I was a very loyal customer to Sandy Curl for eleven months. Please read the following so you can save yourself time, aggravation and money. It is not an experience that anyone should encounter whether you are a steady customer or not. Every hairstylist should know that when our hair looks fabulous we feel fabulous! Unfortunately, Sandy Curl as a hairstylist does not have the same belief and here is why: I purchased hair extensions and met w Sandy Curl so she can do the highlights on my roots and put the extensions. I got my roots done on Jan 23 and Sandy Curl used the wrong volume in my hair and as a result my hair turned yellow. The results were unacceptable. In addition, she advised me to get 40 pieces and assured me it would b sufficient for my entire head. Unfortunately, that was not true and my hair was short on the sides and in the front. I had to wear my hair in a bun to hide her mistake. Sandy told me to purchase another pack at my expense and not only did I have to spend more money I was being inconvenienced as well because my hair did not look professional. She said she would finish my hair the next day and be at her salon at 4pm. She called me at 3:30pm to cancel my appointment because I have not arrived. She rescheduled me for Saturday at 3:15pm and I showed up and she was not there. What kind of person does this type of thing? She has already turned my hair yellow and made me spend a lot of money and she cant be there to fullfill her commitment as a business person. I waited one hour and she contacted me and rescheduled me for Sunday and again she stood me up for 2 hours waiting for her. I am exhausted and fed up! To make a long story short I went elsewhere and I got beautiful results and my hair looks fabulous. My overall experience with Sandy Curl should have never happened. She was not customer friendly and was not committed to doing my hair the way it should have been done. I dont recommend her and I certainly will not be going back. Do yourself a huge favor and get a different hairstylist because if it happened to me it could happen to you too! I am adding my receipt. Since she took my money and didn't finish my hair I had to go elsewhere and paid another $200. read more

Yet again a fantastic experience with Sandy! She does such a great job cutting and coloring my hair. As an Afro American women it's hard to find a stylist you can trust with your hair.
