Fortunately, up until this past year I was able to stay with the same dentist for 15+ years. Like so many things, life happens and the need for a new dentist arises. Not only would I recommend this dentist, but I would highly recommend it to someone who is coming from a dentist they may have had for a long time. The staff is very friendly and will answer ANY insurance questions that you may have. Dr. Gaspard takes the time to explain what you need done, if anything, and answers any questions you may have. This is a rare occasion that I feel actually bad for NOT reviewing this place to make sure people stay away, if possible. I foolishly chose a cheaper DHMO plan at work which led me to trying this dental office as they were the only ones around me who would accept this insurance. That is one of the only positives about this office! The other positive is the dental assistant who was friendly. Otherwise, the positives stopped there. I went in to this appointment with low expectations from other reviewers but I hadn't been to a dentist in over a year and didn't want to wait another year. The dentist has literally zero bedside manner for patients, which I can deal with. I went for a check up and cleaning (both which were very lackadaisically done) then had to return for two cavity fillings. There is plenty wrong with this office and practice but the worst part of my visit was when he straight up scolded his dental assistant when she handed him the wrong tool? Literally, mid-procedure with my mouth wide open (even though my mouth was not numb - he did not seem to care even after telling him multiple times), he was raising his voice right above me. So completely unprofessional and uncomfortable. That was after my last filling so I vowed to never go back. I switched insurances as soon as I could and immediately found a nicer office that caused me a lot less pain and anxiety. The kicker is that I'm fairly certain one of the cavities he filled lead to me having a cracked tooth and the other was not installed properly - I had to find another office who would properly shape my filling and replace it. Do everything you can to stay away from this office. I can confidently say this is the worst experience I have ever had at any sort of medical professionals office.

After a handful of shockingly terrible experiences with Dr. Kothapalli, I'm finally going to write…read morea review. My first appointment here was for a cleaning with Dr. Kothapalli. I gave her a heads up that I have terrible jaw pain (I have TMJ) and she held my mouth wide open poking around with no breaks for what felt like an eternity, and when I tried to ease up a bit just to get a little relief, she snapped on me to keep it open wide. Then when I came back for a filling, I experienced the most jaw-dropping encounter (no pun intended). She chiseled my tooth to where it was totally hollow, so she could do the filling. She stops, then shoves a mirror in my face and says "LOOK, SEE, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU EAT TOO MUCH SUGAR" as she shows me my completely OPEN tooth, complete with roots and gum exposed. Absolutely disgusting and inappropriate. I was on the keto diet at the time, and don't eat a lot of sugar actually. Now for the icing on the cake. I made an appointment for my husband which was for today at 9:00am (after they had to reschedule twice, but whatever). At 8:35 this morning, the office calls and says the doctor doesn't think she's going to come in this morning because her first appointment isn't until noon (um?), so he will need to go to the Aurora office instead at 3:00 today. By the way, when I made this appointment originally, I asked for the soonest available because it's a chipped tooth... pretty urgent, not just a cleaning. I guess she just wanted a nice morning at home, and we know by now she has no regard for other human beings. Needless to say, we're changing dentists. Just to reiterate, all issues we have had have been with Dr. Kothapalli as an individual. I know there is another Dr. practicing in this office, so go for him instead.

The doctor is Amazing with kids…read more Appearently my youngest got a few small cavities because she likes to hold her juice in her mouth before swollowing, and they were able to calm her nerves and walk her through the fillings with amazing skill. The office is clean and the staff is friendly. I really like that they email me and remind me of my upcoming appointments (make sure that you confirm or they will cancel your appointment).
