or anything so they were not worth getting at all, nor finished by me.

I wasn't even planning on getting mariscos that day but it felt like a sign so I took it as a little treat. It's a food truck setup with folding tables and chairs and a pretty big parking lot since the plaza itself is kind of dead. Parking was easy and there was plenty of space. I walked up and they were doing construction on the tent right above where you order and it was really loud. I feel like that could've been done during closing because it disrupted the vibe. The area is already a little rough so it just made things feel a bit off. The lady working was super sweet. She took my order, you pay right after and they do accept tap to pay which I love because I don't carry cash. They take your name and call you when it's ready. I got mine to go, waited about 10 minutes, and everything came out pretty quick. They packaged everything really well too which I appreciated because aguachile can easily spill. For the tostada they gave two packs of saltines and three tostadas which felt like a good portion. They also had fresh salsas at the truck but I skipped them since my taco already came with sauce. I ordered a fish taco and an aguachile verde tostada. I went home excited to try everything but honestly it didn't really hit for me. The fish taco was a good size with a lot of cabbage and a white sauce, but the fish was a little too soft. I wish it had more crisp and overall the flavors just weren't memorable. It's about $3.70 so fair, just nothing standout. The aguachile verde was the weakest part. Some shrimp textures were off and a few had a strange aftertaste. I've had a lot of aguachile recently and this was probably the lowest quality. I will say they were generous with the avocado and the sauce itself had a nice spicy kick, it just didn't come together overall. There was also an earthy note from the seeds that was very prominent which I have never experienced in aguach For the price, I paid around $20 with tip for both which isn't bad for the portions. It satisfied the craving in the moment but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to come back to.
