I repeated explained that I do not have neighbors above or below me. My electric central AC and heating system is located in a utility room on the 2nd floor of my three story unit. The USPS insists on putting Apt 107 instead of unit 107. My address was provided to you on Monday, but nobody was concerned about my apartment like home until 15 minutes before my appointment. I do not live in an apartment like condo. My condo building is three stories high and I live in a townhouse styled condo that is three stories and an end unit. My AC compressor that is located on the roof is easily accessible to tenants and service technicians. The lack of knowledge by the woman that called to cancel, her supervisor and the technician is an internal problem and not something a conversation with me will solve. If I ran Vredevoogd I would be looking for three new qualified employees. Your employee seem to lack knowledge on very basic information about electric central AC and heating systems and AC compressor located on the roof instead of being ground level. I was without AC for three days. Thank God another company fit me in that same afternoon. They diagnosed and fixed the problem in 45 minutes. Three days without AC in 90 plus temperatures and it could have been many more because Vredevoogd canceled 15 minutes before my appointment.

When I called, them again Sherry (Craig's wife) told me it needed to be replaced. Now they were going to purchase and replace again until I GOT A BILL OF $250.00 for them to tell me it needed to be replaced. Before that they stated they couldn't remove the water heater unless the trim on the door was removed and they couldn't do that. Probably 20 years before that it had been replaced at that time and there was no problem getting it down in the basement nothing has changed, so that was confusing. AGAIN I WOULD NOT HIRE THEM TO DO ANY WORK AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE.

We…read morealways try to give our money to hard working local businesses when possible, so thought we'd see what B&B had to offer. My husband stopped by their office one afternoon on his way home from work. The receptionist told him that the owner is the one who does the quotes and he's only there in the mornings but said she'd give him our info. and have him call us. That was about a month ago, not a peep. Anyone who has ever had a water heater installed knows that the majority of plumbers charge a flat fee for their labor charge rather than their normal hourly rate, and it's a ridiculously excessive amount for a just a couple hours work, around $1000-1200 on all of the quotes we were given. So after the company pays their technician for the two hours of work, the rest of that $1000-1200 is pure profit in the company's pocket. Apparently B&B has so much work that they can afford to turn down a fast & easy $1000 profit. Good for them, I guess, but maybe then it's time to remove the "aw shucks" story about their humble beginnings, the company's growth and how committed they are still to this day, despite their huge success, to providing potential clients a "superior level of skill, craftsmanship, technical ability and communication". Clearly, that statement is no longer accurate if they don't even have the professionalism or common courtesy to give a quick call just to say that they appreciate the inquiry but are currently so busy they can't help us out at this time. First impressions are critical and because of this experience we will never consider them again for anything. Good old Godwin Plumbing took care of us and in only four days' time from first point of contact to completion of the job.
