What a great experience!…read more Recently, Yelp Atlanta partnered with our friends at Atlanta Food & Wine Festival for some IG-worthy photo displays. I really wanted something that showcased our logo prominently and figured that a sign would be fabulous. Here's a thing about me, I'm a millennial and think that I should be able to know the exact price of everything and add to my cart and go, lol. I've learned that I won't always get that, especially when it's something custom/special and you want to do it locally! So I decided not to be lazy as I really had a vision and wanted quality with a quick turnaround. So I hopped on Yelp to find a local printer and found Clash! After visiting their site, it was easy to send an email to request some assistance in figuring out what the heck I was looking for. I was lucky enough to be paired with Julia as a sales representative and she followed up on my email within the hour. I loved that! We talked through what I was looking for (a die-cut logo sign) and she helped me figure out what size would be best, which was great as I have terrible measurement perception. I let Julia know that I was hoping for a turnaround within 2 days, crossing my fingers that they would be able to accomodate and they were! The next day, my order was ready for pickup! Upon arrival to Clash, I was very, very confused lol. Idk if they had a monument sign outside that I missed but hell, I wish I would have seen it lol. I parked in the street in between where I thought the biz may be, and ended up in a one-way chat with an unhoused friend after giving him some $. I don't love small talk and prayeddd that I would find Clash sooner than later LOL. I called and was guided upstairs (I was steps away) inside of the beautiful businesses suites. Once I arrived at the door and let inside, the young woman who guided me upstairs apologized for my undesired chat outside as she saw me from her window lol. She passed on my order which was situated between two cardboard sheets, keeping it secure. The sign was absolutely perfect! We were able to perch the sign up on our balloon display and it was so perfect for the event. I'm planning on ordering another version of the same sign and working with Clash when possible going forward.

This company was so reasonable, they walked me through everything, and everything came delivered to Philadelphia looking amazing and was packed beautifully. We also had a misprint, which they were SO nice to help us with a reprint due to our lack of proofreading and were able to help us find a way to expedite them to ensure they got here in time. My experience with Standard Press has been a nightmare. Maybe I don't understand the services…read moreoffered at Standard Press, but they represented themselves as a full service printing operation handling the layout of jobs like work order forms and business cards. Even handed a logo and contact information, they couldn't layout anything like a business card and looked dumbfounded when asked if they would use the proof as a business card themselves. They didn't even use the contact's name that goes on the card! "How are we supposed to know what you want, " is what I was told. Well...a business card with the company logo, contact name, and contact info...like a business card. And why would something as standard as a business card take over two weeks to get two horrible proofs (the second proof didn't even have the logo and company name anywhere aligned together). Horrible incompetence and dissociation from the needs of the customer needing printing work. Maybe they do have great presses etc. as another reviewer said, but I feel they were pricey and you better have something "print ready" for them or they'll cut and paste your copy with no layout, typesetting, or making the copy work on the page. I thought they were the "full service" printer, not me.

I'm with the previous reviewer on this one…read more I talked to this guy about six months ago on behalf a client and he quoted me a super-reasonable rate. The client wound up cancelling the project so I didn't get a chance to use his services but I kept his original quote and contact info to give referrals and also because I knew I'd have need of his services at some point in the future. When I called him last month with the exact same project - he quoted me DOUBLE the rate. And I'm talking a difference of $250. When I asked if I could get one draft / mock-up, just to check color saturation, first he said no. Then he said yes - and that it would be $10 and it would be printed on a similar paper - not the actual paper / folder itself. During our call - he sounded annoyed - completely different than my last dealings with him. And I shudder to think that I actually referred clients to this nutbag. I guess some people might get good prices and great customer service - but it seems to depend on the day you call and his mood.

I was stunned that he would say such a thing knowing I was a graphic designer. I have 12 years of print management experience and know a heck of a lot more about printing than my client--a realtor's administrative assistant. He said he'd deal with my client but not with me.
