Can't go wrong eating here. The food and service is some of the best on the island. As the restaurant is across the street from our favorite hotel, I start my day with a cafe con leche every morning. The Cuban sandwich is outstanding. Everything is cooked to order. Looking forward to our next visit.

Delightful. Off the main "drag". Excellent Cuban mix sandwich (we excluded the Salami). Sincerely fire coffee.

This was the best spot we found during our stay. So much so that we ate breakfast here twice and dinner once! Everything here was amazing. The owner was so friendly and helpful. These were the best carnitas I've ever eaten.

My husband and I came to Key West for vacation, and this morning we were looking for a place for brunch and Cuban coffee. We found this place and we are so glad that we decided to dine here! We loved the Cuban coffee, breakfast burrito, and the Cuban sandwich! Everything was so delicious, and we had such a good time.

We stopped in for lunch and share the tacos con al pastor and a Cuban sandwich. A great meal and the tacos were by far better than the sandwich. But I'd recommend both if you are hungry. We also ordered a couple of iced Cuban mocacinnos which were fine but needed more ice! They do have table service or you can order at the counter. It's a quaint little place but was enjoyable.

Simply Amazing! Everything is so fresh. The customer service was outstanding! The food was amazingly delectable. The Cortadito was made to perfection!. This is a must try if you're in Key West!

We discovered this cute lil cafe while getting a little lost while walking in Key West. This place is more than a cafe and has a HUGE variety of meals. After eating some not so great items in the touristy area, I wish I had room in my stomach to try some of the awesome food at this place. This may be an odd complaint but I kinda wish their menu was smaller. We got a couple of cuban coffees and an Orange and Melon drink. When we visit Key West in the future, we will be sure to make this one of our first places to visit.

There's limited seating, but we were able to get a table on a Tuesday afternoon. Our favorite thing was their homemade salsa verde which is served with their Tostones (side) and Empanadas!

I'm still thinking about this breakfast burrito!! One of the best I've had for sure! We stopped in one morning while waiting for our laundry to finish. It was so hot but the a/c was amazing. The restaurant was clean and had lots of Cuban themed decorations and pictures to look at. Our server was very nice and quick with water and a passion fruit mimosa- delicious! My fiancé and I shared the sausage breakfast burrito. It was wonderful. The green sauce on the side was amazing and I loved the red sauce. Stop here if you are looking for a great breakfast and great people!

Empanada was flavorful and crispy without being too doughy. Homemade salsa verde was a great add too

Our research told us that this would be a great meal and it truly was. I ordered the pork chunks, which were perfectly fried and so flavorful and tender on the inside. My wife ordered Ropa Vieja which was pulled beef, which wasn't as good, but still quite tasty. Had to bring food back home with us, which we ate for various snacks before we departed. Fast food and a nice hidden gem in the town. Glad we had this kick off our trip.

The restaurant is tucked away on a back street, far from the usual tourist spots, which adds to its charm. The food is authentic Cuban cuisine -- and I say that after decades of living in and around Hudson County, NJ, where the Cuban community is large and vibrant. At El Siboney, everything tastes fresh and homemade, with generous portions and prices that are refreshingly reasonable for Key West. This visit, I ordered the whole fried yellow snapper, served with yuca, yellow rice, and beans. My dinner companion had the Siboney skirt steak, one of the restaurant's popular dishes, served with a choice of sides. Both meals were excellent. Dessert was equally impressive: a delicious slice of tres leches cake and silky vanilla custard that were the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Dinner for two, including dessert and tip, came to about $100 -- a great value for the quality and quantity of food. El Siboney remains one of my favorite places to eat in Key West.

Most of the seating is outdoors, which could be tough on a sweltering Key West afternoon, but the interior is heavily themed and they did a fantastic job with the vibe. Yes, prices are a little high, but that's just Key West. The service, however, was great, and the food was exceptional. I ordered the Chuleta de Puerco, and it was genuinely some of the best pork I've ever had. All entrees come with your choice of white or yellow rice, beans, and another side, I went with the yuca. My girlfriend got the Bistec Palomilla medium rare, and they nailed the temperature perfectly. That's a thin piece of meat, so most places overcook it, but it was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Dessert was great, don't sleep on it. The Guava Bread Pudding was unlike anything I have ever had and the Tres Leches was perfect, moist without being overly sweet. To top it off, I had the best café con leche of my life. Here's where things took a turn: At the end of the meal, I poured a spoonful of the Tres Leches directly into my café con leche. The moment I took a sip, the table shifted. A warm energy entered my body, and before I knew what was happening, I was fully possessed by the ghost of Pepe himself. I blacked out completely and woke up in a hotel room three days later. According to a local newspaper clipping on the nightstand, I had somehow won a town-wide domino tournament and consumed enough rum to kill a small pirate crew. 10/10 food, service, and atmosphere. However, I am currently seeking a local exorcist. Pepe is still living inside me and refuses to leave until he gets another plate of yuca.

This is an area of tourism but we do live in Florida and have driven to the keys many times. This time we decided ti bring our family from out of town! What a disappointment this was! It was a party of 11 people. The majority Ordered the breaded fried chicken "Pollo empanisado" The chicken was overcooked but rubber like it seemed to me like when you take frozen chicken and try to defrost fast ... we left the chicken and ate the rice and black beans alone. The plantains were hard and cold . Just terrible! I love Cuban food and the "hole in the walls" are much better than this fancy all decorated beautifully!!! I take good tasty food cooked to perfection over the looks of a place. The manager said she took off two dinners off the bill but it was still over 300 dollars We will never come back here neither I can recommend this place to anyone at least the chicken and plantains. Not to mentioned I asked the food runner if he could pls bring us a few extra plates and an order of plantains on the side and this other rude man said" no!!! He can't do that he is the food runner tell the waitress " Really? It's that a good costumer service to you? The food is excellent--flavorful, thoughtfully prepared, and consistently satisfying--but what truly sets this place apart is the service, especially when you're seated at the bar. As a bar guest, I experienced something far above exceptional. It felt like walking into a place I already loved and being shown the very best of it by people who genuinely care. To the bartenders and staff who made every visit feel that way: Dairy-ah (I'm almost certainly butchering the spelling, but the pronunciation stuck with me), thank you for the warmth, the skill, and the way you made the bar feel welcoming every time. Lucy--always with the hat on backwards--you became my spirit animal the moment I realized how perfectly that energy matched the whole vibe of the place. Thank you for being exactly who you are behind that bar. Brittney, the chillest of them all: your calm, easy presence made everything feel lighter and better. Chelsea, I only got to have you serve me once, but that one time was enough to know how good you are at this. And to the Servers, Paul and Lola: even in our brief interactions while I was at the bar, both of you brought such strong, genuine personalities that it elevated the whole experience. Thank you for that. Blue Heaven is an amazing restaurant with great food and even greater service. But more than that, it's the people who make it feel like coming home and being shown the best time in a place you love the most. Thank you--truly--to all of you for making it feel that way. And to Henry, a longtime regular at the bar, who passed away during my visit.
