This was the first time I've ever colored my hair, and I was pretty nervous about it, but I couldn't be happier with the outcome! I called Marisol and asked for a last-minute walk-in, and I caught her as she was literally about to close up for the day, but despite being a first-time client, she stayed open late on a Saturday to give me a partial highlight. I described what I wanted to her before showing her pictures of it and she understood exactly what I wanted. She did the highlights baylage-style, and it came out beautiful. Disappointed!! I read all the reviews and went to Marisol for a haircut. The appointment took 2 hrs for a straight haircut. And she charged me 65$ !!! She conditioned my hair although I had shampooed my hair just before I went for the appointment (did not inform me I will be charged extra for that). My hair looks no different ...it is just 4 inches shorter. I am not going to recommend anyone to her.. The 15$ haircut at great clips was much better and quicker than this one. read more

She is just great !!!! I just moved here from San Fran and needed something for my hair and needed to find a hair stylist. You know all the different ethnicity have different hair and Its hard to find someone who can take care of your hair. (I'm asain btw and I tried many time and failed to find a good stylist, even in Japan Town in San Fran) She is such a lovely lady, and I think she is really gifted and knows what she is doing!!! She did a really awesome job doing Keratin Treatment and cutting my hair. My hubby complimented me when I come home and said "seems like you found your stylist huh?" :) he knows I'm picky... I am a new mom and during pregnancy I avoided any chemicals so I used a non-chemical coloring at home for my hair during this period of time. when I went to Marisol I had a variety of colors and my hair was destroyed. Marisol is absolutely amazing! She is incredibly talented, knowledgeable, compassionate and personable. 6 months ago I walked into her studio for the first time with hair that was tragic- it was super thin, completely lifeless and overall really really unhealthy. Marisol spent hours with me, one on one, explaining how my hair had gotten to the point it was, where the damage was, what caused it, what she could do to save it and what I could easily do at home to restore it. She proceeded to cut, color, treat, and condition my hair and when I walked out that day I didn't even recognize myself!
