This is my first non restaurant review; I've been coming here 1-2 times a week for the past month and I truly have nothing bad about this place. My first day here the guy working the front desk (Wearing the black shirt) was super friendly, showed me around the place and gave me a run down, great customer service and all-around a very knowledgeable man. When you arrive, you will have to sign in and after you have paid, you will be given you 3 clean towels. Furthermore, they keep this place super clean and atmosphere is very relaxing. They have a steam room, 3 heat level of saunas along with awesome cold plunge, an area to watch sports and eat food, an outdoor area that with a hot tub, fire pit, and multiple seats to relax while enjoying the outdoor scenery. I'm so glad I discovered this hidden gem, I highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing day at the Banya. read more

Disgusting attitude toward customers. The entrance fee is reasonable, but the additional services were disappointing for me. Two bath hats, one birch broom, and kvass came to $90, and on top of that, they charge a service fee in addition to tips. But all of that is minor compared to the staff's attitude. At the end of the session, my birch broom went missing. I saw it, and 10 minutes later, it was gone. My husband went to resolve the issue, and after 20 minutes of discussions and insisting that we didn't lose the broom, they offered us a new one. However, when my husband soaked it and started using it on me, we realized that this broom had ALREADY BEEN USED! My entire back was covered in some black substance--either ash or soot--I don't know, but it was horrible! I felt completely humiliated! Terrible place and terrible staff! My wife and I visited this place for the first time. We spent two hours in the sauna and wanted to finish the session using a birch bath broom. I soaked it in hot water, left for 10 minutes, and when I returned, someone had taken it. I tried to resolve the issue with the administration and asked them to check the cameras to see if it was a mistake. However, the cashier rudely told me that they are not responsible for personal belongings. After 20 minutes of discussion, the manager, Victoria, arrived and offered a new broom, to which I agreed. But when I started using it, I realized that this broom had already been USED. My wife's back ended up completely black with something--it could have been dirt or soot, I don't know, but it was disgusting and humiliating! When I complained, all I got was an apology. The place is ok, busy, the restaurant went down the drain. Food blan. Salty, red borch had one small cube of meat in it, potato with mushrooms were dry just like eating potatoes chips with 8 pieces of mushrooms. One would expect better on food for the price. Honestly, I really don't like giving businesses bad reviews, but this was really an u pleasant experience. Water has to be paid for, the towels are way too thin and your butt burns, only one sauna is good. The cold bath was warm, and the jacuzzi was also warm. I do not recommend. A great place to come with friends and family. It's fairly family friendly yet still allows friends to enjoy the day out. The facilities are superb. Top notch saunas, steam room, and cold tub. It's spacious and all amenities are accessible: towels are everywhere; showers are well located throughout. In regards to food, the menu consists of mostly Russian and Ukrainian dishes like borscht, kebob, specialty salads, blintzes, and dumplings. There are few other items like southern style ribs. My girlfriend and I were looking forward to a relaxing night in the sauna and hot tub but that didn't happen because there were tons of kids running around, screaming, opening and slamming the sauna doors and jumping in and out of the one indoor hot tub. The hot tub outside wasn't open and the place was very small. There were tables in the dining area cluttered with trash and dirty dishes. The fire pit wasn't on outside... Ok I am so confused what to give this place.. 5 stars for the best massage ever or 2 stars for the rest of everything? To begin with positivity: my husband and I both agree this was the best massage we had in a long time. Our masseuse knew exactly how and where to work her magic! Excellent!! Very disappointing experience with unprofessional staff. The facility only has one cold plunge and it was completely inoperable during out visit. The staff made no attempt to inform any of the guests and no provisions were made to accommodate the broken equipment. All the 'cold' showers were luke warm and the staff, when confronted about the plunge simply said it would be turned on soon. After only 30-minutes of being there, one guest mentioned how he brings his own ice because the cold plunge has been broken for weeks. The staff lied to all the guests and we left shortly after. No refund or apology by the staff was ever made. This place does have a lot of potential (their saunas are very nice and hot), but until they fix their cold plunge (and clean it) and change their staff, I would not recommend nor go back. read more

Marlboro Banya is running a scam: they advertise on Groupon just to get people in and then refuse to honor Groupon, just read other reviews for this place! I like this place enough to buy the monthly membership and come 2-3 times per week, usually after gym workouts. They do indeed hustle around trying to keep the place clean, pleasant, and well stocked. It can be a little small when busy, but the perfect size if you find your "niche" time. Most of the staff is generally friendly enough and the overall atmosphere is family/positive. The food is pricey and "ok". Bring your own soap, as the house versions are somewhat generic and uninspiring. Other than that, I have no complaints. One area of concern is automatic gratuity for food/beverage service plus if you pay by credit card, the receipt still gives an option for more gratuity. Used to be a nice and friendly place with great food and customer service, however just as many others went south. Had my 4th birthday party there which was severely ruined in every way.. The food was not what was ordered and paid for, even tea which was included wasn't served, not even water! But as a joke? They put two huge bowls of dried bread on the table! My guests were in disbelieve! They admitted making a "mistake" with menu but no credit was offered and even worse not even an apology!
