Just got done with a mani for myself and my 2.5 year old. My nail tech wouldn't engage with me at all. I understand having a toddler next to us maybe isn't everyone's cup of tea, but she seemed almost angry or upset to be there. My nails look good and clean. The two technicians I've worked with so far are Alina and Zoey, and both were exceptionally good at what they do as well as being warm and kind. What a welcoming and super clean salon. Everyone is very nice. The ambiance is so peaceful and pleasant. They made me feel special at every turn and even provided complimentary Proseco! To be honest... I almost cried from sheer joy and bliss during the pedicure massage. What an incredible experience! I'd give it 10 starts if I could. Just visited for the first time and have nothing but great things to report! First things first, online booking was incredibly easy and honored when I arrived. The salon is brand new, clean, and thoughtfully and aesthetically designed. There's surprisingly no other place remotely like it in Marin. Their nail polish selection is high-quality and includes non-toxic options (OPI, Zoya, Deborah Lipman, Essie, Lakur, etc.). My Marlowe manicure and Big Sur pedicure were provided with care and attention to detail while also being efficient. While their services aren't the cheapest, they are are high quality, and they claim to provide their employees with benefits including 401ks. Can't wait to come back! read more

They even store your CC if you want so that you don't have to fumble with payment once your nails are done. Great pedicure at Marlowe today! I thought they had a great selection of colors, the treatment was great and the salon is really cute.

Loved the vibe and cleanliness of this place. I don't love going to standard nail salons because they don't clean! Nail dust gets everywhere and even if they use clean towels, they always look dirty. Marlowe was clean, beautiful, calming, and had the cutest nail art! I don't like to talk during manicures or pedicures because it's my "mommy time," so I prefer to read or listen to a podcast during my service. My nail technician didn't mind at all, and only talked to me when she had a question to verify color and nail shape - my dream come true! My only small negative is I booked a Big Sur, which included a 10 minute massage, and I don't think it was actually 10 minutes long - more like 5. I'll definitely go back though! read more

SUPER conflicted about this... First, the experience is just incredible. I had such a lovely time and felt so pampered! It's truly one of a kind for nail salons in Marin. The second I was out the door I texted my boyfriend verbatim "I'm never going anywhere else ever again for the rest of my life to get my nails done". It is unmatched. But then I looked at the nails... they did not look good at all. Bumpy, messy lines, polish on my skin, it was bad. One nail chipped literally the next day and I got gel. I'm a week out now and they have not held up well at all. I paid $70 for a gel manicure that didn't even look good walking out of the salon. I will definitely be back and trying out a different manicurist but I feel bad because she was so lovely!! All this to say, it probably depends on who you get, but for the amount of money I spent it is extremely disappointing. read more

I had a mani today, and it was great! I don't get them often because I am sensitive to fragrance and will get a headache from all the chemicals in most salons. Marlowe had no weird smells, and I actually liked the lotion on my hands. This is the first time I left a salon and didn't have to go home and shower. I'll be back for sure.
