Originally, last year, Dr. Nguyen had assessed my mole (on the right side of my nose (had it since birth), and had given me a price tag of $250 and an educational conversation that went into the details of what he would do and how he would do it. So when I reapproached him this time, ready for my mole removal, he laughed at the thought of lasering the mole. "moles have roots", he said. I was on the table, he was talking to me about his 3 daughters, I had been locally anesthetized and I was asking him if I could see an illustration of a mole and its roots. I had some image in my mind of like in middle school when they show you the architecture of a zit, anyway, I'm just laying there and he holds up my extracted mole in the blaring medical lamp! I felt so comfortable with Dr. Nguyen with my minor surgery. He stitched me up and I was on my way. Later, I brought my boyfriend in for some skin tag removal, that went well also. I will say, don't let the office exterior intimidate you. In my experience, this is completely normal in the Falls Church area. :)
