My son doesn't like new experiences (which I'm trying to change) but after 10 minutes or so of Jack's easy demeanor and his fun lovIng attitude, my kid was enjoying himself. The Barbershop experience. When he got out of the chair, I know a good fade when I see one and I was like "DAMN!!!" putting me in the dilemma of loyalty to my lady stylist vs. I want a tight haircut. We like to rib my kid about his hesitance and not trying new and as soon as he got outside said "This is my new Spot!!!" I booked an appointment with Marlon at MGX Barbers, and the experience was seamless. The shop is in a prime location with plenty of parking and is easy to find. There are several other businesses nearby (CVS, Safeway, etc.), which is extremely convenient if you need to run errands before or after your appointment. Now, for the good stuff: my experience with Marlon. He was ready well ahead of our scheduled time. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, asked clarifying questions, and kept checking in throughout the process. This immediately gave me confidence that my satisfaction was his primary goal. I also appreciated that he asked for honest feedback; he made it clear that his goal was to deliver a result I was truly happy with. The environment was clean and professional. I usually visit shops solo first to see if it's a good environment for my kids, and this place definitely felt family-friendly. Prices are competitive for the Bay Area, and given the quality of service, the cost is well-warranted. I can definitely see myself coming back here for many more haircuts.

He is located in the small little center off Seven Hills and has a cozy shop with plenty of seating and a color tv which was on college football today. Perfect! You face the TV as he works his magic.
