The staff is welcoming and the vibes are great. If you appreciate authentic, top-tier fresh seafood, this spot is an absolute must-visit. Will definitely be coming back regularly!
The reviews were great and the food exceeded my expectations. The salsa with the chips was authentic. The Tostada Especial (Scallop,Cooked Shrimp ,Octopus and Raw Shrimp Cured With Lime) was fresh and delicious. I tried all three house sauces and like all three. I liked that the cooked shrimp was not overcooked. Next time, I'll try the shrimp and octopus Tostado
Best mariscos in SD, we've tried many items on their menu & all have been great. Service is great even on a busy Friday night. All the food is fresh and you can tell they care about the quality by the way each ingredient is prepared. The music is always on point, bringing us back home
Had brunch here with a group of friends and absolutely loved it!! Not sure how we missed this small seafood gem! Trust the reviews. Might just be my newest favorite spot for all seafood. Service was quick and I enjoyed the chili pepper and citrus flavors of their food. Very clean and small but very busy so I definitely feel they are winning people's stomachs--one customer at a time. You'll definitely catch me here again!!
This is one of our go-to spots whenever we come down to San Diego. We were visiting from Las Vegas and everything was really good. I loved the variety of sauces they offer, from the classic hot sauces to the spicier, more flavorful ones. The service was amazing. Everyone greeted us, and our waitress was very attentive. The restaurant has a true hidden-gem feel, and the ambiance was great. The micheladas were good, but a bigger glass would make them even better. It would also be cool to see a few more michelada options, maybe with cucumber, shrimp, or orange, to help them stand out like the oyster and shrimp plates. We'll definitely be coming back soon.
Amazing find! We wanted to try a new Mexican restaurant and this place did not disappoint! We were truly pleased with the service and the food. We got the Gobernador and fish tacos, carne asada fries, dozen rack of oysters with ceviche and seafood soup. Just check out the pictures! Everything taste so good. The meat, fish, shrimp, etc were cooked to perfection. Nothing was overcooked. The only issue we had was the location. We nearly missed the restaurant (we didn't see the sign) but my husband called and they confirmed their location. There's parking in front and behind the restaurant building. The bathroom is outside the restaurant so you need to ask for the key. Will definitely come back here again!

Came here today for dinner with a friend and was very satisfied with the way my food was made. I got the gobernador and the taco dorado and loved both. The aguachile sauces are also bomb. Service was great and we are looking forward to coming back . read more

Staff is very friendly and fast. We went on Valentine's Day although there was a 20 minute wait it was worth it and didn't feel like 20 minutes. Definitely recommend also their lemonade with agua mineral is so good . Great for watching sports read more

The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in and were super accommodating when we asked if they were dog friendly considering we had our pup and didn't see a yard. They sat us at a table near the door which we thought was great because our pup wouldn't be near any other table and/or people's food. We ordered an appetizer plate that contained Aguachile, Shrimp and octopus. The seafood tasted fresh and the aguachile had great flavor. I ordered a taco Gobernador as well as a Mar y Tierra and they both had such great taste. The seasoning on everything was well balanced. I asked if they would be able to prepare a small chicken breast without seasoning for Luka and right away they said that'd be no issue. The restaurant isn't huge but has plenty of seating. There were 2 small groups of musicians that came by the restaurant and were offering to play music to each seated party which we thought was cool. read more

Went to visit San Diego and stopped at this restaurant. Highly recommend, the food was amazing and very fresh. We ordered some ceviche and half a dozen oysters with ceviche on top. 10/10 the best mariscos, I wish we had one close in the valley. read more
Found this spot on Yelp since I was visiting from SF and I have to say the food quality was excellent! The customer service was great although the wait to get seated was about 10-15 min but all worth!! Clean and really friendly vibe with great music. Would definitely recommend this spot for fresh mariscos!! Just hope near the future some Paloma's or margaritas are added to the menu:-) read more

This place is off the hook. The authentic flavors are better than anything I've tried in San Diego The staff is very courteous and attentive and they always recommend the best next dish. I recommend the Tostada Loca, you'll be licking your fingers without remorse. Try them out , it won't disappoint. Great location and ease of access from rear parking. read more

Came here on a Friday during lent and oh my! I love mariscos and we ordered aguachile the verde was so flavorful and had such a good spice I didn't even need to add extra chile the flavor on its own was exceptional. We also ordered the ceviche con mango and it had its own unique flavor the mango just added to it. As well as the caldo de camarón my 2 year old and 5 year old loved it! My picture is terrible I couldn't get good lighting but this will definitely be my new go to for mariscos read more

Random Sunday cravings for mariscos with my girl Selina friend. The original place we wanted to go to had a live loud as Banda playing. So we searched Yelp & after 2 tries on closed places we found this one. It's ultra unassuming from the outside, but inside it was very cute. The staff was very nice & accommodating to us. The food of course was the star of the show. We both got a gobernador taco - amazing must try. We shared a lovely plate of shrimp & octopus ceviche plate. I got a michelada it was the right mix of spice & Clamato. Hope to ho again to try their other dishes! read more

Man, finally a place that I can just enjoy without any complaints. This place is such a great experience with amazing food. Seating 5/5: Plenty of seating, inside and outside. The patio outside is really nice with standard tables or a lounge to sit and enjoy your food. Service 5/5: Can't complain, very attentive and the staff always has great recommendations. Food 5/5: Definitely one of the best Seafood I've had. I usually get the cooked shrimp bowl. They use plenty of shrimp and a great balance of veggies. Haven't been disappointed. AMAZING SPOT! I'm leaving confused. We just left the border and we're starving looking for some seafood. Yelp suggested this location as the top with the best reviews. The location is great, and has parking next door due to the shopping center. Our drinks were served by one person and the food taken by a different person. This led to 2 different checks. A drink check and a food check. We ordered 2 orders of the oysters, we never received the second order. The first order arrived but we never got any plates. We waited over 45 minutes for the first order of oysters and another 15 minutes for my ceviche. We finished our drinks, and the woman never came back to offer more. An hour past by and we decided to ask for the check and go somewhere else. I feel like it's two different businesses out of one location, almost as if they are just starting off. 2 stars instead of 1 because the seafood actually tasted okay. The service was terrible, the location was dirty, and the one stall was very dirty. It was not clean. read more

Been wanting to check this spot out since they opened up back in January. They took over the space that used to be Hero's cafe off of National City Blvd. Me and my friend wanted to order beers however they haven't gotten their permits so just regular drinks for now. The person who helped us said the permits should be finalized soon. When you walk in, you scan a QR code at your table for the menu. As for the food, I ordered the 50/50 aguachiles and a fish taco dorado. Both so good packed with flavor and fresh. The aguachiles were tangy and spicy and had super fresh avocado and the taco was nice and crispy, the fish was well cooked and not fishy at all. However It was a little over loaded with cheese but that's an easy fix. This is walking distance from my house so I will be a regular here for sure when I'm craving Mariscos. read more

I ordered Tostitos Ceviche and one Taco "tortilla de Arina" de Camaron Al mojo de ajo sooo good. The novio ordered two fish beer battered tacos, his review "they where good but the tortillas could be better". I would suggest from the tortilleria to make them a little more authentic. Food was 8.5/10 you can't complain . We tried the mix bowl 10/10 , the shrimp tostada ( no mango ) 5/10 because it has more of a Clamato / ketchup taste , and the shrimp tacos 7/10. The trio salsas the being over were amazing . Now from food to ambiance . The ambiance is okay but the seats are horrible ( they are supper low). Apparently the place turns into a hooks lounge at night . The service was 9/10. read more
