A great local salon that's refined and welcoming. I've now been to Liana Marie twice and she is an excellent stylist. She thoughtfully listens to your ideas and is a pro at long layers. I wanted to add some cherry cola pizzazz to my hair this time and she nailed it. Parking can be found around the corner from the salon, or across the street, or on the street. Prices are fair for the services (I end up paying about $200 for cut/all over color/tip). read more

Not a good experience. Needed to Stylist for a remote job, reached out 3 weeks prior; the front desk was kind and felt confident they could find a the "right person for the job". But after two weeks of back-and-forth, clear conversation and everything being settled, the Stylist, Laura, sounded somewhat disinterested and a bit unsure in our confirmation call... which was surprising given that everything has been settled the previous week. As it was our first time speaking directly to the stylist, we wanted to review what was needed and asked straightforward questions; as well as wished to pay in advance. Apparently this professional protocol was not acceptable for this stylist! As we were discussing the fact that the stylist seemed offended we needed to confirm the details of the appt, and no longer seemed warm, and a bit unprofessional on the call- she called to CANCEL - 3 days prior !- saying that "she just wasn't feeling it." No solution offered - just simply decided to pull out. And this salon who had "placed her" her for the position didn't bother to apologize or reach out to figure out a solution. Thankfully, we had back up options in place (having already experienced a lack of courtesy from a few salons in this area.) Thank you. read more

I want to take a second to rave about Liana-Marie...she is AMAZING. I told her exactly what I was hoping for in the color of my hair and she absolutely nailed it. Not just that, she completely exceeded my expectations. The color turned out beautifully, but she didn't stop there. It came time to do the blowout and she put so much care into making it voluminous and styled as well. You can tell that she loves what she does and it clearly shows through her work. She was super friendly and even gave me a discount for being a first time customer! The place itself is small but beautiful. Fully exposed brick wall, wood floors, and large mirrors. I got my hair cut with Jackie today and she was an amazing stylist! I showed her photos and explained what I want, and she was great to ask questions to make sure what I was looking for, and she continued to communicate well with me throughout the cut to make sure I got exactly what I wanted length/layers/texture-wise. I will definitely be a repeat customer to get my hair cut with her! The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because of pricing....I had come to the salon before and had a haircut with a "level one stylist" and at that time(several months ago) it had been $25. When I made my appointment I asked for the pricing to be clarified and was told by the receptionist that Jackie would be $30 if I didn't want a blow dry(I didn't, I hate blow drying unless a stylist needs to do it for a certain cut). I clarified no I did not, just the haircut. Receptionist said okay, we've got you down for just the cut. So when Jackie cut my hair, I went into it thinking she knew what I had been told and what sort of appointment I had made....so when she told me she wouldn't finish texturizing my hair until she blow dried it, I assumed she was blow drying knowing it wasn't a service I was willing to pay for but that she was doing it to make sure her cut was perfect. She cut, blow dried, and styled my hair with a straightener that she used to add a bit of curl to my hair (which I assumed she did for her own social media hair profiles as many stylists do, and she did post it later after asking if she could take photos). The whole service was fine, I loved her, she was very sweet and kind and a great stylist ....However it was super shocking to get up to the cash register and be given a total of $50, which is $20 more than I'd bargained for. Normally I wouldn't even be too concerned about this, but it was a bit out of my budget at the time bc it was definitely an unplanned extra cost I hadn't expected to have to eat, and it unfortunately meant I didn't have the extra funds to even add a tip to my card transaction for Jackie, which I felt mortified about. So just to summarize, I will totally be back and this salon is excellent is many more ways than one, their customer service is great and they pamper their clients from the get go, I just wish the pricing was more clear from the beginning to the register, so make sure you keep communicating as you're going through the motions of your service with your stylist. :) read more

I went to see Danielle for Caramel partial balayage, root touch up, an Olaplex treatment, blowout, and hair trim. She took her time, was professional, and made sure that I was happy with the result. I was really glad that she did not up sell me on any unneeded services or products. I loved the color, blow out, and haircut. I was worried about damaging my hair and asked her not to rebleach the parts that were already previously bleached and she was very careful about this. I do not go get my hair done that often so I asked her to start the balayage up high and she did just that while still making sure to not start right at the root . I was very pleased with the result! My bangs were a little bit lighter than the rest of my hair at first, but I called Danielle after and she graciously gave me tips to put my mind at ease. After a couple washes it all matched up! I received lots of compliments on the color and we'll definitely be going back to see Danielle when it is time to get my hair done again. The salon is very clean and homey as well. read more
