Unfortunately Dr. Mclendon isn't there anymore. The gentleman that replaced him is very young. Thought I would let him show me what he could do. It was a mistake. I am paying for it today. Instead of using a needle I think he used a jackhammerTo put the Novocain in with.Price has doubled since this time last year. They wanted to charge me $500 to pull one tooth.Give him about 10 years and maybe Give him a try. The rest of the staff is on point. Unfortunately their hands aren't in your mouth his are.The only thing local about this office now is the office.I will not be going back would suggest the same. read more

If you use Dr. McClendon or are considering using him please look at other options. I have never dealt with such a rude and inconsiderate dentist. We scheduled a short notice appointment with him yesterday due to a fractured tooth that was causing extreme pain. He had to extract the tooth. After the extraction when we were shown the tooth it looked like there was a root missing so we asked if he got everything and he stated "YES" and sent us on our way. As soon as the numbing was gone the pain was even worse. We were back at his office as soon as it opened this morning. He was beyond rude. Glanced in the mouth and just started writing a prescription. When asked if he was going to be able to help with the pain and why it was so severe he rudely stated "I have a full day booked what do you want me to do about it?" No x-ray was taken and when he was asked what his thoughts are of why there was still pain he had no explanation. He just said "I don't know! Then referred us to a different dentist that has yet to contact us. We ended up going to SHORE DENTAL(Amazing office and doctors) they took an X-ray that clearly shows that there is still a major part of the root broken off in the socket!! This explains the pain still going on. Now have to have surgery to remove the rest of root. Beyond rude and I wouldn't ever recommend for ANYONE to use him. He treated us like scum.
