A couple of years ago I fell on hard times and it was COLD... My furnace was getting old and the fix wasn't cheap, I couldn't afford it. They stayed and refused to leave me and the boys in the cold even if it took me time to pay for it. I was VERY stubborn and they told me it was ok to let someone help me... that's something that I have never forgotten. That's genuine. Last week Don and Chase came out and installed a new furnace. Great guys! Called at 8:30 on the dot and we're here less than 30 minutes later. Cleaned up afterwards and even fixed some of the duct work that needed some attention. I will forever 10/10 recommend! Now, it is December 7th and the current temperature is 21 degrees F. Coincidently, my Son had kindly replaced my thermostat on Sunday, before he returned to his home in Indiana. I called Absolute Comfort Heating and spoke to John, the owner. I told him what the problem was. He took my address and said he would be right over. Ten minutes later, John and his assistant were here and made the wiring correction. Maintenance professionals should not have to do both their job and the job of the office staff. The office staff do not keep track of the service men and appointments the day of. When you call them they are unhelpful and sarcastic "Well, do you prefer we give a 4 hour window instead of a 2 hour window? We have gotten 75 calls today. There is no way for me to know if you have called earlier today to find out where the maintenance man is." It wasn't until I cancelled my appointment and asked for the manager did her tone change a little, but then, she didn't transfer me correctly, and ultimately transferred me and the owner/manager hung up on me. What a mess. Such an unpleasant experience.

I had no mechanical parts problems before he arrived but just needed coolant. After he finished putting in coolant he suddenly told me my Furnace drip pan was cracked and needed a new part but had to order it. Before he arrived I never heard water dripping and then suddenly when he was finished with the maintenance I had this dripping noise from my furnace and he left with the air conditioning running and when I came home from work I had water all over my floor where the furnace was and turned off the air conditioning. He sent me a invoice for a $700 repair but never told me what was actually needed and he didn't turn off the air conditioning when he left knowing the dripping water would cause damage to my furnace.
