Got a few quotes. First ones after posting project were ridiculous. Marlin called this morning, came by within two hours. Got photos and provided a quote (about 35% less than Home Depots quote!). Said if I wanted they could do it the same afternoon. There was a couple bumps in the road getting my install done. Leak, bad main pipe needed repair. They did it and did not ding me for it. WATER HEATER: The technicians and supervisor are phenomenal. Frontline reception not great. We paid $154 service charge for no hot water, to awaken the next day to the same issue. Receptionist said they are busy with "big jobs" but could get us in within 6 days. It was not until I said we'd go elsewhere and leave a negative review that she offered to call the supervisor to assist. Supervisor called and was more than accommodating. We ended up going with another plumber who was at the house within an hour. Having owned a business, service starts at the front desk or phone call. read more
