At checkout, I learned that they are increasing the number of self check out lanes at this store. I am not a fan of self check out for several reasons including less people need to be employed.

They stock Lamb Sausage which I need for my Easter Brunch, and it is not available at other places in my area. Bought it. 2. I want a jar if their Organic Vietnamese Cinnamon which Consumer Reports says has one the lowest levels of LEAD as compared to the majority of cinnamon offered by other markets. Bought it. Having just come from Trader Joe's on Wolf Road, I noticed some profound differences including: --Really high prices at Whole Foods. For example, quality Lasagna I buy regularly at TJs is $7.99. A comparable Lasagna at WF was $13.99! Really? Same size. --Many aisles were blocked with very large carts used by staff for restocking. Traffic jams! See photo. --Stock is displayed on shelving that goes from floor level to about 10 plus feet high! You need to get someone with a picker tool to reach items on top shelves. It was uncomfortable to get the items practically on the floor on the lower shelves. Not accessible to those with back issues. See photo. --Fewer staff on floor available to answer questions. --One check out station. I had planned on getting some prepared food from the self serve food section, but at 11:20 am none of it was out on the steam table. Salad Bar was available, but did not interest me today. I will continue to be a regular at TJs and only go to WF if necessary. TJs provides a more pleasant shopping experience with better prices.

If you love olives they have the best olive bar, the selection is extensive imo, I'm kind of an olive snob and these fit my criteria for perfect olives. The tuna mac, best I've ever had. All of the salads we tried have been incredible (Caprese, potatoe, cucumber, antipasto) AMAZING!! The hot food bar, has so many options for quick take home hot meals. The butcher shop has just what you expect. Last visit we ordered sandwiches and ate in the cute little cafe seating area. The store is well set up and the staff is so friendly. 1 million out of 10 recommend this store.

Maybe it's because it's not at a super-major intersection or state highway. But I also encountered friendly employees. Several went out of their way to say hi to me and be helpful. Being smaller, you may not find every item, or as much of items in stock compared to other stores. The produce department is certainly smaller, yet still efficient, though some of the produce could have been fresher. All areas of the store were well stocked, and it was quite clean. Though I wonder how much their seafood department can appomplish. I wish the self-checkout area was a bit less cramped as well. An entrance sign on Osborne Rd. would be useful too. Still, it's a decent place to shop.
