So there I was... the bonding on my front teeth broke for one reason or another (laffy taffy two days after my front teeth bonding was redone... oops) the bond broke. This was one day before my buddy's 50th bday. So I was in a total jam. His daughter could not make it in time to fix my teeth but doc could... only because he literally dropped everything to do so. He made an appearance when he normally didn't work at his office JUST FOR ME despite the fact that he had an important errand to do that day. So he paid a friend a little bit to do the errand for him and came in because he knew I was in a jam and fixed my teeth!!! Needless to say, I was all smiles for my buddy's bday photos the next day. Doc Romano is not only a great dentist/periodontist but he's a good man and his daughter who joined the practice turned out to be great people too! Super personable, professional and truly good at what she does! So if you are looking for a dental practice that is honest, thoughtful, fair, and compassionate this is the place. And with Dr Romano 2.0 coming onto the scene, I have all the reason in the world to believe the tradition will continue. Trust me. Go here.

There's something sketchy going on with an upper right molar and I decided to start with a root planing scaling (extra deep cleaning)... and see if that would help. It did a bit I guess but there might be more necessary so yay 2026! Anywhoo... this place is nice enough but its definitely more a family shop then professional office location is in a south Schaumburg strip mall and seems oddly designed. The admin staff seem okay but had a habit of not returning calls for 3 or so days which I was not a fan of in terms of service level. Loved Siena (dentist daughter) she was very cool and fun to chat with... her Dad was alright but seemed to over-explain basic dental procedures which made me think the demographics of clients were not critical thinkers... Ultimately though I think it wasnt a good fit after a year of trying their services... others might like the practice though.

Right away, he suspected a very rare (1 in 1,000,000) auto-immune disease called Pemphigoid. I believe he has seen only two cases of this in his entire career. My regular dentist had never seen it. Dr. Bernstein did a biopsy on my gums and confirmed his suspicions. From what I know now, some people with this go for years before getting a proper diagnosis. It took me one visit to Dr. Bernstein and a follow-up for the biopsy. Kudos to Dr. Bernstein!

Fantastic Experience here with Dr. Flynn and his staff…read more Everyone is so welcoming and pleasant! Dr. Flynn is a major part of the team of specialists I selected to correct my smile. I have two 20+ year crowns on my front teeth (which caused decay, leading to bone loss) I saw him in March for a Bone Graft to correct the issue - it healed so nicely. Surgery was quick and almost painless. He has a very accurate with those injections! After waiting 6+ months, Dr Flynn then performed a gingivectomy (similar to crown lengthening) He did such fabulous work reshaping my gum line to prepare for new crowns. They look amazing. So natural.. I will come back to update with photos once I have my crowns placed! I highly recommend Dr. Flynn!!!
