I posted a review of this Arizona Preferred Surgeons & Dr. McClary, 2+ years ago. And still today,…read moreI have nothing but the utmost respect for ALL the surgeons within this practice. As well as the staff. They all mean the world to me. They saved my life (more than once) in so many ways. Not just with my health, but the emotional overcoming of what I experienced. They have ALL (from front desk to MA's, to PA's, NP's, Surgeon's, Office Manager, etc.) touched my life and my family's life. I am a 36 year old wife with four beautiful children. My two oldest (daughter & son) are old enough to remember the "me" I was before all the surgeries and hospital stays. Which I spent more time in the hospital than I did at home. The older two children can remember every moment of every scary experience. Even one's that I myself am unable to remember. But my two littles, (daughters), don't remember the days that mama was able to hold them and sing to them, and do any & EVERYTHING with them. They don't know their mom who wasn't sick. But they are all four just amazing human beings. My husband had to go from being the fun dad to being the "do it all" daddy. And he's been wonderful about it. I still need to have a few more procedures and haven't been doing well lately. And there is not another surgical office that I would trust with my life, than this office. I'm a high-risk patient, and Dr. McClary is my most trusted surgeon and human being in general for my complications. But I have had the pleasure of seeing all the physicians within this practice. And I would recommend ANY & ALL of them! My anatomy is just a bit different than others lol! And Dr. McClary has been there from the start of me becoming a higher risk patient. Thank you to all who have read this, if you made it this far ! And thank you to Dr. McClary, along with THE entire staff! Everyone! Thank you, thank you!

Appointment goes OK - DOCTOR IS GREAT. Incomplete orders to medical facility. No pain meds @ Rx - another follow-up. Another call to schedule follow-up appointment - forgot to schedule. Unsure if this is "in play" here, but more and more medical practices are nothing more than shells macerating for some conglomerate. Doctors are employees without any ownership or oversight for the staff. Staff turnover is horrific with least cost apparent. There is a valley urology multi-location practice than worse than this. But my opinion a race to the bottom.

As I'm typing this now, my appointment was at 4:30 and 5:10 has come and gone and I'm still in the waiting room. Second of all, there is no reason the most partisans of channels should be spewing loudly. I asked the receptionist if we could change it to an appropriate channel to which she replied no, I can't, the doctor has it on there. Why are we watching the most divisive political news at a OBGYN office? The most inappropriate response to a very simple request. I also tried homeopathy, which helped a little, but it only masked the symptoms instead of addressing the root cause. Finding Dr. Marchand was such a relief. For the first time, I felt like I truly understood what was going on with my body and more importantly, how to actually treat it. I would highly recommend Dr. Marchand to anyone struggling with abnormally heavy periods. It has honestly been life-changing for me. The entire process was smooth and straightforward. I was clearly given my options and ultimately chose a surgical solution. The procedure was scheduled quickly, and my recovery was very manageable, no worse than a typical week of menstrual cramps. I'm so grateful to have finally found real answers and real relief!

Urgent Care wasn't much help, they determined it was a spiral fracture and were not willing to treat. I sat in the parking lot as my daughter and I wondered where to go to get help. Dr Hammad Zafar's Office was recommended by medical professionals so I called them. Laura answered the phone and although she didn't have an opening she listened empathetically. I'm sure they get these calls all the time. I just wanted an expert opinion, make sure I didn't do anything wrong before I could see someone for treatment. I got way more than expected, Laura called back an hour later, Dr Zafar would see me. I arrived thinking I would get a consult and put my mind at ease. To my surprise Dr Zafar came in like I had a regular appt, assessed, asked questions and gave me options. He then took his time and treated me with care. I left there feeling so much better and extremely thankful. I found a wonderful doctor and medical group! Thank you Dr Zafar!!

At my last visit to the hospital for a small blocked bowel, the attending surgeon told me he needed to see me in 10 days and that we needed to find out what keeps causing the problem. I googled him and read the Doctor's Yelp review, it was only 3 and a half stars. I'm sure he's a good Doctor, but I wanted a great and out of this world Doctor. So, I punched "small blocked bowel" into google; only one Doctor's name came up, Dr. Ghazanfari. Then I read his Yelp reviews; they were outstanding. I gave his office a call and the rest is history. He lived up to his reviews. When I showed up to his office, he had already studied my visits to the ER, and came up with a plan for me. I was to go to get a diagnostic laparoscopy. Before, I went for my laparoscopy on July 12th, Dr. Ghazanfari prepared me for the upcoming laparoscopy. He told me of the best that could happen (quick fix) or the worst outcome (tumor/taking out a section of intestine). Thankfully, it was an easy fix! I've learned that bedside manner is a good thing, but not always necessary. One of the most important things for a Doctor to have is genius or maybe intuition? I'm happy to say that Dr. Ghazanfari has both! Not only that, he has an excellent bedside manner! Sorry, I took so long. But, I'm a very sickly person with bizarre illnesses. I'm sure there are many like me out there. So I wanted to put a great, big, flashing arrow towards Dr. Ghazanfari if you have a small blocked bowel or any problem internally.

