Communication with this business was frustrating. A rep would email and say they were on their way only to cancel after the appointment window. I was left sitting around fir hours only to have them cancel. This happened multiple times within the span of a couple of weeks. Not trustworthy. Not compliant. Scheduled a windshield replacement for 8am on the 2nd - showed up ten minutes early. The door was locked, all the lights were off, and I was the only car in the parking lot. I called the call center at 8am (as the store # is just a recording and you don't get to speak with anyone) and she said she would try to reach out to the manager - she did but did not receive a response. I waited at the shop until 815 and no one showed. I left and once I got home, called the call center to reschedule my appointment. The lady put me in touch with the manager, Dominic, who didn't even offer an apology. I live thirty minutes away. He said "I don't know what to tell you, I'm here now, you can bring your car back." I did not take my car in, and I will not do business with that location again. read more

I scheduled an apt to have a small (smaller than a dime) chip repaired, located just below my rear view mirror. An associate with dusty coveralls from head to toe climbed into my truck with her knee buried into my front seat, she proceeded to give me the (in here words) the spiel with an attitude of I don't have time for this. My truck was pulled in for service pretty close to my appointed time. I could see the rear of my Camper/Truck through the office window whereby after 20mins or so, a could see a tech about to attempt to clean my rear glass. Although I appreciate the effort, my truck was really dusty and my windows should never have been sprayed down with window cleaner and then muddy smeared glass wiped until clean. I was then concerned about my rear camper shell deck lid and any other painted or polished plastic. My service was completed and the manager checked me out and gave no indication of the repair results... just thank you and closed my ticket out. This is where the disappointment sat in. I was handed my key and I walked out to look at the repair and do a walk around my truck fully expecting some kind of scratchy damage from a mud-rag wiping all my windows and camper shell glass. (see photo) I then opened the drivers door to see trampled dusty door sill and dusty palm prints on my steering wheel. I later discovered a dollop of glue below the screen of my infotainment screen. I immediately walked into the shop and called for the tech's attention and the manager responded and followed me out. I detailed my discoveries and explained that my chip had no noticeable scale of repair and explaining that no one even explained to me that the repair didn't take and I have my interior to detail all over again. I received an "I'm sorry, I can pull it back in and clean it up". for which I responded with, "No thanks, tell your crew to have more respect for peoples property". I got a crack in my windshield on a Tuesday and was able to make an appointment for Thursday. Unfortunately, the appointment didn't push all the way through (error on my end in not hitting the correct button to submit it). Luckily, realized this mistake before I showed up so we were able to get it rescheduled for Friday. I got confirmation texts/emails and a message Thursday evening telling me I was all set for the following day. When I arrived Friday morning for the drop and go- I was told my appointment wasn't scheduled until Monday. Weird, I definitely didn't reschedule it. Go back through my emails to find I had an email stating my appointment had been rescheduled... at 10pm on Thursday evening. Pretty coincidental that these messages go out not only outside of business hours, but also outside of when the "after hours" line would be available. Apparently, this was because they didn't have my windshield on hand. Why would you confirm an appointment without checking the inventory? The humans I worked with were very kind and I am thankful to them for fixing my windshield (after rescheduling for the second time), but the system itself has some pretty big flaws. If you have other options for replacing your windshield - do that. read more

Edit because I forgot to mention that Dan, I think, did a complementary vacuum & interior clean on my front seats, which was really nice!! They did a great job replacing my windshield! I set up an appointment online and was seen within a reasonable amount of time. The actual replacement appointment didn't take too long at all, and the staff was friendly & helpful. I would recommend it for sure. Also, I got a discount from a reddit code (Reddit30) so that was nice, haha. read more

If there was a zero I would give them that. Paul the manager at the shop is supposed to call me about a warranty repair and we have called at least 4 times and this week and he has yet to return our calls. Took them three times before to fix the windshield and resolve issues with lane assist and now we have found out they did not repair it properly and water leaked and blew out a motor. Just want a call back to schedule repair and this place and the manager Paul cannot even do that. Very disappointed Since we did not receive an call backs from Paul or customer service we went by there today. According to Paul her never got any of the messages from the customer service team. We have reached out to you more than 10 times and the local folks says you are not delivering the message. It is interesting that people working for Safelite are blaming each other. read more

The gentlemen here saved my day with a glass repair. They held my hand through the insurance process, changed out my raggedy windshield wipers, and even tightened up a loose door handle. Pretty amazing considering payment was all being taken care of through insurance. Their kindness and customer service was greatly appreciated. These are the type of errands you don't really want to spend your morning dealing with, but if you have to. . . I totally recommend them! My pitifully dirty little car even got a complementary vacuum and in and out glass cleaning. Really they were wonderful!! read more

This is the worst company I have worked with. I have been try to get the windshield of my car replace for weeks. They have the glass and everything to do the job. But the person that came out to look at the car wrote it as a repair and it was clear not. They have called and jack around for days now. It is so hard because I need my car and they have been doing this for almost a month. I will not use them again. There is a reason that I use Mark's Mobile Glass. If it wasn't for the warranty company making me come here I wouldn't. If you have choice don't do it. read more

I had some chips that turned into half-windshield cracks on my CPO 2015 Ford Edge Sport. Zero-dollar glass deductible through Progressive hooked me up with Safelite for a full replacement. Claim submitted on a Friday, windshield replaced (first time) on following Monday. Safelite came to my house which was convenient! Joshua was very, very polite and professional. My wife dealt with him while I was at work. It was very hot and sunny that day. I came home to find a gap between the factory plastic and the bottom of the windshield. I contacted Josh and he was very quick to come out the next morning and try to fix the gap. While trying to do so he splintered the edge of the windshield. He was very apologetic and offered to repair or replace the whole thing. I obviously opted to repair it to factory. I asked for an OEM replacement, he asked his boss who quickly said no way. I guess Progressive only wants to pay for a cheaper, substitute? Either way, Josh apologized and set up a new replacement time. Fast-forward to today (Friday), I was off work and Domineck contacted me to say he was on his way. In my driveway on a 70 degree, cloudy morning, Dom was able to cleanly remove the 1st replacement windshield, install the 2nd, properly install plastic FORD hardware, clean around the windshield, reinstall the front-facing camera/rain sensor/auto-dim accessories, and provide friendly conversation while doing so! The accessories were difficult to snap back into place but that is no fault of Dom's. That's just a modern product not being user friendly. All in all, both guys were a pleasure to work with. Dom was just more experienced and patient, I guess. Josh had a hot, rushed afternoon working against him. No harm, no foul. All's well that ends well. I haven't checked the lane-assist or auto-dim sensor but I'm sure it's fine considering how little it is affected by the glass itself. read more
