He took the time to understand the style I wanted and recommended the type of perm that would be best for me. Since I came to the salon around 5 pm, there wasn't enough time to do both services that day. But thankfully Sam was able to fit me in for a weekend appointment. When I came back, Sam went over the perm design with me again to make sure we were on the same page. I was honestly worried about damaging my hair since I had just colored it a few days earlier, but Sam reassured me and explained everything throughout the process. He checked the condition of my hair frequently, and whenever I had questions, he explained what products he was using. That really showed his professionalism and put me at ease. The assistants were also very attentive and kept checking to make sure I was comfortable, which made the whole experience relaxing. The best part was the final result. Even when my hair was still wet after the wash, I already knew I loved it. As he dried my hair, Sam showed me how to style and dry it at home, so I could style it the same way myself. I absolutely love how my hair turned out. It looks exactly the way I wanted, and I'm so happy with the result. You can even specify a hairstylist should you have a preference. Someone from the salon called to check in and ensure I had the best experience by asking a few basic questions about what I wanted for a cut. I was really impressed by the thoroughness in follow-up. When I got to the salon, check in was quick, the front desk kindly asked to hang up my coat, and there was no wait time (despite arriving slightly early for my appointment). You could also request a refreshment, and they have one of the most extensive coffee menus I've ever seen! The wash, cut, and styling were all done seamlessly, with my stylist periodically asking clarifying questions along the way. I paid at the door, and inquired when I should be back. Another staff member knowledgeably mentions about 6-8 weeks to maintain the shape of the cut. Everyone was so warm and kind. Not to mention, there's great parking in the front and in the alley. Highly recommend if you're in the area!
