This is not a quick, in and out visit store, but rather one where you can browse, ask questions, savor and sample. They do lots of food-related events here, like cooking classes and tastings. I brought in a one-of-one original artwork on paper, purchased for nearly $2,000, to discuss custom…read moreframing. This was a unique piece, not a print or anything replaceable. While I was there, the artwork was handled in a way that felt rushed and careless -- materials were placed directly onto the surface, and frame corners were pressed up against it without protection. Shortly after, I noticed that one corner of the artwork was creased. The piece is thin paper/card stock, and a crease like this is permanent. I had not authorized any framing work and had not paid anything. I immediately removed the artwork to prevent further handling. When I followed up with the owner the next day, I was told that the damage must have already been present when I brought the piece in. I do not agree with that statement. I have clear photos showing the condition of the artwork before the visit and after, and the crease was not present beforehand. Instead of discussing how the damage occurred or how to resolve it, the conversation repeatedly shifted to how long the shop has been in business and how many awards it has received. That did not address the condition of my artwork or the concern I raised. The interaction felt dismissive and confrontational rather than professional. I'm sharing this experience so others bringing in high-value, original artwork can make an informed decision. I chose not to move forward with this shop.

We came during the closing time, so there really was not a lot of people. Simple place. Clean. Trying to be like MN stores. Basic stuff. One major supermarket, few clothes stores (flee market style), and a food court. About 5-6 food restaurants. We tried two food restaurants, 1) Kaoly's: I had the chicken/rice. Was good! Good size too. 2) Thai bubble tea: My wife had some papaya. That was a fail. She also had the Mangonada, which was below average. For now, we are going to stick to our 5XEN location, because this place was too far for us Michigan travelers. Recommend getting the chicken/rice at Kaoly's. Highly Recommended if you live close to Appleton/Greenbay. If you live in Appleton/Greenbay you should consider trying 5XEN Market in Milwaukee, the food is worth the travel.

The market place is basically shops within this building that sells Southeast Asian items such as clothing, costume jewelry, shoes, as well as groceries. Within this establishment, they also have a food court. I see a group of women huddled in one area talking. I believe they are the shops owners. They see me because they look at me or toward my direction but no one greets me. At the food court, there's always that one restaurant that hardly opens. The one time it was open, I tried ordering two bowls of pho and they told me it would be an hour wait. I do a quick walkthrough. There are no one behind the other counters. So I stand in line for the only place that seems to be opened (it's one of the middle stalls). Their food is so-so but I'm hungry and I'm too lazy to make sticy rice, papaya salad, and egg rolls so I won't complain too much. If you are coming here to eat, go early before the lunch rush. One of the employees had to go to the back to ask the cook if she had enough ingredients to make a dish. She says she did but I believe she had sub an ingredient or two because the dish tasted off. On their Facebook page, they post pictures of curry, laab, stirfries, etc. I have yet to see this on their menu. This is a nice place to visit at least once if you are in the area.

I picked way too many options and was kind of overwhelmed but then she helped me narrow it down by modeling all my choices for me. This was definitely the best experience I've had while looking for rings and found my dream ring!
