They replaced our windshield back in March. A couple of weeks after, we noticed that the windshield was leaking. They sent a guy back out that claimed they were using a new glue. They have sealed it twice now and it still leaks. They will no longer return my calls to get this resolved. Took the money and ran. I would steer clear of them if you can. read more

So long story short, the whole reason I had to get my windshield replaced was because the employees at a certain car wash I went to knocked off my rear view mirror while cleaning the inside of my car. (I guess he said he slipped while cleaning? I don't know, I digress) Anyway, in doing so, it took out a chunk of glass from my windshield with the mirror, and cracked it from top to bottom. They refused to pay for it claiming it must have been like that before he hit it (I assure you it was NOT) and it started a huge fiasco. So, instead of taking them to court and paying more in court fees than it would cost to just replace the windshield, I just decided to replace it myself since it was a hazard. I was referred to Mark's Mobile Glass through O'Reilly saying they were the best in the business. They weren't lying! When I called, I was quoted $202 to have it replaced, which was about a hundred dollars cheaper than all the other places I tried! Unfortunately, I was having a hard time trying to find a day that worked for me to bring my car in to get my windshield replaced, since I work long hours during the week. They said "oh its no problem, we'll just come to you! Don't worry, there's no extra charge involved. (uhhh SWEET!) They said they would be by my work some time on Monday, and I got a call at about 10:30 am. They were fast, super efficient, and the guy even offered to put my rear view mirror back on at no extra cost (which may seem like no big deal, but it had that huge chunk of glass still stuck to it from the car wash fiasco, and it also had some industrial strength velcro stuck to it from me trying to rig it myself to stay on my windshield.) I paid with my card, and he called it in for me. It was exactly the $202 that I was quoted. No hidden fees or extra costs, and they made sure when they quoted me to give me the full price after taxes, which I really appreciated. I made an appointment with Mark's Mobile class , it was a week in advance . I told them that I was leaving my car in the golf course parking lot located right on HH Highway in Osage Beach . The operator and I confirmed exactly where the location was and there were no problems . A week later the morning of I called to confirm my appointment and the operator told me that everything was fine to leave my car in the parking lot between 9:00 and 4:00 and my windshield would be replaced . I left my car parked there while I was at work and after work I went and there was no new windshield I waited till almost 4:00 p.m. and I called Mark's Mobile Glass to find out what was going on and she told me that I was still on the list and at the operator should be out there soon . I get a call back about 10 minutes later and they tell me that the operator tried to contact me and I didn't pick up my phone so he didn't come and replace my windshield . I had to take off work early the next day and go down to the shop and get it done because they told me there were no drivers that could do it the next day . This is the first and last time I will ever use Mark's Mobile Glass because unlike the commercial says Mark's Mobile Glass we come to you , it wasn't like that in my case I had to miss work and go to them. Took 2-3 weeks to get glass to fix my house window. Was told if they came to give me an estimate they would charge me $40.00 but that amount would be deducted from the bill if I chose them to fix the window. I was told that the pane of glass (15"x49") and to install it would be $251.65. Wow...I didn't expect it to be so expensive and the man that gave the estimate said it would be mostly labor cause the window trim was so old and would need to be replaced. The installation took about 30 minutes and the broken chipped trim was cobbled back on. Job looks crappy. AND no $40.00 was deducted from the bill. Hiway robbery! read more

Horrible service. They promised me my RV window 5-7 days, after 11 days from not hearing from them, I called them and they can't find the window. They call my spouse (not me) an hour later, saying it's there. When my spouse goes to pick it up (next day) they say it's not here yet. After sone explaing ,they find it. While waiting for a very long time, they put in the back of our truck and didn't tell my spouse, who sat there and kept waiting, finally someone comes in and tells him. As he is walking out after paying $70.00 for a small window, no discount for all the B.S. they put us thru, they were walking away with the window, they forgot to put screen back on it. DO NOT LET THEM RIP YOU OFF!!!!! While driving on Interstate 70, a few miles East of Columbia Missouri, a tractor trailer slung a stone and hit my windshield. A half dollar sized spiderweb appeared immediately. While on the phone with my insurance provider, I pulled into the parking lot of Mark's Mobile glass on Conley Road. The technician looked at my windshield and said since the crack is larger than a quarter he would have to replace the windshield at a cost of over $500.00. My deductible is $250.00. The good news is they did not have my vehicle windshield in stock. My insurance provider set up an appointment with Safelite for the next day. They came directly to my home and repaired the crack in my garage in less than an hour. I got a lifetime warranty and a total cost of $60.00 which my insurance provider paid. DO NOT let Mark's Mobile glass rip you off!!!! read more

I hade a windshield replacement from marks and the installation was excellent however inorder to properly seal it, the radio antena has to be removed, after picking up my truck i did not notice the antena missing untill leaving town so i called the next day to ask them to find it. the person on the phone directly said they never remove antena and they weren't responsible for it. not let me look or any other good response he lied. Lied first thing and ofered no apologies or compensation i had to by a new antena (30$). read more

I called the Jefferson City location today about having a chip repaired. I was told they could take care of it today, if I came over to their Dix Road location. I arrived, was promptly greeted and almost immediately my Ford Flex was taken into shop to begin the process. I was there less than 20 minutes and the repair was completed expertly. I have used Mark's before and have always received the same courteous service. read more

These guys are great! The trim was coming off my windshield and they glued it back on for free. They were also extremely friendly!

