They were on time,very friendly. Answered all my questions. It took about 8 hours. But they did a great clean up and I was surprised they had 2 bags of scrap. That was it. It is now October 31st and it still is not done! And since they only work 3-5 hours at a time, with 3 or 4 breaks in between, it may be another week or more before it is finally finished. The man over them has had to be called 3 times to come out and light a fire under them. They worked 1 8 hour shift then went back to the 3-5 hours. The work is shoddy as hell. It's uneven and the lines are crooked. Even the customers notice. If it had been up to me, they would have been fired by the 3rd week!

Unfortunately the outcome is substandard compared to multiple flooring installation jobs we have had done in homes in both Mission Viejo, California and Scottsdale, AZ. 1. Paulsons underestimated the required flooring, so the stairs are yet to be completed. The ETA to receive more flooring is 1 month, since this was the original time frame. 2. Edging baseboard reattachment looks horrible. The installers told us we would have to hire another contractor to paint and caulk attach all our baseboards. This is confusing as we have never seen this with our last hardwood floor and porcelain tile plank installation. The finished product looked tidy and polished. Although this current project was 800 sqft upstairs remodel at a $15,000 price tag, I expected similar results to our previous flooring installation experience back in Scottsdale, AZ. Perhaps this is all the unsuspecting customer can expect from Paulson's. We now will need to find a contractor to reattach caulk and paint the baseboards. Plus patch paint scraped walls. More money of course. We were planning on also remodeling our first floor 5 year old luxury vinyl redone with Cortec with Paulsons. However, after this week's install, we seriously having doubts. Lesson learned. A good sales talk from Troy, doesn't mean the customer will have a positive outcome and experience. Very disappointed in Paulsons. I don't believe Mr. Paulson of yesteryear would find the workmanship of our project acceptable. I. Summary the Cortec flooring is beautiful, the installation very concerning. If I was to do it all over again , I would use somebody else.

I should have walked out then but thought I needed the work. He didn't pay me for nearly two months on a several jobs I did for him. When we did finally meet up he was yelling and calling me names and even threatened to not pay. He then complained about having to work with immigrant installers who don't speak English very well. In short, because of his racist and overall unprofessional behavior and running of his store I will no longer be installing for him and cannot recommend his store to other installers or customers.

Baseboards installation. We met Tyler, the sales manager who stopped by to check on the project himself. He needed to assess the process of the project. Our hardwood floor and baseboards installer is Alex. Very friendly and had a smile on his face. Eugene did our sanding and sealing. Also very nice. The whole team at Floor Covering International are very courteous and accommodating. I am very happy with their work and it's a very good experience.

Not only were they extremely helpful and professional, the service was top-notch! The carpet I chose was in-stock and they installed it the next day. When I went back to pick out my countertop material (laminate), they had to order it from Portland. They picked it up the next day and held it until my cabinet install was complete (which was delayed several times). I was never rushed and they never acted put out when I had to postpone multiple times. The eventual countertop install went very well and had fantastic results! I will continue to use McDonald's and recommend every chance I get!
