I had a filet, baked potato and green beans. The filet was great and served on a sizzling plate. The potato was large and prepared well. The green beans were blah, nothing really happening there, I would pass on the green beans. Shannon was attentive despite running a very busy and large bar. Great job! If I am in town again I will be back for another filet.

Run the other way!…read more I was here with my family a month ago and the bathrooms were closed. So, how does the staff wash their hands? At that time, the food and service were fine. Meals were overpriced but expected for the location. It was good enough for us to return with our aging parents. Back in today for lunch. At least 15 empty tables spread out over the dining areas. I had a corner seat so I was able to see who was coming and going. I also saw several (10) wait staff standing around. I overheard the manager tell them not to huddle around the host station. So I was shocked when they said we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. When we finished lunch they still had empty tables and bored wait staff. The first photo had a couple of occupied tables and the second photo was taken an hour later when the diners had left. The new "Rodeo" menu raised the already expensive prices. Besides that, they didn't have the $19.95 Executive Lunch. I ordered the overpriced NY Strip from the new menu. They didn't have it available or several other items on the "new menu." The temperature was frigid! I'm from the south and accustomed to a/c during the summer. It's such a contrast to 90 degree outdoor heat. This was ridiculously cold, like 55 degrees. Our server said she could move us 3 tables down to see if it was less cold. But if we move she can no longer be our server. That was odd since no one was working and no more patrons arrived. She's the same one who told us "sorry, we have no control over the a/c." Only to be told by a different person they would try to adjust it. And they did. Overall, they attempted to be accommodating but I'd rather eat elsewhere! It's just not worth the hassle.

This morning I went to albertsons on 3355 East Pershing Blvd. the Western Union counter to pay a a…read moreBlack Hills energy bill. The lady that helped me at the counter asked me if my name was in the system. I said it was, and I recognized her as she had taken payment for Black Hills many times before 3-4 years to be exact. . I gave her my phone number and then I had my the account number ready and she asked me what my account name was, which was Matthew B on the black hills account. She said that's not the name on that phone number. So I asked her is it Robert Matthew Baker? She said no that's not the name. I said is it Robert Baker? She said yeah but that's the name that's not the name you gave me. Unbelievable! I'm mildly frustrated. So I'm trying to show her my phone. To bring her back to earth. That's when I held up my phone so she could read that my account name on Black Hills said Matthew B. It would've been a really really easy thing for her to put two and two together, but if you remember when it started, she asked if my name was in the system. I started to get the feeling she just didn't wanna do the work. I tried to reason with her. And she got belligerent and ugly instead of being reasonable she got uglier to the point where I asked for a manager. She then insulted me and insulted my mother and said that she should have raised me better. That's when I told her she was a piece of crap, and my mom would've smacked her upside the head. The manager whose name was Felicia was on her way over where we were at. And the rude large woman from the Western Union desk intercepted her by the floral department and I don't know what she said but I'm assuming it wasn't truthful. Because when Felicia came to me, she was already "pre-loaded" and asked me to leave the store. I immediately which I did. As I was leaving, they were calling the Non Emergency police line and I said well I bet you get my name right for them. It could've been handled so much better it was just a simple misunderstanding that easily delegated by the Director Felicia . I've been asked what my account number is before. I've been asked with the phone I've been asked what my name is. And Western Union has my name is Robert Baker. Black Hills has my name is Matthew B. But all of that's on the screen in front of her. Through conversation and us both speaking in English you would've thought that we could've come to some kind of an easy solution that I was inviting when she was reading the screen in front of her. And when I tried to show her my phone with the information I had because she didn't want the account number which I also had ready . She rudely told me to get that phone out of her face, which wasn't her face. I just showed her the screen from the other side of the counter like anyone would. Felicia and the large lady at the Western Union desk and Albertsons . We're both wrong. I believe I was discriminated against and I will be getting that video and filing a discrimination lawsuit against Albertsons, Black Hills, and Western Union as I was a customer of both and they were a representative of all.

The meal was delicious, only problem was it wasn't served hot enough. Needless to say, when we mentioned it to Sherrie, who runs T-Joes & makes sure everything is served to perfection, she brought us steaming hot servings, including plenty for a meal to take home. I would have been happy if she'd just put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. Needless to say, the meal was delicious, and the take-home plate was an added bonus heated-up at home the next day... T-Joes is our "to go place" for a good prime rib, steak, shrimp & hamburgers. They also have a nice full bar that serves great drinks. Sherrie & her crew make sure their patrons are happy with their food & service. Great place to gather for special occasions like birthdays, graduation, or any other excuse to celebrate. They also fix "to go" boxes which I get to take to the ranch for a nice evening meal. We consider ourselves lucky to have T-Joes in our area for our "go to" place.