Update: Another company (Safelight) came out and fixed it 2 days later. I cannot even tell where the repair occurred. I can conclude one of 2 things, either Mark's never actually examined the repair job, or they were trying to up sell me an unnecessary full replacement. read more

Terrible all around! This is a long story so I'll try to keep it short. We went to Mark's to have the windshield on our van replaced. We made an appointment and specifically made sure that they would be able to do the install and check the calibration on the driver assist devices behind the windshield (that can not work unless calibrated to the new windshield). We were told that both would be done. So, I go on a Saturday with my 4 children (under 10) and was glad to see a TV they could watch to help pass the time. They finish and, as I'm checking out, I ask if the calibration was good on the driver assist devices. This is where is starts to go south. They said it hadn't been done because, get this, the guy that does that isn't scheduled to start for another hour! I indicated that we we told it would be done during our appointment. They were not apologetic and insisted they did nothing wrong. Bottom line - I had to come back 1.5 hrs later to have this done (again with all the kids) and I told them I would not be paying for the calibration since they wasted my morning. They actually fought me on that (but I didn't pay)! So, it's all good now right - WRONG! The very next day I go to an event and park the van outside. It's pouring when we leave and as I'm driving out of the lot water starts running down the INSIDE of the windshield. So, I drove straight to Marks and, after looking at it closely, the manager says that the WRONG windshield had been installed. I was not hiding my displeasure. He attempted to make it right by ordering the right windshield and offering to come pick up the van at our house to install and then return the van. That all went fine (or so we thought) and we were content - until the next time we took a trip out of town. Once on the highway the trim piece on the driver side of the windshield starts rattling and bouncing around in the wind. Thankfully it didn't totally fly off and we got it to the dealership for them to have a look. Turns out whoever installed the SECOND windshield destroyed all but 1 of the clips that holds this piece on. So, now we're out another $110 to have that new piece installed by competent technicians at the dealership. Avoid Mark's. They've lost my business forever and I hope no one else has to deal with this nonsense. There are much better places in town who treat you like a human when they mess up and not just a checkbook. read more

These guys fixed my sisters windshield on her Volkswagen and did a great job. So when my truck's weatherstripping started to mess up I figured i would bring it here. After about ten minutes they fixed my weather stripping and told me i was good to go and the next time i need work done to comeback....they fixed my truck for free!!! I will definitely bring my truck back if it needs a new windshield..def recommend this place to anyone for auto glass work.. read more

Marks Mobile Glass is unfortunately one of the businesses you should avoid doing business with locally (specifically the Columbia location). I have been trying to resolve issues revolving around my windshield replacement for 4+ months. During this span, my vehicle has been at Mark's unlocked after specifically requesting otherwise. The issues in this instance include: scratched A-pillar trims, excessive sealant on the interior of the windshield, numerous paint chips and dings on the exterior, and the chrome surround has pry bar indentions in it. As of 12/12/19, the body work was professionally corrected by Bopp Collision (Excellent Company) after marks tried to fill in the dings with a non-matched touch up paint pen. Marks also replaced the A-pillar trim with a used part in worse condition than the damaged piece. The remaining issues have not been addressed and I have been met with constant excuses from Charles and Danny as to why there has been nothing done to resolve the issues. In addition, there are small pieces of glass on the dash and floor. This is my first time conducting business with Marks and I am amazed that a company of its size and reputation operate in this manor. I would strongly suggest avoiding at all costs and taking your vehicle elsewhere. read more

Mark's failed to do a proper job and cheated me out of over $1000. I ordered windows for my house. The guy came out and measured the glass for the windows. I paid in advance for the windows. When they came to install the windows I was told the entire window needed to be replaced. The company said they couldn't do the replacement windows, and they refused to refund my payment for the glass. I think their guy that measured the windows should have checked to see if the windows could have been repaired before he had me prepay. They promised a partial refund but have not sent me a dime. Had called around for windshield quotes and they had the best price so I used them. Windshield was fixed and I thought all was well. Followed their instructions and didn't get a car wash until 72 hours later (even though they said just 48). During car wash, I notice soap and water entering in on passenger door side. I call Mark's to ask if the windshield was the issue. The guy who answered the phone made me feel stupid like there was no way it could be possible, but to appease me they could run it through some tests that would take an hour. We drop the car off and I let my fiancé go in and handle it. He was treated much differently. When the called him back after running it through their tests it was in fact the windshield and it was defective and they ordered me a new one. Long story short- I don't care that windshield was defective. They are taking care of that. Just wish they would listen to the customer regardless of gender. read more
