I gave 3 stars because I hate and detest misinformation. 1. Appointment: recommended. They are not that full, so you can even walk-in and wait a few mins and get seen, which I did the 1st time. 2. Service: good but shady The actual doctors are fine, had no issue with treatment. BUT they said the skin tag removal is totally easy, can be done in 10 mins and no one will know after the fact. I asked again and again and got it done, had a black neck for 3 weeks. It did heal and now it is great, but why would you say that when the patient asks knowing they have an event! I had to wear a giant scarf on a hot day. Could have just told the truth and I would have rescheduled at a better date. they just want their slots filled so don't care for you. 3. Billing: super shady, overcharged $198! I was told the service was flat $200 and insurance won't cover and I must pay in cash, which I did. Fast forward 3 weeks later I got over $198 in bills, so I thought it was a mistake since the amount is so close to $200 and I had already paid. NO. They charged me for an office visit! Why? Was I supposed to get it done at their home? Why say FLAT FEE if it wasn't? Why not just say we also charge for office visit via your insurance on top of the flat fee? They make it sound like it is fast, easy, flat fee or easy to understand but in fact very shady. 4. They also sent "something" to their sister pathology company. I got laser done, there was NOTHING to send to a pathologist even if they wanted to. Why not get my consent? What did they send and where are the findings then? The pathology report for my "parts"? Nothing. Now I am also stuck with an extra pathology bill for which I have no idea what it is for. Avoid. It is a scam or at least the financial part is. And their front desk is rude as hell! read more

I have seen approximately 10 dermatologists and 4 allergists. I finally found Dr. Yousefi through Cigna. What a find! She is THE BEST I have seen!!! She really listens and works hard to get her patients the help they require. We did patch testing and body scans. Dr. Yousefi was able to secure a prescription for me that I have wanted to take for years. I highly recommend her practice. She even burned off an annoying skin tag on my neck!!!! read more

I would not recommend using Dr. Yousefi as your dermatologist. She provided me with incorrect information about my treatment options and I am now stuck with a bill that insurance won't cover. read more

If you have been in the northern Virginia area for long you know how hectic it can get and how rushed everyone seems all the time. Well, that all changes at Doctor Yousefi's practice. I was sent a couple of text reminders before my appointment which was helpful and when I arrived I was promptly greeted and checked in. After a short wait I was greeted by the doctor who along with her assistant screened me for my yearly skin check. My work takes me outside nearly every day and I use daily sunscreen and wear protective gear. I pointed out a few areas I was concerned about and was relieved to find they were not of consequence. Before I found Doctor Yousefi I had been to several other practices where it seemed like I was part of a herd of patients and the waiting rooms were always crowded. My wife is a patient here also and we share a high opinion of the doctor and the staff. We feel like we are in a place where we receive excellent and thoughtful care. read more

My visit this time was to check on what appears to be a mole in my ear and she wanted to make sure that it wasn't some type of skin cancer, which fortunately it was not. This year, I decided it was time to do a body skin scan as a preventive measure - just was something I never prioritized, but knew I should do. On recommendation of a friend, I made an appointment with Dr. Yousefi. She is fairly heavily booked, but I was in no rush and took the next available appointment, which was about 6 weeks out. The process was a breeze. I was quickly processed in by a courteous attendant at the front desk. As soon as my paperwork was done, I was brought back to the exam room and answered some questions from the physician's assistant. A few minutes later, Dr Yousefi came in and asked several questions as we began to prep for the scan. She called out notes to her assistant as she conducted a thorough scan, who was entering info into their electronic record system. There was nothing to be concerned about, and before I left, they helpfully made an appointment for the following year. I was on the road about 20 minutes after my appt began.
