This little food truck was conveniently located for where I was staying at the time. It was already after 7pm and dark out. So I needed a bite to eat since I hadn't yet had dinner. I ordered a steak taco. I was the only customer. Took about 10 minutes or so for my order. To be honest, it wasn't very spicy at all, not even tasty. The price was just shy of $18 which I thought was steep. You can buy a taco off a truck in Chicago for less than that, and it would be very good. I can't really recommend this place. But, I would probably eat here again if I was in a pinch. read more

So Disappointing! We were so looking forward to trying this decently rated food truck; but after ordering food there this evening (6-20-2025) my wife and I were so disappointed. Average at best food and so many better options in key West; especially for the price. Our review based on Pork Nachos, Shrimp Tacos, French fires and Mango Smoothie. Pork was dry and needed to be shredded better, the nachos were bland, and the shrimp was basic fried shrimp with no flavor and the tacos were very light on shrimp. We had leftovers and unfortunately had to trash them as they were not worthy as leftovers. Cannot recommend. I can't rave enough about this food truck. Literally a quick 5 minute stop and probably one of my favorite meals on the island. We placed an order a few minutes after 3pm not realizing they were closed and they still took our order and didn't even mention closing time. Talk about great service! Good, local spot that didn't take too long for the food to come out. We ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon and the huevos rancheros. The burrito was small but plenty of food for what we wanted. Loaded with meat on Cuban bread with pickles and mustard, they were our favorite meal in key west (and quite large!). This place has some of the best tacos on the island. It is not a cafe, but rather a food truck so forget ambiance and you have to take the food to go. However the tacos are worth the inconvenience. The birria tacos are delicious. You get three to an order. They also do a great breakfast sandwich and good coffee. We had a very bad experience with this food truck. I was told I would have my food in 15 minutes. 40 minutes later I finally got my food. I saw several locals order after me and get served well before me. When I finally went and stood at the window they finally began preparing my order. One of our party has a gluten sensitivity (not a preference; a true medical condition.). They assured me that the taco shells were corn, but when we got the order it was clearly flour and she could not eat the tacos. They did not look good anyway. I decided to try this food truck and was not disappointed. 100% locally owned I found out that all of the fish served was swimming in local Key West waters just days before. Apparently it has a large local following as I met several native Conchs and they swore by the authenticity.