The first surgeon was very nice, but I wasn't ready to hear that news, and wanted to verify. Dr. Perry agreed with the first assessment. I chose him based on several factors. First, he is a trauma surgeon, experienced in big, messy issues. He also has a great deal of experience in fixing complications from old orthopedic surgeries. He was recommended to me by a friend who had many hip replacement complications- that Dr. Perry repaired. Another reason that I chose him is that he showed me something on my imaging that everyone else missed. And it was important! I'm a retired nurse, and I think you pick the one who fixes the worst of the worst, just in case. Dr. P. Evangelista was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and explained what he would do, how it would help, and what the potential problems could be. I am 6 weeks out from my second replacement, and I couldn't be happier. I've had no complications. I am able to do a lot that I couldn't do when I first saw him. I am able to lift my grandkids, get down on the floor (and get up again), and I'm walking without a limp for the first time in a few years. I am so happy to have chosen Dr. P.Evangelista. I would highly recommend him. The staff has been very friendly to me. Front desk is very efficient and has been very pleasant/accomodating when I've called. Melissa, surgery scheduler, is great. The MA's and Xray people are always really sweet and fun. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

My…read morefirst appointment he explained everything well in terms of it being a laparoscopic procedure using mesh and answered my questions. Directly after the surgery, I was told there were no complications. I do still feel the screws they used to attach the mesh to my body cavity. They still cause me pain. It's 7 weeks post op and I was told they would dissolve and they definitely have not. I've gone in for a 3-4 post op appointments because they said it would be 2-3 days painful but it was more like 5-7 days of real core pain. The light duty and lifting limitations should be extended too. For any person, this is a big surgery. They try to say, "yeah people bounce back the next day..." well, that's not my experience. Kaelyn Garner has been great for questions post op too. I have another post op this Monday (11/13) so we'll see what she says about my recovery. Front desk receptionists (Janet?!) probably knows my phone number by heart because I was calling with questions from recovery, thank you. Update- 12/04/2023 When I went in for the surgery, they didn't tell me about the dissolvable screws. They said it would take about six weeks for them to dissolve, and they still have not. They caused me pain when I'm walking on my crutches as I am still nonweightbearing from my back to back surgeries, bending, during my period, or any little movement in my abdomen. I have a friend say that she didn't have to have screws put in her body after Dr Armini had to fix a hernia after my friend, Emma's hysterectomy. She was my reference for the doctor, but I don't understand why he did different procedures. I would definitely ask him about it prior to surgery. I was under the impression the mesh would just stick to my body cavity.

I came to him in one of the scariest, most uncertain times of my life. My condition was complex and I was filled with fear. From the moment I met Dr. Amini I felt something I hadn't felt in a long time -- hope. His calm, confident demeanor was matched by an incredible ability to explain what was going on, what needed to happen, and how we would tackle it together. I immediately knew I was in the best hands possible. The surgery (a Whipple procedure) itself was nothing short of miraculous. What others saw as a high-risk, complicated case, he approached with meticulous precision and unwavering confidence. He not only performed the operation flawlessly, but he did so with a level of care and foresight that I truly believe made all the difference in my outcome. The post-operative care I received was equally exceptional. Although, I weeks in the hospital Dr. Amini checked in constantly, listened to my concerns, and always made me feel heard and respected. This isn't just a surgeon who performs procedures -- this is someone who sees the whole person, who fights for their patients with everything he's got, and who genuinely cares. It's rare and remarkable. I will never forget it Thanks to Dr. Amini, I am here and alive. I get to work, achieve my goals, and live my life again. all because of his expertise, heart, and l unwavering commitment to his patients. If you are looking for a surgeon who specializes in pancreatic issues Dr. Amini is the best and someone who combines world-class medical excellence with amazing bedside manner. He is the absolute best -- a true hero in every sense of the word. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Dr. Amini gave me my life back. In addition, his staff is incredible!
