I have mixed feelings on this truck after our visit. I probably would've done 3.5 if possible. Walking up, there are no prices on the menu, so adding that would have been helpful in deciding our order. They were very friendly though and made a suggestion for my husband's fish burrito after asking if he liked spicy food. The wait time for our food seemed reasonable. He enjoyed his burrito, saying it was quite spicy. Our friends also ordered a fish burrito and a smoked tuna sandwich, which they both really enjoyed, but couldn't finish the whole portion. I got a fish taco and the aguachile. The fish taco was delicious. A good size, and they had many hot sauces to spice it up as you wanted. The aguachile was just ok though. It does say on the menu it is spicy, but for those who may be debating on ordering it, it is really spicy. I was good with that, but I didn't think the shrimp was very fresh. It was just a little chewy and soggy at the same time. I think I would just stick to the fish tacos next time. Overall I would give it another try, but would do different items. read more

Not long ago, they used to be served on a full size corn tortilla and cost $2.50, I went today and they're $3.75 each AND they now use a very small tortilla, not quite the mini sized ones, but not much bigger than those. The tacos used to also have plenty of fish, not the case anymore. Today I also purchased a carne asada burrito for my son, and that was $13.75. Soooo, I used to live here and this place was great. I came down to visit and went here and the prices have gone up but the fish tacos now include battered, grilled, etc. for $2.50. I ordered 2 grilled and 8 battered. Looked at my receipt and they charged me an extra $7.50 (a la plancha). I asked the cashier and she said it was because the grilled fish were bigger. We are working in the neighborhood and always looking to try new lunch spots. I was blown away with the food from Mariscos German. These guys know what they are doing. I only get the fish tacos and the carne asada and both are outstanding! They serve you a small complimentary cup of vegetable soup and it's a nice treat while you wait for the food. I passed by this truck too many times to count. Eventually I wanted to get my seafood fix on without going to City Heights. I pulled into the parking lot, parked in a liquor store space and decided to see what this was all about. I went up to the order window and was greeted by a very kind employee who asked me what i wanted. I told her "crazy tostada and grilled fish taco please". Upon ordering, I asked for a bag for onions and four sauce containers. Ask for soup while you are waiting. It is complementary and it's ridiculously good. Lids for sauce containers are at end of truck, onions and limes are adjacent to the ordering area. I eventually got my food, which was incredibly fresh and delicious. Tons of fresh shellfish such as oysters, clams, and even abalone! It also came with avocado, ceviche, and four tostadas. Everything was fresh and delivered what was intended. Just tried to eat here (10/13/20) I ordered 1 arrachera taco, and 2 fish tacos. Waited at least 15 min and there was no one waiting ahead of me. I went there Sunday and I've been having non stop diarrhea for days. It's been three days already and I still feel bad. Not only that, my girlfriend also has diarrhea.
